PAST FUTURE 5
Traditionally, in the
overwhelming majority of all tribal societies during all time everywhere, men
were mostly related by blood and females were mostly imported from
outside. This serves two
tendencies. You fight much more
effectively for family, and females typically bond with any new group. If a gal is married off, she will soon switch
her alliance to the new family ( or, if she is captured during a war, her
natural tendency will also be to re-bond ).
This almost guaranteed the continuing practice of seeking war
brides. Remember, evolution favors the
winning attributes and species survival is not concerned with individual
convenience ( if you believe nurture
trumps biology or if you believe God had nothing to do with evolution,
we are on two totally separate pages and I can’t learn you nothing ). Which means that cultural practices which was
forever practiced by the survivors is indeedily-doodily what you want to
emulate. I don’t give a crap if you don’t
want to die in battle by the age of thirty, or be married off to the victors or
will be banished if you stick your junk in another guys arse. Tough cookies. Your tribe will shortly be exterminated if
you fail to adapt to Best Traditional Practices. And the group that transitions fastest has
the best chance of survival.
*
You think the Japanese are
some racist bastards, intolerant of all outsiders? Why do you think they have such a harmonious
society? It isn’t because they are
communists while Americans are flag waving rugged individualists ( that
propaganda plays right into our Elites hands as each demographic and sub-group
is played off against each other, while each individual is quarantined safely
away so they may not group together to rebel.
Why do you think Southerners are so vilified by the Yankee owned media
and government? Besides being colonized
one reason is their group unity against their occupiers. When Divide And Conquer is applied, surviving
group unity is frowned upon. Perhaps
that is one reason Blacks are rewarded for breeding? To try to overpower White Southern unity?
). No, the Japanese, rather than being
the stereotypical Hive Mind practitioners as depicted are rather the globes
premier example of a tribe successfully transitioning to a nation state. Racism, xenophobia and intolerance helped
them to do that, among other superior cultural practices. Our celebrated Melting Pot? You know, the one where Blacks were enslaved,
Indians genocided, Japanese interned, Germans jailed a hundred years ago. All that wonderful tolerance we showed to
outsiders? A great example of how NOT to
survive long term. Before, abundant
treasure smoothed the bumps of us all being forced to live together ( all to
enrich our 1%. The Slave Trade made more
money for Yankees than it did Southerners.
Insiders profited from recently vacated Indian lands. Corporations benefit from Mexican immigration
as wages are forced down. Etcetera
). Now, in the near future? Friction and strife, guaranteed.
*
Being the first to
decentralize? Of course, your timing can’t
suck. You can’t decentralize now (
although it works well for failed states such as Somalia and Afghanistan, that
is only because the tribes there were already de facto in charge ) while there
is still a centralized oil fed state surrounding you. But once the collapse occurs in earnest, you
must be one of the first ones to be able to abandon State-Centric thinking and
fully embrace decentralized tribal structure.
That means rejecting Second Generational Warfare thinking and practice
Forth. Not just in tactics and strategy
but more importantly in structure and organization. Our government, military and corporations are
so hierarchal that we are fish in water, not realizing we live in the sea. And here is another good dig at feminism:
Girl Power is just another group fighting for Alpha Dog dominance. They can’t see any other way of organizing
than being in charge and dictating to others.
The jingoistic Military Wanna-Be’s are the same. Given half the opportunity they will be
throwing stripes and bars on some and compiling Tables Of Organization. This is all central state thinking, not tribal.
*
By fighting the tendency
at fighting for dominance, everybody
ends up freer. When everyone wants to be
in charge, because Ain’t Nobody Gonna Tell El Supremo Hefe What To Do!, almost
everybody loses. If you can embrace a
much more equalitarian structure, everybody stays free and has a say in group
actions. Back when the
multi-generational family was the norm ( prior to Social Security-thanks for
nothing you crippled hump FDR! ), and elders were consulted for their hard won
wisdom, you actually had intelligent consul guiding the group. The elders weren’t in charge, but since they
were the smart ones to have survived, their word was usually followed. Contrast that to a slimy politician who has
no respect, no wisdom and no followers.
Yet forces us to die in battles that are only to the benefit of the
Elite. Obviously, tribalism is far
superior for individual freedom. The
downside is, every male must fight and perhaps die. At least they aren’t all posers, like the III’ers
and Militia Masturbators. But besides
increasing freedom, it is also what works in low energy surplus
environments. History has spoken. You would be well to heed.

Excellent all the way around.
ReplyDeleteMaybe your best.
Keep it up.
Thank you. I was worried from the smaller amount of comments.
DeleteJim (or fellow readers) - please correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that the German tribes and the American Indians were complete meritocracies. That is, no automatic assumption of power by descendants and you could challenge the boss to a fight if you thought you had support and could do a better job.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally clueless on this aspect. Anyone?
DeleteWe've been watching the History channels "Vikings" series on DVD's and it is worth checking out for the very topic as of late.
DeleteIn one of the first few episodes of season 1 Ragnar Lothbrok challenges the leader and takes him out and assumes his role. Many years pass, maybe 20 or 30 or so and Ragnar is getting old and tired. Attacking England and Paris has that tendency I suppose. In the last episode of the last season he announced he was looking for someone to challenge his position. I know. It sounds weird, why would he do that? But you have to watch all the episodes leading up to get an idea of what's going on.
The show is supposedly historically accurate, as much as it can be, beautifully put together, and the whole everything is so foreign from what you're used to. I highly recommend it. The warring aspects are especially interesting to watch. They certainly were a barbaric people. Not once has the immoral aspects of what they are doing been broached. Next to Breaking Bad, Vikings is the best TV I have watched in a long time. Go check it out. If you're on this blog you'll really like it.
I just watched Hatfields & McCoys on Netflix that was from the History Channel. I had a lot of issues with their accuracy. Not saying Vikings isn't better, as I haven't seen it. Just saying, they might have done better to stay with WWII Nazi documentaries, in a lot of cases.
DeleteWhile I continue to disagree with the logical fallacies in using evolutionary theory to explain human behvior you make a great point about Japan. What many seem to forget is that a "melting pot" must eventually cool. What happens when two incompatible metals merge together? You end up with a weak structure that doesn't serve any function particularly well. You can combine iron and nickle to get steel but what if you through in mercury and plastic just for fun. What are you going to use that hunk of worthless metal for now?
ReplyDelete-Novice
A lot of people have a problem with Einsteins
DeleteRelativity. No theory is perfect or ever complete. Evolutionary biology included. It passes the smell test, for me, as it explains MOST of human nature.
I think the two of you are on to something, but you are missing a vital distinction: between the "melting pot" and "multiculturalism". When was the last time you heard the term WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant)? How long has it been since people objected to someone of Italian descent marrying someone of German descent for being a "mixed marriage"? That is the melting pot at work. It taking the best of all the different heritages and blending them into one, European-American identity. That made our country stronger, like an alloy of compatible metals, like a good soup. Then the idea of multiculturalism came along. People were told to keep their old identity, to not blend in. They even started calling it cultural theft if mainstream society tried to adopt the best parts of a new culture. That is when the trouble really started.
DeleteTo a point I'd agree, but big picture long term as that experiment can't be repeated due to resource contraction, it is better to reject both and be reactionary, embracing Old School tribalism with zero tolerance.
DeleteMelting pot works. Worked for the roman empire, worked for the British empire, worked for the first little bit of the American empire - it even works in countries that are not empires (i.e. Brazil, Caribbean, etc.).
DeleteBut a melting pot ONLY works when all minority ethnic groups are willing to give up most of their cultural baggage and feuds and embrace the ideology of the overarching nation - and the overarching nation is willing to accept some of the new groups cultural ideals while firmly stomping on the unacceptable ones (i.e. that red doors and other feng-sheui make sense to design your home or at worst makes you a little eccentric, but binding your girls feet or mutilating their genitals is NOT ok and will get you thrown in jail, out of the country or executed.),
New cultural ideas that work for the environment are a great thing to pull into your nation/tribe, and new genetic strains can be beneficial as well.
The conficts and problems come when the new minorities refuse to integrate or give up their cultural mores that are abhorrent to the majority (I am looking at you extremist Muslims!) no intermarriage, no accepting of the dominant cultural ideals or features (hello ghetto!) choosing to live apart for more than a couple of generations - then you guarantee a future conflict between the majority and the minority, and eventual civil war of some sort.
So, given that traditional societies are uber-conservative as a survival mechanism, wouldn't it make sense to NOT be open to new ideas so as to negate the chance of what you describe in the last paragraph? If you let the camel get his nose under the tent...
DeleteNah, you need fresh blood of ideas as well as genetics. You just have to be hard-line about it. These are our morals, these are our traditions and culture, don't like it or follow along at least mostly? Get out or die. You have a suggestion for a change? better only be one and you have to PROVE it is a good idea - not just that it sounds good.
DeleteFresh ideas are NOT what traditional societies accept, except military and not even then. There is a reason for that, as they are destabilizing.
DeleteHave to agree with James here, as my own anecdotal experiences would seem to confirm what he's saying as well. As an example, blacks will always see themselves as Africans, or “African Americans” first if you will. And it's always the same across all other demographics (with whites being the exception, and the only ones willing to throw their own under the bus to benefit other groups). To see this philosophy in action, one does not have to look any further than a high profile case such as the O.J. Simpson murder trial:
DeleteYou never met a black that thought he was guilty...
And every single black in the country voted for Obama (okay, a grand total of 5 blacks in the entire country didn't, but you get my point) even so called “conservative blacks” such as Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice. Most groups are simply going to align more closely with others of their own, because it's the most natural thing to do.
To decentralize now, one needs to do a couple of things.
ReplyDelete1) move to a smaller more rural area if you aren't there already.
2) join a couple of clubs and be 'community involved' don't try to run anything just support those that do so unless you are asked to run something.
3) Be prepared to play your future roll in the community.
I, as a very hermit like person, and very busy with building on my junk land outside my local community am not doing very well at these three things yet.
But I try, and I encourage my family and others to be involved.
I kind of got lucky in that I only had to put in minimal social skills with neighbors. My job alone gave me a lot of the above 3.
DeleteI don't have much in the way of tribe here in town, but have others out in the swamp.
DeleteThe city folks, I'd just as soon none even know where I live lol.
Now the sailing community, that is another matter and one other viable escape route from here.
Yes, getting involved with local groups helps establish connections and gives you valuable intelligence.
DeleteI'd imagine there are lots of other crazy dudes out in the swamps :)
Delete"Remember, evolution favors the winning attributes and species survival is not concerned with individual convenience ( if you believe nurture trumps biology or if you believe God had nothing to do with evolution, we are on two totally separate pages and I can’t learn you nothing )."
ReplyDeleteHere comes some rambling commentary...One of the reasons why evolution is an impossibility is it violates the second law of thermodynamics, entropy. Everything is wearing out and grinding down at an accelerated pace. The mountains are eroding away into the seas, which are gradually becoming more shallow. Everything must be maintained or it deteriorates, including the natural environment. As an example, the Indians (feather) that inhabited the Lake Tahoe region set the forest on fire each fall before heading to the lower elevations for winter. They knew if they didn't manage the forest properly that a supercharged natural fire would sweep through that would destroy the ecosystem (which is the situation now throughout the western US). Entropy is also seen in our genetics. There was an article in National Geographic around a year ago where some "smart" guy was saying that in the next 100 years humans will have evolved into something better than what we are now. What a fool, he went and lost all his credibility. Cancer rates are skyrocketing, our population of breeding age has a major problem with fertility, and ALL genetic human mutations seen are of neutral or negative end result, never beneficial. Imagine the scenario of the human eye "evolving". The eye is such a complex (remember what modern microbiology has taught us about irreducible complexity) instrument that if one component isn't precisely located and dimensioned that it won't function at all (interpret as blindness). It stretches the limits of rationality to think that developing humans survived for millions of years while they were blind and self-willed vision upon themselves. Even worse "blind faith" is the idea of how reproductive systems could possibly develop on their own. No reproduction could possibly take place unless the full system was in place and functioning. It's too bad Darwin didn't have powerful microscopes in his day, as he would never have predicated his theory upon the so-called simple single celled organism (which we now know doesn't exist).
I predict within perhaps five years, assuming steady scientific research and study like we have now (an optimistic assumption, I know) that the educated classes will abandon Darwinism en mass (it's already happening) such that when someone announces they are a Darwinist, people will look at them like they now look at flat-earth believers, "Uhhh...Really?"
Peace out
The attributes we have now are the end result, with all the losers like Cro-Magnums and Neandrathals ( I know, spelling ) extinct ( and all those with funky names way before that ). A lot of our physical structures don't make sense by themselves. For instance, more calories go to our brain than our digestion. Our backs are weak from being bipedal. We die easily of exposure. But, those attributes made us what we are now. I'm not saying your argument is without logic. I'm saying evolutionary biology is the CURRENT best tool for understanding.
DeleteOne thing that always cracks me up about the leftists, is how they loved Darwin when they were using him to discredit Christianity. But once we emerged as a hyper-PC society, and his statements with regards to race fell under intense scrutiny, they couldn't throw that old dead bastards body under the bus fast enough ;)
DeleteToo true! Darwin exponentially improved on previous work. Today, after all the other tools added to our kit, we at most marginally tweaked his work. You can't expect pioneers to be perfect.
DeleteI think you'll dig this guy James. His name is James Altucher.
ReplyDeleteWhy Self-Help Guru James Altucher Only Owns 15 Things
“College, he says, is a waste of money. Although he graduated from Cornell, Mr. Altucher argues that the college degree has become a costly luxury in a world where millennials feel like debt serfs and entry-level professional jobs are scarce. In a 2012 self-published book, “40 Alternatives to College,” he argued that young adults could travel the world, educate themselves online and start a business with the same $200,000 they may spend on college.”
“Similarly, he believes homeownership is a rip-off foisted upon unwitting citizens by a $14 trillion mortgage industry. “It’s a total scam,” he said in an online interview. “Nobody should put more than 5 to 10 percent of their portfolio, their assets, in any one investment. But when people buy a home, they go crazy. They put like 50, 60, 70 percent of their net worth into this one investment. It’s illiquid, so when times are hard, you can’t sell it.””http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/07/fashion/james-altucher-self-help-guru.html?partner=rss&emc=rss&_r=0

He's a bit too optimistic for my tastes. And a tad too plain vanilla. But thank you for the links and the thought.
DeleteIf you buy a low cost home such as a trailer, it makes more sense to own it. People need to buy smaller houses if they like the idea of home ownership.
DeleteRenting has problems too.
Less worse solutions.
