Like A Hangover

LIKE A HANGOVER
One main reason I stopped drinking decades ago, besides being a really sad sack depressed drinker, was the wicked hangovers.  Three or four days ago I started coming down with a headache just like one of those bastards, but minus the alcohol consumption.  Aspirin won't touch it, nor massive hydration.  I've never been much affected with this affliction, so I'm out of answers to WHY.  My point is, the whole time this has screwed with my writing.  It's hard to concentrate.  So, bear with me, hopefully only for a short while.  Once this passes my writing will go from shortish to longer, and with my standard sarcasm restored.  I'm still going with multiple daily posts, but don't expect much more than a few snippets like this until I get back to normal.  I'll also work on transfering info from the old blog later on.  Any new folks here, you go amuse yourselves for weeks over at:
www.jamesmdakin.blogspot.com  with my old posts.

Please support Bison by buying through the Amazon ad graphics at the top of the page. You can purchase anything, not just the linked item. Enter Amazon through my item link and then go to whatever other item you desire. As long as you don’t leave Amazon until after the order is placed, I get credit for your purchase.  For those that can’t get the ads because they are blocked by your software, just PayPal me occasionally or buy me something from my Amazon Wish List once a year.

  2. Oh Mr. Dakin.

I got an excellent brain. My dr. says that it is very well preserve in Alcohol.

About my drinking: The only problem I have is that I can NOT get very close to a camp fire or a BBQ grill. I might have spontaneous combustion. I believe that is because my body's fumes.

Well, let me tell you. Alcohol helps me by keeping me STERILE.

I'm not as think you drunk I'm.

  3. Try adding a little more salt to your diet. Sometimes that helps with headaches.

    2. Have you tried any new prepared foods or beverages--especially "diet"? I get those if I accidentally consume MSG, or aspartame aka Nutrasweet. Check the labels. Caffeine-- withdrawal or too much will also do it. Perfume or a new laundry detergent, even on a coworker.

    4. If you are going to add salt to your diet, you might want to try Himalayan pink salt. It has many minerals regular salt doesn't. It's quite expensive retail but pretty cheap if you can get it in bulk.

  4. Your condition is directly linked to your abandonment of key phrases such as Gott Damn Yuppie Scum, Flaming Monkey Balls, and Plastic Carbines. Suppressing those natural expressions of your Lordly Brilliance is causing pressure to build up in your head.

  5. Have you had a lack or abundance of rain recently. As I've aged, I've started getting very bad headaches behind the eyes due to the barometric pressure. As a temporary fix try tightly squeezing the web between thumb and forefinger on the side that hurts. It is an acupressure point and tends to help me for a few minutes (so much so that at times I sleep with clothespins on my hands).
