A Little Help

A LITTLE HELP
I need links to general news sites.  I can't use the one's which have a huge bandwidth hoggish appitite, like The Blaze.  Too many pop up ads, I can't quickly scan and move on.  Time is a premium.  I check Zero Hedge, and Truth Dig, but I need others.  Any ideas?

Please support Bison by buying through the Amazon ad graphics at the top of the page. You can purchase anything, not just the linked item. Enter Amazon through my item link and then go to whatever other item you desire. As long as you don’t leave Amazon until after the order is placed, I get credit for your purchase.  For those that can’t get the ads because they are blocked by your software, just PayPal me occasionally or buy me something from my Amazon Wish List once a year.

  2. Try http://drudgereport.com/ James.

It didn't seem to have anywhere near the graphics, or load times as did the blaze. Some sites offer a mobile version that's lower in bandwidth. You can also go into tools on your browser, and turn off images and pop ups, and that will speed things up dramatically.

  3. Also, I would like to add a little trick (That may seem obvious to some, but perhaps not all?). After loading a page, rather than click on a link, and have to click the back button when done, and reload the whole page all over again, right click and open in new window or tab, whichever you prefer, and when done, simply close that tab or window, rather than clicking the back button. I employ this technique quite often on slow sites, and it really saves a lot of time.
