soft secession 2

SOFT SECESSION 2
Okay, so we know politicians are the actual emissaries from Hell here on earth. We know they are Evil Incarnate. We also know they are failures at real life and can do nothing else. That kind of combination is going to delivery vengeful hubris and envious incompetence upon us. Aren't we lucky? The good news? Politicians spend most of their waking hours enclosed in their own private elevator smelling their own gaseous emissions. They actually believe their own bullcrap! As hard as it is to believe, they think they are special and smart.
*
They think people will respect their Ah-Thor-eye-tie. They think they are smart enough to end run around any crisis. They think politics is a magical wand ( rather than an accounting trick dispersing imperial treasure ). I'm reading yesterday, I THINK our Italian Seneca Cliff Gentleman ( in a guest post ), and it is claimed that we now need good leadership, and instead of FDR we have Trump. Where does one start with such obvious idiocy? This guy claimed he was a doomologist ( or some such cute moniker ), and has no clue about resource depletion? We won't have another FDR because we won't have another war of economic salvation.
*
People are STILL parroting the line that we get a draft and wage a global war and Make 'Murica Great Again ( I tried to respond to the post, originally, but I'm not getting through there or other spots although, or because, I'm signed in to Google doing so. So you get the pleasure of my response ). FDR had the global oil producer, the global industrial leader and the global bread basket, all in his back pocket. He was a dirty little communist that stole our gold and killed us. Without those resources he was just a tiny tinpot despot.
*
Trump ( or Obammy, or Clinton ) can never be a great leader as they have no basis of greatness. They have no resources to draw upon to do great things. It is as simple as that, but simple minds cannot draw a correlation. For the same reason we could not save our economy by going to war, and why we lost that war, we also had no good Presidents during the Vietnam War or the Arab Oil War. You can thank Nixon at least for getting China to agree to become our factory, on the cheap. But “great leaders”? No, none. Even Reagan only had the Alaskan oil and the Great Deficit Spending to thank for his leadership.
*
And you all know how much I love Reagan, the last good leader we had or ever will. But facts are facts, ma'am. And I know I'm overlooking his Hollywood Mob connections and his record as Cali governor, his Union Busting and Irangate ( just as I'm nostalgic for everything 80's ), but by gum he was the last good ( if not “great” ) president we had. Besides, I just blame Bush Senior for anything that went wrong in those eight years- LOL. When you have a bad leader like Clinton, even with colonized Siberian oil, you get three Derivatives Meltdowns ( Orange County, Russia and DotCom ). When you have a good leader you still need good resources.
*
Do you see how thankless being a politician is? So, do you see why it takes a certain kind of person to be one? Now, obviously other, more normal kinds of folks, which include Ross Perot and Trump and Reagan, all were better just because they weren't lawyers first. But it is still indicative of a certain character flaw. Even De Gualle and Hitler, and perhaps Napoleon but he's not one I've studied much, who were motivated by selfless nationalism, had plenty of flaws.
*
Exceptions aside, you can usually just accept the general portrayal of politicians as venomous scum and villainy. A very few, PERHAPS, will fight for freedom, but a general rule is that you are going to have a local Pol Pot on your hands, and all us Deplorables are the nerdy school teachers wearing eye glasses ( you think picking Jews for elimination was arbitrary and illogical? Pol Pot was exponentially worse ). And here's the thing. A local politician is going to benefit their own ideology. If they think Trump will help them in the Great Cleansing of the Bill Of Rights, they will act as if they are a federal toady. If they think Trump is too soft, they will act of their own. We already see with with tourism.
*
Trump says, no, don't quarantine those traveling from Ground Zero, the local leaders say, screw that. The bad thing is, the locals will support this. I know I will. But as soon as you disallow free travel, each locality has an incentive to act as badly as they desire. Like East Germany with the Berlin Wall. But even knowing that, you still vote for immediate survival. That is why it is assured. Right now, local politicians will act with a tiny amount of prudence, merely out of fear of being punished by the Feds. But what happens when things fall apart a little bit more?
*
Each local politician will act on immediate information. If travelers with Beer Virus show up, they aren't waiting for the next Trump Tweet or the Supreme Court. They just act, and there is always a lawyer-like loophole to hide behind. They will, say, execute you, but by indirect means. Such as putting you in jail for illegal overnight parking. You catch a cough and die, because you didn't test positive and so were not treated ( and you CAN'T test because you don't get the test because of more loopholes ).
*
The WORST abuses are yet to come, because oversight and lack of manpower and supplies are lacking. A governor cannot possibly have enough State Troopers ( glorified Meter Maids who are, if possible, even more jackbooted thug-like than the FLEA's ) to enforce all his bullcrap. But once oversight is gone, they will try to add to their private army. And that is where we continue tomorrow.

soft secession

SOFT SECESSION
Look back at the last two months. A LOT of crap has changed. Every governor, county commissioner, mayor and chief dog catcher is now a little tinpot dictator. And think about politicians. These are spineless jellyfish, failures at anything real in life. They were just given a whiff of ultimate power, a chance to lord it over those better than them. Of COURSE they are going to abuse the power. It is the school nerd given superpowers to punish his jock tormentors.
*
Surely most of you have watched Breaking Bad, and then, after having watched it again a few years later, STILL don't have enough of that wonderful show and start watching Better Call Saul. Which is even better than Breaking Bad. If you ever thought, “a show about lawyers?”, no. Stop right there. It is superior television. Anyway, the one beef I have about that show ( and that is hard to do, as it is near flawless ) is that they make Saul the bad lawyer. In my view, he is the BEST a lawyer can get and the rest are far worse.
*
Lawyers are a lower form of life. They are like officers in the military. There are a few good ones, but that percentage is so insignificant that it isn't even worth searching for them. And for any of them that said, “I went to school to fight for the innocent, but too late discovered the system was corrupt, but I needed to work”, well, double hump you. If you are screwing people for money, that is bad enough. If you do it knowing it is wrong, that is even worse. No job has a lifetime guarantee. Learn to code, bitches.
*
So, I tried to spare the feelers anyone that was an officer, or is a lawyer, but by and large you'all are scumbags. At least officers retire after twenty years and we can pay them off to do no more harm. But a lawyer? They become politicians. They spend sixty years screwing over everyone, and the last half of that is made worse by age related diminished mental capacity. The only thing worse than a lawyer is a politician and the only thing worse than a politician is a politician in a low level position trying to work his way up the food chain to Lucifer's position.
*
And these are the scumbags we have becoming Little Stalin's right now. Low level scumbags with aspirations to rise to the highest level of asswhoreness. No one ever respects a mayor, a nerd in a necktie shuffling paper when not getting kickbacks from the mob to build an unneeded school out of substandard concrete mixed with anthrax and Fuki irradiated water. What better revenge than to mobilize all the police into his personal Elliot Ness squad of enforcers? He declared that business a non-essential one, dammit, and these pathetic civilians shall tremble at my feet!
*
Seen the meme of the money printer? Boeing asks for $50 billion and Brrrrr goes the printer. A small business owner asking for two grand? Sorry, printer broken! Smelling the bloated carcass of 2008 TARP yet? The politicians are gleeful at the chance to assume power and punish all the small fry. WE are just scumbags, and from the overrated ( for freedom ) state of Texas, the same place Beto wanted your guns from, now there are calls to kill the seniors to save the economy. Social Security? Sorry, printer broken! See a pattern here? State politicians take the heat for implementing communism.
*
Now, don't get me wrong. I am not saying the locals are the Feds lapdogs. Yes, they play the part, to vacuum in the feds money for “disaster relief” ( yeah, it is a disaster their budgets are low. They don't care that people are dying-not of the virus but from crime and lack of food ), but the issue I see here is that these pathetic meat sacks are going to get a whiff of the grape, and it is such an intoxicating smell. Like a healthy fresh female crotch, you just want to dig in for seconds. These petty tyrants will not be happy to surrender this new found power.
*
We've already had a period of states getting away with ignoring federal dictates. It was all fun and games, while the states were doing the dirty work of being the illegals open door ( “no ID required, vote as many times as necessary!” “Sharia Law? No problem, just as good as the Constitution” ) or being an end run around the Bill Of Rights ( “Jefferson screwed his slave, so ignore that refreshing the tree of liberty thing” ) . That was all just Play Time Pretend. But, once you set that kind of precedent, you invite unintended consequences. The politicians thought they were somebody special.
*
You NEVER give that kind of encouragement to those kinds of idiots ( just look at Pelosi ). It goes right to their heads. Which is already filled up with the definition of “is”. Then their head swells. And they go from Retard to Full Retard. You NEVER go Full Hillary. They start to think they are qualified for leadership, when they weren't even qualified to shine the President's bunghole with their tongue. They were put into power by those in power, as a puppet. And now the puppet thinks he can pull his own strings. Nothing good comes out of this.
*
But these idiots don't live in a vacuum. Much smarter people stabbed their way to the top of that local government, and will manipulate the ( mayor, commissioner, governor ) themselves. It is much smarter to rule behind the throne, protected from the assassination attempts. While the puppet is pretending to rule, his men in the shadows set up their own system of control, power and riches. And who will be whispering in the ear of the nominal head? They will seek more autonomy from Washington. And they might just do it, as the Potomac Swamp loses control economically. Continued tomorrow.

note: food update.  Sweet Jesus, MORE damn pills to keep the NOL alive.  So, I went Full Retard at Home Despot to try to condition the soil here for another amateur attempt at gardening.  The stores running out of potatoes frightened me.  Love me some french fried tators, hmm hmph.  While in the store I simply HAD to buy more coffee.  Buy five Kroger brand, and get them each at $3.99!!!!!!!  They had potatoes-YAH!  Not many, but at least some at under $5 a pound ( I'm all for a price increase if it keeps the stores in stock ).
*
note continued: there was a decent amount of pasta even if half the shelves were empty.  One large bag of Jasmine rice and a few single serve nuke seasoned rice packs.  Absolutely ZERO dry beans, the whole section wiped, but plenty of chili and other canned beans.  Several large and a few five pound bags of white flour ( they never ran out of whole wheat, the whole time-make a note of that ).  The instant oatmeal was back to jam packed full.  Overall, I'm VERY pleased with these developments.  Granted, if we just got a few months or even weeks reprieve, thank Jesus and pass the ammunition.  Every single one of us, myself included, needs to Balls To The Wall fix any observed deficiencies.  YESTERDAY!
*
note: to John Wilder, on the comment from yesterday.  After a little more research, it seems you are correct in the figures for loss of business at restaurants.  It wasn't 30% as I surmised, but your actual 50% loss.  So the grocery food shortages were from going from supplying 50% of the population as customers to 75% ( at any given meal ).  4% of restaurants have already closed, this soon after the quarantines.

worse than worse case

WORSE THAN WORSE CASE
There is a lot of disagreement over Beer Virus. We attacked China, China attacked us, only citizens of Once White nations are sanitary and everyone else is a savage who deserves the virus. The virus is completely fake and the rest of the world ruined their economies to elect Hilary. They lie about how lethal and it is the new Ebola+Bubonic. Some theories are more plausible than others. I of course have my favorites, because, well, they are mine. What they all have in common is that we are all pulling explanations out of our ass.
*
And, I think, they all reflect a condition of being stuck in the Bargaining stage. Sure, I SAY I've reached Acceptance, but now I'm beginning to wonder, as I compulsively follow everyone's crackpot theories. Just this morning I'm reading Market-Ticker dotcom and I'm nodding along as I cover the article. Yep, smart guy ( less wrong than most ), I can see his point. But then, the day before, I'm nodding along with Aesop! Polar opposites, and I'm seeing the validity in both. You might say that makes me open minded.
*
I worry that this is a reflection of my continued search for hope, that I'm Bargaining with myself for an explanation other than what I've come up with months ago ( namely, the globalist economy and supply chain are finished, Game Over Man and Nuked From Orbit ). But I'm probably worrying over nothing, because I ALWAYS worry that I'm worrying too much, then go back to Acceptance that I'll always over analyze and somewhere in that mess is why I can write anything approaching logical commentary. Or at least I hope.
*
I'm not trying to claim that only my explanation is valid. I have probably 2% of all needed information. But usually we only get 1%, IF we read between the lines, so I don't think that ratio will be improving. Hell, people in charge only have about 10% of the information and that is their own fault for being specialists rather than generalist, who surround themselves with equal dumbasses who compound the problem by also being hyper-specialists. Ask a virologist about Corona San and of course they are going to call for worse case ( it validates their lifes work, and assigns a degree of nobility. This makes more sense than “on the CIA payroll” ).
*
Of course, that is what the CIA wants you to think. What if Occam's Razor is a intelligent assets weapon of choice, hmmm? You didn't think about THAT, did you? But, seriously, how many organizations at least try to some degree to employ the Tenth Man Theory ( even Israel seems to have dropped the ball, as it went from a military superpower in the region to be another victim of guerrillas, most likely its nuclear weapons its only way to retain sovereignty. Not to speak TOO harshly, the Soviets seeing a similar fate-I just expected better from a nation with its dingus always on the chopping block )?
*
Even a Devils Advocate Department can provide a false sense of security, as the underlying organization can never be questioned. The Worse Than Worse Case, that of the death of the institution, cannot be truly considered. To even contemplate that would remove focus on the group and place it on the individual, and NOT focusing on the group is counterproductive to its survival. I think this is the position we find ourselves in at this point. See, before all this, we knew The End was coming. We didn't know when, but we knew, Something, Some Time.
*
But once the end did show up, we still attempt to mitigate that. We try to see a way in which some organization is going to survive. None of us can conceive of a scenario in which tribes of monkey's cannot still exist. Even if they are your enemies, you want there to be a surviving group. We ARE naked apes and need our monkey tribe. Why else would I grasp in futility the only group I trust, The Coneheads? Who are probably more a danger than a salvation, honestly.
*
Even I do not want to hear about any possibility of a 99.99% die-off, and I'm the biggest fan of that over the years. Fan, as in Of The Theory, not a fan of its occurrence. I'm STILL trying to hold fast on my initial-and hence more than likely correct-reaction that this is a total social meltdown and civilization collapse with a sprinkling of die-off. But I find myself both qualifying that statement ( “I don't WANT to be right, but fear I am” ) AND searching for a logical explanation I can grasp counteracting my contention. Then subjecting all of you to the mental battle between Hope and Logic. Not that you didn't sign up for that, suckers.
*
And it isn't even as if I think the Lizard Brain is wrong. I know better. I joke about being Baby Jesus' favorite, as all my life everything has worked out for me-even the pain and suffering is put to good use. But being honest? I think I just have a better grasp of my Lizard Brain. I don't dismiss him as quickly as most, nor ignore him like many. I just have a better balancing act between the two. And even Monkey knows that Lizard is right this time. He keeps checking the headlines, in deluded hope, but still knows Lizard is right.
*
Don't dismiss the Worse Than Worse Case, that we might actually in fact be headed towards that complete break down in ALL levels of social organizations. Even tribes, that timeless unit we always return to when the chips are down, will for a short time be a hindrance. You simply do not have enough food for a tribe. Most of us can barely hang on to family during a collapse, logistically speaking. A tribe at this point is simply too many people.
*
I know this is hard to accept. Tribe is both what the Monkey AND the Lizard brain want and need ( Lizard is a selfish horny prick, unfit for polite society. And even he knows giving up one unit of selfish delivers ten units of protection and benefits with tribe-that is another reason for its unquestioned acceptance. It isn't JUST because cultural programming ). But you must POSTPONE tribe for a short time. You don't have enough bullets, so you must let hunger and tribal conflict wipe out the calorie competition. You cannot argue with resource availability ( cough, Fracking Fanboys, cough ). That should cover the basics-I'm not sure if I'll continue with this one.

malthus with a whimper 2

MALTHUS WITH A WHIMPER 2
America is largely a nation of Short Cutters. We have gotten so spoiled and are so steeped in luxury and leisure, we almost always pick the easy solution to any problem ( which assumes we just don't ignore the problem to begin with ). The economic crash today is a result of all the easy answers we decided upon in 2008. Such as allowing a strategic asset to move overseas. Not just computer chips for our computerized military, into communist China, but worse than that. We can always defend with militia, if we make up our minds to do so. Our current military is just an albatross left over from the PetroDollar.
*
Which is dead and has been dead and which is also a large part of the current economic mess. No, I'm talking about artificial fertilizer. The bankers played their reindeer games with a oil industry the US no longer controls internationally, and the paper oil price zoomed to $140. In a blind panic, a LOT of the fertilizer companies off shored. They went overseas, to cheaper feedstock prices. And like a lot of chemicals no longer coming from China, we kind of friggin need fertilizer, in this case to grow our food. Not a problem, barely an inconvenience, I hear the crowd of Ollies proclaiming.
*
We'll just ramp our industry back up. Oh, you mean like our pharmaceuticals and car and tractor and semi parts? We can't even manufacture our own masks, which a grade schooler with glue and a stapler could manage. We. Don't. Manufacture. Essentials. Here. Period. We spit on redundancy and maximized efficiency and we are now paying that bill. ALL decisions have consequences. We thought Exceptional Americans could bypass that bill. Because we deserve it and owed ourselves. Welcome to the jungle, bitches.
*
With most of the world on lock-down ( and I'm wondering how much this cooperation is due to countries following China's lead of passive aggressive attacks against the US by pretending the Virus is holding up trade-with a future expectation of the new superpower favoring them ), is fertilizer being shipped over here for Spring planting? Will there be a computer virus directed at John Deer farming equipment, while the Internet is still working ( or, conversely, will the US shut down the Internet, using “computer virus attack” as the pretext, the real reason being a stoppage of information? Remember, the system is humped. Might they not care if Internet financial transactions cease? )?
*
Before, I've theorized that one way to explain the complete stupidity of our political and banker elite is that they are in fact no longer managed by the Rothschild's, but rather were cast adrift on their own, the puppets at the head of the local organizations no longer receiving marching orders but were instead left to administer the parasite mechanisms themselves. Which they are unqualified to do. Like the Mafia younger retarded son told to go supervise a bankrupt city. He might extract a little more wealth, but the Family wasn't wasting resources to do so.
*
I understand it is a bit of a fanciful theory, but certainly it isn't impossible or improbable. Red Shield ( for new minions, that is the translation from the German for Rotes Schild ) does occasionally go to ground at the end of an extraction cycle, their wealth parked in real assets. It would explain the Full Retard behind every move we are seeing. But enough of that. We just need to know the system IS failing, our Dear Leaders know this full well ( true leaders, not figure heads ).
*
They can see the systemic failings ahead of us. Their only concern is to keep us cooped up in isolation, stressed about money instead of food ( but, food also, with a false dash of hope the quarantine only lasts two weeks ). They can survive on drive-thru ( They Hump You In The Drive Thru ) breakfast and lunch, with a can of soup from a dwindling supply for dinner. And since they all have a few bucks of credit left, they are just eating on credit, on the last restaurant supplies in the distribution chain.
*
If there is a three day supply of food in the system, and we are seeing 150% of the semi-truck traffic as before, and every truck is full of food, why are all the shelves still empty? Assume 30% of the food flowed daily. One third of the shelves emptied daily, and were then filled. If we tripled the semi's with food, by eliminating all other goods not consumable, and only 50- 80% of the food is gone from the shelves ( still junk food and seasonings, and specialty items like gluten free pasta or frozen Lithuanian Goulash ), AND restaurant sales are down because of the non-inside-seating policies, WHERE IS THE FOOD???
*
I understand it is too early to be impacted by the lack of fertilizer. Unless last years harvest was much worse than reported ( remember all those temporary plastic on the ground grain silo's that precluded weighing and recording? ), and that would explain a lot, from the trade war almost purposely forcing China to refuse our food. To the attack on the swine, chickens and wheat over in China. We might have been so low in supply we had to keep the food we had to cover up our shortages from the public. Give the US bioweapon time to shut down the economy.
*
I know I'm kind of mixing apples and oranges here, as the economic collapse was one thing, and the harvest shortages another ( remember, other areas couldn't send us grain/beans, with failures of their own to include those locusts ). Or, they just both happened pretty much together. Along with the Peak Fracking Oil. All coming together to force the Virus issue as a control mechanism. We needed people distracted and isolated. The Virus itself is no walk in the park with your pet unicorn, but it ain't the Black Plague either. There is a reason the government is doing the only thing it is good at, fighting us. And they are just a lackey for the bankers, withdrawing after the end of the wealth extraction.
*
So, my advice, or at least what I am doing, is to watch very carefully a stealth die-off, in the form of food not replenished, spotty Internet ( blamed on “everyone working from home” ) to kill information, the police harassing those trying to group together for information or planning ( evil militias ) and whatever other ploy it takes to keep us tied up as they allow us to die-off.

note: in the Math Ain't Hard department, total global debt is $250 trillion.  Banks have under $10 trillion in capital.  Thus any non-payment over 4% wipes out all the banks.  Want to guess the debt amount just between the tourism industry and the US Fracking Oil industry?  And remember that one quadrillion dollar derivatives amount, additionally.

malthus with a whimper

MALTHUS WITH A WHIMPER
I'm always pretty confused, but the latest has me scratching my head even more. I can see most governors banning gun sales, because Smurf's Gotta Smurf. I can see them banning large events, as that is a natural outgrowth of Terrorists Under Every Bed. But the indecently fast gleeful shutting of the entire economy? How can this possibly benefit state governments? That one might actually be easy. The FedGov knows how much the states gather in taxes. Just offer them MORE, in exchange for qualifying for Emergency Orders funding. The quicker they lock everyone down, the more cash flows to their coffers.
*
Hell, the pot might be sweetened enough the pension funds get replenished. This is of course pure conjecture on my part, but I think we still need to follow the money, as it still lights a fire under the asses of those playing musical Titanic deck chairs. I do believe the government at all levels is full of idiots. Just believing in Political Correctness, you have to be dumber than a bag full of roofing hammers ( these are presumably less intelligent than rocks ). And before you give Trump too much credit, he is from New York City.
*
Since BEFORE the American Revolution, that Dutch colony has been a radical hotbed of Progressiveness. It was a Diversity Special from Day One. There IS actually indeed something in the water there to make its inhabitants a special breed of retard. Which explains our banking system, doesn't it? Globalism might have worked when we were an actual colonial power, but Vietnam ended all that. Now it is just a control mechanism, and New York one of its control pods. Never trust any institution from there, or anyone. Trump is an establishment RINO.
*
You simply cannot discount dumbassery from our analysis of this emergency. You cannot give too much credit to a system run by the bankers, who fixed their 2008 derivative meltdown with three times the debt and double the derivatives ( as Buffet said in one of his last lucid pre-dementia moments, derivatives are financial weapons of mass destruction ). And, what is it, exactly, with all these mentally challenged old humpers in charge? Pelosi, Joe, I'm actually thinking Trump, and not JUST to be mean.
*
If it isn't simply stupidity, it could be an addled state, mental capacities greatly diminished due to age. It isn't like a younger generation is being trained to replace anyone. The last of the youth leadership was wasted on Clinton, and now they are the same sorry syphilis brain dead zombies as everyone else in power. Or perhaps they ate their children sex slaves, and got Mad Cow disease. Whatever happened, and I think too much pot is the least likely because they are NOT very mellow, the leadership ain't right by any metric.
*
But, again, why would the REAL power heads ( the governors are just FIGURE heads ) want to shut down the economy? I don't think it is a New World Order. As I've said repeatedly, you need a SURPLUS of resources to centralize. A contraction of resources gets you decentralization. The powers that be can only centralize. But they cannot SUCCESSFULLY centralize. Just look at the UN Army, or the European Union. Even nation states are obsolete, but still can scrape by simply from past inertia and investments ( but under increasing stress as resources contract ).
*
We are witnessing the implosion of empire, as overseas funding dried up and the end of paper wealth stimulus is here, clearly no longer working at all. But the power structure must still fight the good fight. They think they can survive. Even if they know they cannot, they fight for extra time, for an escape if nothing else. Since we can only see the ten percent of the iceberg above water, we cannot know. But I'm guessing that last October they lost control of the derivatives market.
*
They kept pushing more and more funny money into the system, which worked in a one step forward and two steps back. Now, after ten times the stimulus, they are only slowing down the backwards steps. At some point they must have known it simply wasn't working and bound to end in 1929 style failure. They must have seen ( the intelligence agencies reporting to the gov who reports to his orange ass's controllers ) that China after containing Beer Virus still refused to crank up the factories again. It was time to panic, as no amount of money can replace what isn't there physically.
*
The government in New York City ( the bankers ) is throwing money at the problem. But not to fix it. They tried that and it didn't work. To manage the crash. And to manage it, they are throwing money at all the idiots who think money will be worth something by the end of the year. The governors specifically. Big business. Wal-Mart food trucks might still be running. To the government facilities. I KNOW we have to wait for the streets to empty as the Flu erupts for real, to see if the shelves are replenished, but that is also the waiting game they want us to play.
*
I'm making wild ass guesses here, but I think it is important to see one step ahead of the panicked masses. I'm ASSUMING the food distribution system is broken, true or not. Because to assume otherwise is to invite real trouble you don't want to see. It is all fun and games to shelter in place, now, while the grape soda is still in the ghetto cupboards, but that can change on a whim. Riots ARE assured. Only the timing is unknown. If the bankers know the system is humped, unemploying everyone doesn't matter. If car spare parts and medical supplies are not flowing, you cannot run the system. People need to drive around-the whole system was built on that.
*
And without medical care, otherwise largely inconsequential viruses take on a much larger impact. And that is just two industries. There are more such as industrial agriculture. I'll continue tomorrow.

guest post-post 2 of 2 today

getting anal-post 1 of 2 today

GETTING ANAL
No, this post is not about toilet paper. In fact, if its a choice between calories or TP, I think there should be a ban on TP ( and bottled water, frankly ) until every grocery store in the land is groaning under the weight of dry foods. If that happens. One of two things will happen. My nightmare inducing normal everyday paranoia is justified and we are all going to die, or the Grand Solar Minimum folks are full of crap and Go 'Murica, Capitalism, and in the weeks the public is confined to quarters the Great Replenishment happens. My vote ( not my first choice ) is doom. My hope is I'm badly mistaken.
*
I don't care if I'm wrong. What harm is there? You bought some more ammo, or food. You can never have enough. You got junk land. So what? Vacation and retirement. But let us be realistic. You all do NOT need me to call the apocalypse or not. You are reasonable intelligent minions. Perhaps some of you must move your lips when you read my words, but I don't think those types get information from blogs. YouTube is more their speed. But, OY! Some of the YouTubers right now! Shut the Hell up already, simple humps dropped on their heads as babies, no, we do in fact NOT want to listen to you streaming for two hours. You have at most ten minutes of information.
*
Always with the taunting headline, but when we start to listen you are blah, blah, hello Stephanie, hello, John, glad you are joining us and let me tell you about the dog turds I picked up this morning and Get To The Damn Point Already! This is entertaining to the newly unemployed? They don't want a video on coppicing or middle ages farming or something to fill up the idle hours? Analysis is all fine and well, but don't make it into a full time job waiting for your nuggets of wisdom.
*
Anyway, talk about running at the mouth like a rabid dog, this article is about becoming anal compulsive. No one likes That Guy. NOT the life of the party. And look, I won't even make any jokes about those Jarheads and their programming. My magnanimous nature once again displayed for awe and inspiration. But, it is time to get serious about resource management. The logistics is probably toast. Now it is just about managing what you have. It is time to Stop, Drop, and Roll. Roll up all those pretty pony lifestyle assumptions of abundant cornucopias into a tight little ball and stick them where the sun don't shine.
*
Once it began to look like the trucks were not keeping up with quarantine shoppers, I went Full Retard on Operation Tight Ass. Time to start acting like I'm actually dipping into my never to be replenished stockpiles. My beautiful hair that is the envy of the doom-o-sphere? Gone. Out with the High And Tight, in with the one size buzz cut. Less soap is now needed washing my hair. You might not think that will make a sizable difference, but then, you are a Fracking Forever Fanboy, an Optimistic Ollie and a lackey of Red Shield, aren't you? It makes ENOUGH of a difference, one tiny sliver of soap at a time.
*
Just a few days after my last toilet paper find, the bottle bidet was rolled out and has been in use every time. I still indulge in the luxury of a tiny squares of TP to first remove solids and last to soak up most of the water ( and double check my efforts ), but it is ten percent of my former use. I won't skimp so much I endanger health. That is a wee bit important right now. Dish soap was already homemade laundry soap, which doesn't foam, but the NOL insists on SOME store bought dish soap in the mix. I started refilling the dispenser, so it went from a 50/50 mix to a one third store bought to two thirds homemade.
*
I had been using a napkin to pre-clean my cowboy coffee pan ( cowboy coffee eliminates most of the acid, which I need to do with my heartburn. And I am cutting back on the Tums by eating zero junk food. Nothing processed, and then only tomatoes need an antacid ), but I cut that out. The only difference is floating coffee scum in the pot full of dishwater. And I don't even NEED paper napkins. I talked NOL into cloth ones years ago. I don't need them for TP, either. It is just a desire to work on eliminating sloppy habits.
*
The down side of course is that I have to really bite my tongue with the other members of the Dysfunctional Award Finalist Tribe. No TP to be had anywhere, and certain Coneheads are STILL wasting it as if a TP Fairy is going to drop some off tonight. I cannot say anything at this point, as I cannot threaten them with food restrictions, and if I employ corporal punishment I'll be arrested. So whenever I am “blessed” with their visits I lose a half roll of TP. Grrr! It is a tragedy of the commons play every time.
*
I love rolling potato wedges in breading to get a delicious dish ( the days of grease drenched tators are sadly over ), and you all know how exasperating it is when there isn't enough flakes to coat the item. It is normal to bury under the breading to ensure complete coverage. But, no more wasting! I have to be rather niggardly with my use and so must carefully place a small amount in the rolling dish, then constantly add a little bit more. I do NOT take the attitude of “just use it up and enjoy it while you can” ( while tators last, sadly )
*
I'm trying to make everything last. Tiny, baby sips of the mouthwash. A bare smear of the toothpaste. Carefully measured out ( yes, I use an actual measuring spoon ) sugar in the coffee ( and a carefully measured out amount of coffee ). I'm even putting my socks on more carefully to get a few more uses from it as it becomes holey. Now, to be fair, being a tightass financially, all of this was at least touched on pre-Virus, even if not religiously adhered to. I've just become WAY more focused and dedicated.
*
I'm even being more careful to not waste my scratch paper, which is all from the mail in the trash. As I said, if I'm wrong, great. This will simply be another amusing story to tell. But if I'm right, this is a great start on husbanding my resources.

note: I'm more excited than a teenager in a whore house!  My son is working at home in his underwear, was getting bored and started exploring the family tree.  My grandfather was from Sparks Nevada ( until the war, where he most likely stayed afterwards, in California ), but even better, my great grandmother was from Elko Nevada!  How cool is that?  Perhaps a small reason why I've felt at home here, family roots?  It isn't THAT exciting until you realize how few people lived here back in the day, and how I got here by accident ( good ads on E-Bay for land ).
*
note: I don't agree with 50% of this, but the other half is pretty scary.  Made more so by the fact YouTube obscured the search for it rather well.  "We have no food for you" HERE
*
note: well, I'm a slow learner but not a moron.  Second day in a row I'm out walking and questionable gentlemen try invading my personal space at 4:30 AM.  Far less cars on the road today than yesterday.  I guess I'll be hopping on the exercise bike for ten minutes first thing, to wake up, then go walking as it starts getting light out.  90% sure if I wasn't armed this morning it wouldn't have ended as well.
*
note: Amazon is getting weird with its algorithm which used to recommend books based on other buyers choices, but now is using your own history.  Not sure what that means.  Even the sponsored books aren't related, as if they are running out of folks buying ads and are desperate to make a sale.  Why am I surprised things are going off the rails?

you'all ain't preppers now

YA'ALL AIN'T PREPPERS NOW
I'm sure we've shared that moment, a gleeful You-Tube type proclaiming that “well, everyone is a prepper now!”. Ahhh, no. Sorry. When did panic buying constitute being a prepper? Was that always a thing? Perhaps it was, because I haven't been a prepper for a long time now, being a manly man survivalist ( prepping for short term emergencies, verses planning on surviving End Times ). I guess you were prepping if you panicked after Katrina and had enough for the next hurricane. But even if panic buying makes you a prepper, it won't be enough.
*
The time of buying your way to safety has ended. What is there left to buy? Soon enough, who will have any money to buy all the things no longer for sale? You know, unemployment. Let us take a trip down Nationalizing Lane. The Prez just enacted the 1950 War Procurement Act ( forgive me if I have the name off slightly ). Basically that says that he can tell a company what it has to produce, and they have to listen. It probably also means they can take you from an office job and put you in a factory to work, but forget that now. Here are the immediate effects. That civilian ammunition factory just went to total military production.
*
That freeze dried food company just went to FLEA ( federal law enforcement agencies ) combat ration production. The silver producers just went to National Currency Re-Stabilization Fund production. Somewhere, they might actually be making masks, the whole reason this turd was dusted off ( or so they say ). Now, don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying this will work, that the FedGov will maintain and persevere. I'm just saying if any prepper items get produced, they won't be sold to you.
*
OR, let us consider both shut-downs and transportation. I'm beginning to suspect that the lock-downs have one purpose, and that ain't to protect people from the virus. It is to eliminate ALL small businesses to eliminate competition with the Big Corporations. After all, in an emergency our Dear Leaders always centralize more, even when it is counterproductive. Take as exhibit A the security agencies consolidating after 9/11. Each agency still protected its turf and refused to share, and now you had another layer of bureaucracy screwing things up even more.
*
If all the mom and pop restaurants are out of business, the national chains regain lost market share. Someone has to pay off the robots they installed to beat the $15 minimum wage hikes! All these small banks shutting the lobbies and curtailing loans means the biggest bailed out banks survive as the small fish die. I'm NOT saying this will happen. I'm saying that is the plan, or expectation. My point here is that if it does happen, all the prepping supplies go above your ability to afford it. Because now there is far less competition. And that transportation sector?
*
Let us say none of the above happens. Somehow the products are still manufactured, because now demand is higher than ever ( and, say, our Trump Checks are mailed. I know I'm holding my breath ). How are they getting to the stores or distribution centers? Pretend the National Guard stepped in to load supplies, instead of stealing the food for the government. All those semi trucks that survived the last culling of demand destruction, they are ALL focused on transporting food to markets to avoid food riots. Your silver, or ammo, or Prepping Whatever, it doesn't get shipping priority.
*
I worry, very much, the foods don't get back on the shelves. Perhaps when the Beer Virus REALLY hits hard and people REALLY stay at home, the system has a moment to recover. Perhaps. I just cannot raise my expectations to that level of Happy Thought. I'm not saying it WON'T happen, just that I worry a lot that it will not. Perhaps the War Power Act isn't about masks at all but about food, micromanaging all aspects from fertilizer to farmer loan forgiveness to harvesting to distribution to subsidizing the retail food outlets. I still worry it can't work.
*
How long does cannibalizing work on semi-trucks, from all the last years idled trucks? How soon will the spare parts NOT being shipping from China idle the semi or tractor or combine fleets? But regardless of that, you can bet your last jelly donut consumption items of a non-prioritized nature get shoved to the wayside. Groceries are rationed and nothing is coming through the mail. What can preppers even buy? Nothing. Zero. Zip and squat. The purchasing phase of prepping is pretty much done, aside from a few activities such as buying junk land. Better buy it and move to there before travel is verbotten.
*
A lot of you might have already missed the boat on that one. Sorry you didn't listen sooner. It seems the governors have been given a blank check with no oversight, responding as they see fit. How long before state line roadblocks? I'm actually surprised the police and sheriff reserves haven't been expanded rapidly for much minimalist training duties as that. And of course, right now, the biggest problem with most governors is the vast majority are communists and commie lite RINO's. This surely won't end without bloodshed.
*
I know I keep threatening the article, but for once in my pathetic existence I have a decent size stack of article ideas ( knock on wood! ). I'll get around to covering the states evolving to semi-autonomous regions. A peaceful handing over of power from the feds to the states and the states focusing on civilian suppression. Few of those in power are liberty minded, and I don't forecast a happy ending. But long before that, the system in place suspends your shopping options. Are you ready for this? Have you gone into Conserve And Protect mode? I might cover that tomorrow.

my deflated ass 3

MY DEFLATED ASS 3
I normally go out of my way to not listen to Trump. His speaking style is nails on a chalk board and his hair, being an alien life form command center, with his tan being a reaction to the radiation from same, is hideous to look at. It's like looking at Obammy's big floppy lips. Scary, as I knew the words falling from those things screwing me were imminent. For whatever reason-I guess wanting to know if we were in national martial law, but I can't remember-I listened to him for about thirty seconds and I could NOT believe my ears!
*
He was saying something to the effect that we went from having “the best economy ever” to this slight set-back with the stock market and TP runs or a slightly inconvenient virus. STILL, for the love of all that is holy, STILL he parrots the official lies and horse crap. I was simply amazed the set of orange balls on this bitch. Yes, I called your Make Murica Great Again hero a bitch. Sure, yeah, yeah, whatever, glad he's not Hilary. Just like a prisoner is happy he is screwed in the ass by a White guy instead of Tyrone with his massive meat package.
*
People that cannot change their minds when evidence is waving said Purple Monster in their face are going to have a slightly harder time dealing with the collapse. Again, a conventional oil production area is economical to extract for about forty years, if you don't overproduce. Saudi Arabia is ten to fifteen years behind that forty year limit, and they DID overproduce. The Saudi's are no longer the world's swing producer. They no longer have enough excess capacity to control OPEC. They no longer are America's PetroDollar salvation.
*
The US has been buying its own Treasuries for many, many years. China was no longer in danger from our dollar dominance and has been getting rid of them for awhile. In fact, I would bet a jelly filled donut that JP Morgan and Company have been using derivatives to hold down gold and silver to keep at least some Treasuries selling to someone else besides us, and are complicit in China hoarding so much gold. Sounds vaguely like treason to me. Not any worse than the pricks who sold all of our gold a half century plus ago, but still. There ought to be a handy lamppost for that.
*
Now, if China didn't need the US dollars, because believe it or not, not everyone thinks we are The Indispensable Nation, why are we surprised they refuse to be our toadies? America was only about 20% of export sales for China. Europe was almost as much, and they are far more accommodating. The whole time we thought China was our bitch, China kung-fu'ed our asses and made us almost completely dependent on them for our physical goods. How is that working out for us right about now? Still think we are King Crap and they are just a bunch of Turd World Nation primitives ( I love you, Benevolent Sino Overlords! )?
*
China is NOT running its factories, still. Just because they gave out one press release stating they are doesn't mean dingus. It is on par with Trump STILL proclaiming Best Economy Ever. Yeah, sorry, he just lost all credibility with me right there. I was overlooking his nonsense, but that is just too much for me. And China's leader lies just as much ( not MORE, just because they are communists, as if that was ever a license for politicians to lie. These cheese dinguses that keep saying “communist lies” are implying our people don't lie, because “capitalism”. Negro, PLEASE! )
*
China is not going to resume production until we are down and out economically. With production down, oil use and mining are down. When oil use is down, the price decreases. When mining is down for industrial metals, the by-product gold and silver are down ( primary silver mines have been in production decline for years ). In the case of oil, China demand destruction killed the price. Not a price war between Russia and the Saudi's. Pure propaganda rubbish. The Saudi's are still in the ring but are an old washed up contender ( insofar as the American system ).
*
Now, take primary silver mine production, in depletion. Take industrial metal mining decreasing, with that loss of silver. Is any silver even being mined right now ( if it is, it is akin to toilet paper factories unable to catch up with demand )? Right now, silver should be reflecting scarcity. Whatever silver you already had, because you listened to me last year when I told you to buy even just a few coins as it was the Deal Of The Century, the price on that is just waiting to explode. That doesn't mean you don't have to be patient.
*
Lucifer owned and operated JP Morgan has been caught and fined for manipulating the silver price for a long time now. It isn't just a conspiracy theory, but public record. At a minimum, there is a 300 to one paper to physical silver ( I've heard much higher, but an unsure of those numbers ). In 2008, Bank Of America was leveraged something like 180 to one one their housing bubble derivatives. Silver is at least double that leverage, the one that burst the housing bubble. What we are seeing now is just a repeat of the last time silver went to $50.
*
Then, the bankers manipulations competed with China's increased demands for silver as an industrial metal. The official price stayed where the bankers wanted it, but the street price about doubled. That ended as supply and demand stabilized. But now, will the supply resume? The bankers are selling off paper silver, probably to the Federal Reserve for more liquidity. Of course the price fell. But it has nothing to do with real world silver. I can't claim JP Morgan WILL lose control of the price fixing. It might be your grandkids that benefit from $1,000 ( in today's purchasing power ) minimum price silver. But the low price is artificial.
*
Low oil prices are terrible for the production end of the industry. That is when drillers go out of business ( exploration has been dying for some time ). That is when the banks refuse to lend any more money to those losing it ( frackers, for over ten years ). The last time we had a long period of low oil prices ( from Siberian crude, NOT fracking ), consumer goods saw deflation, but not housing, medical, auto's or etcetera. Auto parts are not coming from China or Italy. Care to guess what that does to the cost of Happy Motoring? The cost to fill up a car unable to move doesn't matter.
*
The whole system has crashed, and will NOT be returning. Which means the old system with both inflation and deflation is ending also. It is largely a moot point, but you are seeing supply disruptions ( of both oversupply and no supply ), NOT a return to 1929 deflation.
