2015 crash part 1 of 4

2015 CRASH

Note: Many thanks, S.M., for the first and probably only automatic reoccurring monthly PayPal donation.  You sir, rock.  The rest of you mutts, at least order the friggin monthly newsletter on Kindle.

A lot of economic “experts” making a living off blogs love to run lists to prove why you should be panicking oh, about now.  I hate lists.  When some book or magazine or web site has a list of say, survival supplies, I hasten to skip that section.  Do they think I’m a moron, both for just following their list with little or no explanation and for being unable to pull pertinent points out of a conventional paragraph?  They do, I just know it.  It’s like when your boss is a complete and utter retard but thinks she is so smart, acting like you can’t catch on to the lame attempts at Stealth Humping your sorry ass ( in case I didn’t make a clear and obvious case of being extra hateful and bitter in the last few weeks of posts, remember that it is Friggin, Humping, Anal Spelunking, Monkey Molesting Happiest Whoring Time Of The Year when under cover of “giving” ”charity” and “caring” I get butt probed by all and sundry with ten times the work for barely any more pay with my Christmas bonus the loss of all my vacation time since nobody could cover my shift and now the Uber Boss is retiring and I’m sure as God made little green apples the department boss is going to have her lips firming suction cup fastened to the replacements rectum, spewing poison in her ear how I need to be punished for wearing testicles, even before I meet her [ I can also bet with a certainty that would give a Vegas bookie erect nipples and tingling sphincter that it will indeed be another female boss ] and next year is going to be even worse ).

So you can bet I was happy and relieved when I ran across the book “Brace For Impact” by Tom Lewis prior to reading his blog ( daily impact dot net ).  I love Tom, and believe he is my new bro-mance.  I heartily recommend both his non-fiction ( Brace ) and fiction ( Tribulation ) and of course his blog.  So when he posted an article on the crash of 2015, USING LISTS!!!!, I was okay with it.  That was a close call-what if I had first encountered him with that article containing lists?  Now that Tom can rest easier at night, eternally grateful for being given exclusive immunity when lists were utilized, let’s actually talk about the Crash Of 2015 instead of harping on my phobias and delusions.  By all means, I rather insist, read his article ( just scroll down, it is two or three articles previous ), but the short of it is that the crash already happened and we are standing on the rubble.  I found nothing to disagree with in his article, and it isn’t too hard to believe we haven’t been notified just yet of the crashes occurrence by mainstream media.  Just remember, if you are having doubts on the fundamentals pointed to as bullet points, it is even less complicated than he talks about.  The day credit started shrinking/contracting in our economy was the day collapse was baked into the cake ( you thought I was going to go off on a Peak Oil tangent, didn’t you? ).  Continued next article.

  1. I was hoping and thinking I was your main bro-mance squeeze. I was really starting to like your hair. What a crapper after all that work. I should have know you were sneaking around on me when you posted that Debunking the Defamers of Religion piece in your comment to my comment. I thought about posting a list of something as revenge, but can't think of anything, so you're kind of off the hook for now. :)

I hesitated to show you MY hair, because I wasn't sure if you'd admire it or be jealous.

You forgot. Your new BOSS will not only be Female, but a Lesbian minority to boot, unless your neck of the woods doesn't support that demographic.

    1. Mostly gold digging whores here. Not sure why their aren't more carpet lickers. Perhaps if I went to the community college...Sorry about my fickle romantic nature. Quickly bored, easily amused. Nothing personal you understand.

  2. I had to dash off a smart ass reply earlier, before I read his article and now that I have, I concur 100% with his lists. One thing about the whore called Wall Street that wasn't mentioned , was how much Fed money is in it propping it up. The "Plunge Protection Team" (Sorry it should be Multi-Plunge Team In the Rear without lubricant.) has bought massive amounts of stocks. Haven't heard anything about them selling their positions or unwinding anything. This was another sneaky way to inject billions of dollars into the system. So these counterfeiting, Ponzi scheming sons of whores have to know what they are causing. I almost doing, but that may have confused some into thinking I was saying they were competent. This is why if you do have any money, you should have Gold/Silver as a hedge (Notice I didn't say INVESTMENT). I know, I know, food first. Beans, Bullets, Band Aids and Bullion, in that order.

    1. Hell,if you had money I wouldn't imagine you'd be reading this.

    2. Why not? It's a good read. I guess is depends on what you consider Money.

    3. And you left out barns from that list- after all you need a cheap place to live and store the rest of the B- list...

  3. The crash has indeed begun, I don't think it has *finished* falling down though- we still have such safety nets as disability and retirement and even food stamps for the recently unemployed. Should the GOP finish their takeover of the legislative and executive branches though, they will start stripping out those social safety nets - if the democrats instead take back all their losses the government will prop those up and even try to unsustainably expand them - while cutting back on the armed forces (at least as far as enlisted soldiers though pretty shiny unsustainable tech solutions may be embraced).
Either way the next 3 or 4 presidents of the USA will be the ones riding the crash into the ground.
The crash can be slowed maybe, or mitigated, or a really wise and smart and well coifed leader could take charge (would require suspending congress and the supreme court, and probably declaring martial law) and do the smart thing to get our whole nation into mode to prepare for a sustainable future. But he would probably live just long enough to open his mouth, so stay a survivor and don't run for office Jim (though if you do I would vote for you).

    1. The ingrate whores wouldn't appreciate how I was trying to help them out, so screw them. Let 'em go down with the ship.

    2. JJ. The Army is cutting middle management. Bunch of Captain getting cut. My Son is somewhat worried. He had good OER, but you never know points wise were they will cut. They did this stuff even during Reagan. I took a three month early out back in 88.

I agree on the social programs. One thing though. As long as people except dollars, then there is no reason to cut them. They will just create more. I think GOP TPTB want to keep the illusion that the debt can be paid back. I love Rand Paul, but he toots that debt horn all of the time. I want to tell him, give it a rest, it doesn't matter anymore.

    3. I agree. 50 60 years ago a Paul in office, or enough similar fiscal conservatives could have saved this countries economy. That point definitely passed though when the bakken boom hit, and was then allowed to go bust. The oil industry here still limps on but it is no longer growing the way it was. And that was the last real source of growth for the US empire.
I am not surprised to hear that they are cutting 'middle management' in the military, the new paradigm is to have nearly flat organizations, lots of people at the bottoms reporting to a handful at the top with little in between, as information technology allows for more direct communication and centralized control - supposedly... Also it is the middle management that tends to be the most conservative politically, the highest ranks get there by knowing how to be politicians who know which side the bread is buttered on, and the lowest ranks get there by being unable to find other legal opportunities for career in the real world economy. I would suspect most of the remaining middle ranks would be college educated and new to the positions they take to repay the college loans. Once they repay the loans, they and the military will probably be happy to see the last of each other...

    4. My son tells me the Corpse is having a heck of a time retaining NCO's. The money certainly is good so I imagine anyone with drive and intelligence soon leaves the military, leaving mostly just those with drive. So, yes, just a bunch of politicians past the one-termers thinking they can get an education/training in the military ( suckers ).

  4. What a cool minion James. I buy through your links, and send the occasional donation, but wish that I could do more. I've certainly received more enjoyment from your writing than I have donated. Saw your excellent comment over at his site, and I've bookmarked his blog for future reading.

"I found nothing to disagree with in his article, and it isn’t too hard to believe we haven’t been notified just yet of the crashes occurrence by mainstream media."

I think commenter Bill Hicks, over at Tom's site gave the best, and probably most obvious answer below James.

    "Bill Hicks wrote:

The real question for the 2016 campaign is whether the illusion of prosperity can be maintained for another 11 months to allow Hillary to squeeze in and give us four more years of sellout Obamaism before the roof really caves in politically, circa 2020."

    1. Any donations are more than enough. I'm just glad for every minion that is generous. Generous is based on ability, not absolute dollar amount. And I'm a pretty cheap date.

  6. I agree with you about lists. Where I shake my head is when folks write whatall should go in a bug-out-bag. Too much to carry without training.

A female boss? I've mostly had bad experiences. I forget who wrote it but I thought it was succinct and profound that I copied the comment about women thinking they need to work,

"They would rather have a crappy job with vicious coworkers that provides them money to spend on frivolities than a humble home domain where they rule and experience the joy of children."

    Keep up the good work.

    1. I don't blame women, per se. We are all cultural/herd animals and the paradigm was changed on us to reflect consumption priority. I do admire those few who can buck the trend.

    2. How very true! Cultural/herd animals. I think there are vast social trends sweeping the world and only few question how sensible these things are. Perhaps you can see this because of your - earlier - abject poverty.

      Delete
    3. I still have similar failings. I spend money insanely on books and anything prepper related. I can tell myself it is more practicle, but it is still unbridled consumerism.

      Delete
    4. Consumerism is better than leaving your money unspent under a mattress, or worse in a bank. Either of those options guarantee you will end up with almost nothing of value for the labors that earned you the money in the first place.

      Delete
    5. Oh, granted. My point is that while the lesser of evils, consumerism still leads to mental traps.

      Delete
    6. But surely there is something we can buy to get out of consumerisms mental traps! ;-D

  7. Hawaii real-world collapsing news, with charts. CHS often makes a bunch of sense.

I wouldn't want to be a middle-aged Haule on the Islands when any number of big-bad-things happen permanently there. No domination by my tribe (smart-ass redheads), skin cancer, imported everything, bugs, wild marijuhana, militarily strategic for the whole Pacific are just a few reasons why "not Hawaii".

    1. I like Chuck, and admire what he has done. Not many can live in CA and vacation in HI on a writers income. Of course, even though his news is of the collapse, and I read him daily, his sunny optimism shines through nearly every day ( the above article one of the few exceptions ) and makes me want to shoot a blood clot out of my ass.

  8. “I love Tom, and believe he is my new bro-mance.”

At first glance he seemed alright James, but I was instantly turned off when I read his post pushing the “Gore warming” agenda. It's not as if I believe that man isn't having any kind of detrimental effect on the environment, because I know better, but I simply can't get onboard with the “science” backing it. That, and a few of his other posts have resulted in my removing his site from my bookmarks.

As far as his take on fossil energy predictions, he's probably pretty accurate in that regard, but you're already much more knowledgeable in that area than most people anyways.

    1. I share your view on man made warming. Weather change, sure. But yes, way too many otherwise intelligent writers are pimping for Al Gore. Yet, I read them because even if their paradigm is incorrect they always offer some insight or other. Survival Acres guy, Cassandra's Legacy guy. I don't read a lot of them because they whole movement is a time sink but a few stand out.
