PARTICIPATION TROPHY
The last twenty plus years have been
an insane roller coaster ride. If my
theory that the economic decline has lasted fifty years is correct, Peak Iron
Ore in the late 50’s triggering an economic contraction that set off the
cultural change in the 60’s, we could postulate that the Tech Wreck of the late
90’s took all our negative economic and cultural aspects and duct taped a
booster rocket to their ass and pulled the detonator. Has ANYTHING good happened in the last two
decades? A global war and an easy money
stimulus merely made the dips far more damaging.
*
This article is on one of the cultural
minutia, but let me briefly cover the economics. The 90’s were our last HEALTHY economic boom
( as opposed to central bank stimulus ), as we semi-colonized Russia and sucked
the Siberian tit of oil. There was also
deep drilling in the Gulf Of Mexico, but like Alaska this too had largely been
exploited already ( today, Alaskan oil is a mere trickle. I’m surprised the spice still flows from
there ). But Siberia was the last Easy
Conventional oil ( Saudi is no longer Easy Conventional, and has not been for
some time ).
*
Either the oil started running out or
all the profits had just been plowed into the new technology sector and caused
a bubble that popped ( and THEN the easy oil stopped after that ), and we never
really had a traditionally strong economy since then. Greenspan, a one trick pony that should be
burned in effigy rather than lauded, just threw extra money at the problem and
by importing extra Mexican labor and going from traditional construction to
plastic material, we blew a bubble in real estate as the cost of building
decreased.
*
I think there is a correlation
between economics and culture, for the most part. When things are going gangbusters we get too
much of a good thing ( such as consumerism ) and when things go bad we get more
negative aspects such as redistribution schemes ( no fault divorce, Social
Security ) that take bad ideas and make them phenomenally wretched trends that
take on a life of their own. And the
last twenty years of economic problems have given Political Correctness
steroids. Look back on the 80’s
movies-do you see a Battle Of The Sexes?
No.
*
The 80’s saw credit creation coupled to
Alaskan and Saudi oil ( sorry, it had nothing to do with Reagan’s economic
policies or appointees, which only worked because they were backed by extra
energy ). So why was the culture change
in the equally oil rich 90’s ( except towards the end )? Despite how much I harp on oil, nothing ever
only has just one cause. The PC trends
had already been in place, and the 90’s saw a lot of spawn of hippie scum
coming of age. A lot of immigrants were
already on generation two.
*
But that was merely the catalyst to
allow Political Correctness to be more than a simple Bad Idea. What fertilized this pile of crap to
grow? I can only speculate, but I think
the economic growth of the decade generated so much surplus that the Divorce Tax
exploded in popularity. Most guys, even
at entry level jobs, had good enough wages that the gals could profitably separate
and be rewarded for it. This really was
a time of full employment. But then, as
the economy imploded, that huge trend continued because of NEED rather than
simply GREED.
*
What better way to continue in the
lifestyle you deserve and are accustomed to than to have two incomes AND child
support or alimony checks coming in? Or,
if your new boyfriend just sleeps over a few times a week rather than lives
with you, you get to be A Strong And Independent Woman ( albeit on the gov teat
). With this economic boost, women
naturally flocked to the ticket window for a ride on the gravy train. When you throw money at a problem, you get a
heck of a lot more of that same problem.
PC was firmly cemented in place.
*
The race component of Political
Correctness is also just as easy to pinpoint.
Rodney King riots was the booster shot to the ‘60’s Negro Riots, when we
started bribing them to stop trying to burn down the whole damn place. And as far as the Mexicans, the 90’s were the
demographic tripping point. With enough
employment and numbers, suddenly Latino’s had the economic power to reinforce
all those negative trends such as wide open borders ( they only needed to relax
the Cali border, as once in they moved to every other state ).
*
Obammy The Wonder Half Breed Muslim
did NOT start all these PC problems.
They started by the end of the 90’s.
White House Negro merely goosed existing issues. Blacks were already uppity. Bitches already thought they owned the
place. Mexicans were already breeding
out Whites. White Males were already
losing jobs hand over fist. We had lost
the culture war after forty years of being hamstrung by our females, so OBVIOUSLY
the losers lost the jobs. The only
amazing thing is how many of us are still allowed to work. Sure, we can only work 2/3’s the amount of
time we used to.
*
Over fifty, or before a masters ( of
nothing ) degree, we are pretty much relegated to the military or early forced retirement,
compared to the old age 25-65 career.
And, more than likely our wages are garnished if we wish to have
children. So we are really only making
half what we used to, which closely follows our population numbers ( we went from
80% of the economy, when females were helping rather than hindering, to 30%,
all alone ). Can you now understand how
much economic power we have lost, and why it is impossible to regain it?
*
When you have cultural trends AND
demographics against you, it is pretty much Game Over, Man. Why do you think survivalism is so popular
with older White males? It is to a large
degree Wishful Thinking and Hopeful Fantasy that this whole rotten edifice crumbles
and we are allowed to smite our invaders and enemies and ravage their
women. That doesn’t mean things aren’t
collapsing because only an idiot thinks they are not. It just explains a large part of what
motivates us. And I don’t think there is
anything wrong with it. Men should be
warriors, and not the cubicle kind.
*
Tomorrow, the whole concept of
Participation Trophy’s and how to beware of them for the collapse.

That extra $100 covers everyone's Christmas gifts. Except the NOL, who gets extra, but I shop for her ( anniversary, Valentines, B-Day and X-mas ) usually four to six months prior. You are all super deluxe awesome! Many thanks.

Folowing. Jim is correct on the overwhelming forces arrayed against Minions. I have been relegated to dirt person status as well, and liken myself to a hill tribe holdout, living out on the edge of the chaos. Just stay fit, keep proper mindset, avoid risks and trouble. Think and plan how to monkey wrench the works or skim resources off the system as it implodes inward like a black hole dying star. There will not be any Minion able to save this world like a pulp fiction paperback novel hero.

Delete"Look back on the 80’s movies-do you see a Battle Of The Sexes? No.”
ReplyDeleteTrue. I’m old enough to remember the 80’s quite well, and there was little in the way of political correctness in most of the shows of the era. Though it was getting to the point that every so often they’d slip a bit of it in. It wasn’t really new at this point however. I can remember certain shows, disguised as family shows, such as The Walton’s, pushing feminism, and negro butt kissing, way back in the 70’s. And we all know that grandpa was at one time, a blacklisted, commie faggot :D (But in all seriousness, he actually was). Then there was All In The Family. Most people don’t realize this, but of course the show was pure propaganda, designed by a huge communist (Norman Lear) to make conservative folks look bad. Funny thing though. George Jefferson (recall that the Jefferson’s was a spin off of all in the family) was every bit as racist towards whites, yet somehow this was okay.
I’d agree that political correctness really started picking up steam in the early 90’s, as that has been my own anecdotal observance as well.
Just watched Every Which Way But Loose last night. Good 'ol Clint. Not sure if I ever saw it before, although I know I saw the sequel quite often. Anyway, even there you can spy a bit of PC snuck in ( the film was released in 1978 ). Even as they were celebrating macho fighting men, you get the sense it was a bit of a satire. And even when they made fun of SOME femiNazi's ( the college student he slipped the false teeth in when she blew him off ), it was almost like it was backhanded complimenting in some ways. I don't know. It was a fun movie and enjoyable and I hate to take away from that by overanalysing it. Which I would be doing if I watched it a couple more times trying to pick out the propaganda. It was just a vibe I thought I was picking up on.
ReplyDeleteOh right, the Orangutan movie. I’ve caught bits and pieces of that one before. This actually doesn’t surprise me too much Jim. I sort of lost respect for Clint Eastwood, whom, while considered to be right leaning, actually supports feminism. He also produced that American Sniper film (Which portrayed Chris Kyle in a rather flattering, if not unrealistic light). I might take a bit of heat by the hardcore military types in the audience, but I once saw an interview with that Chris Kyle dude, and I’m sorry, but that guy was a real asshole, not to mention, a complete dumbass. The kind of guy that if you pointed him in the direction of a perceived enemy, and instructed him: “Hey Chris; see that guy over there?” “He’s our enemy, go and kill him.” “Duh, okay, Kyle kill!” Kind of along the lines of a Master Blaster (Beyond Thunderdome reference). Not necessarily a bad thing if he’s on your side, but I still think that I’d prefer to have someone on my side that had some intelligence a little north of room temperature :D
DeleteClint knows how to make movies, though, for the most part. Better than a whole slew of others. Waiting for that one coming up-I think "Mule". At least he plays his age, something most others won't.
DeleteWaaaay back in the 40's and 50's working men were portrayed in movies as being naive to the interworkings of the household cause the wife did her part in working the family and she knew all the tricks to keep it working. Dad's role was to carry the big discipline stick when necessary and offer words of wisdom to the kids. He also took care of the house and car. And worked at least 9 to 5 every dam day M-F.
ReplyDeleteBy the early 60's making fun of dad by the wife and kids started creeping into the picture. Watch some of the old Leave it to Beaver shows and at the end the wife almost always shows up the husband. In the 70's the stupid white guy mantra was really gearing up. Look at Archie the working class bigot, played, interestingly enough by american communist Carroll O'Connor. Archie was little more than a fat white guy angry at the world and put in his place each show by his dingbat wife or he lazy assed son in law Meathead who is still a fuktard. By the time Tim Taylor and Al Bundy got on the screen it was full blooded open season on white doods by everybody. Now, the TV shows with white doods fall into 2 categories, stupid white doods in the private sector, beaten and harangued continuously, and superior gov't employed white doods supported by a phalanx of extremely over competent rainbow everythings. Watching any of it will make your IQ dip quickly.
Right, deer in headlights waiting for the female to come save them.
DeleteJim, the war on white men I saw personally here in california in 1990. I applied for a temp job with the local county hospital. I would not even have been hired for the job if not for a white collar worker in the hospital who put in a good word for me. after working 8 months 6 days a week, never missing a day, getting great feedback from the staff in other departments, I was not even given a chance to apply for a full time job, with benefits. The last 11 people hired were females, mexican, or black. I saw the handwriting on the wall and forced them to let me go (by complaining about unsafe or unfair hiring practices) so I could draw unemployment for a year (while doing other things under the table) Many years later I qualified for SSDI and I took it as soon as possible. I don't expect it to be around much longer so I stay in contact with the folks I can work for.
ReplyDeleteI was up for a Forest Service opening and there were no diversity types living in the area. As a vet I went to head of the list ( and I had the LEO experience-I knew I was the best qualified. They were hiring from the local pool ). They must have given it to a girl or had a minority trucked in as I never heard about it again.
DeleteYes, as I said in my previous comment, the 90’s was when this all really started picking up steam. I noticed that it seemed that just about every other white female out there was landing a very high paying job with ease. Many did not have a college degree, or if they did, it was a useless degree.
DeleteMinorities receive plenty of affirmative action assistance, but it’s generally in the government sector it seems. Government pays decent, and has good benefits, but these govt jobs don’t pay what the corporate jobs being handed to white females typically pay. The oriental dude that delivered our mail when I worked at the electronics company, could barely speak English. How the hell did this dude get such a cushy job? Obviously, the civil service exam was in his native tongue, because there’s no way in hell he could have passed it otherwise.
Honestly, I don’t how a country and workforce that screws over its men, manages to survive this long. I guess it’s all smoke and mirrors (meaning monetary tricks to keep the rigged system going). These affirmative action companies must be operating at a loss, especially with all this #metoo madness, and multi-million dollar sexual harassment, class action suits.
I don't think the companies are operating at a loss from payroll, although of course that is what always gets blamed. Who cares if there are a hundred worthless PC lesbians on payroll costing an extra $200k a month, if you are paying the bank interest at 100's of millions a year? For a loan that bought a worthless competitor. Or was used for stock buybacks. I'm sure you see my point. It has to be mainly painless to pull this crap. No worries, most corps have better overseas sales.
