Okay, so, in theory, The Donald, Orange Man, Forrest Trump, is just like any other politician ( of any political party ) and peddles lies ( sweet little lies ) to placate the plebs ( and also the plebes-but those are OtherColor and OtherGender idiots, so that is far less work. I'll save you the trip to the dictionary I had to take. Plebs, lower civilian classes. Plebes, military academy pukes ). We can assume he is just a lying liar from Liarsville. This can be evil, like FDR and stealing the gold and pretending it will save the economy, or excusable such as Kevin Bacon in Animal House ( “All is well! Remain calm!” ).

I like to think he is serving a almost noble purpose and trying to keep the system from imploding quicker. As much as we wish and hope the collapse would hurry up and just get over with, we of course have to keep in mind that isn't what we really want. Ghetto's will empty, as will our own grocery pantry and magazines ( as in military equipment storage facility, not as in a delivery and storage mechanism attached to a firearm ). Some fun will be had with delivering karma but other aspects such as starvation and disease are the price to pay for that.

Think of it this way. If we know the truth and can prepare, then it actually also serves us that he is lying to the idiots that believe him. Thanks, Donald Dude! More supplies for us, cheaper, and less petty crime as the crackheads don't panic for a last minute rock candy smoothie. Just what is up with crackheads? Anyway, by implying that he is going after the evil Silicon Valley Tech Films that are censoring Bad Think, by playing the 'Ol “anti-trust investigation”, the Optimistic Ollies are hoping that Political Correctness is being dwelt a body blow. Well, first, ShaYa! As if. The very next day I hear that theory, YouTube starts a whole new round of suppression and demonetizing. And second, you heard the whole “these firms being investigated lost billions on the stock market”. Facebook and Google were under investigation years prior, and that didn't stop their stock from reaching insane levels of “times X amounts of total global GNP”.

Of course, there is the danger of immediately trying to analyze this event. In a few days, after I write this but before you see it, the stock just bounces back and I look like an idiot. That could happen. I won't know because I simply refuse to follow the market, being so manipulated. But I don't think that is the point. I think just the attempt to camouflage the in process economic collapse is worthy of note in itself. Perhaps it will get you questioning everything else you hear, a very good thing.

Of perhaps more concern is the tariffs on Mexico. In theory, as punishment for letting through illegals. I wouldn't have a problem with this, as I'm all for dumping the cost of operations on other countries to save me as a taxpayer any extra grief ( I know, you pay more for products anyway. It is the philosophy I agree with if not the results ). My problem is that this brings up the question of “is this a disguise trying to paper over food production declines?”. I'm not necessarily panicking over the mid west grain planting fiasco from flooding. But that, plus a problem down south?

Again, this is conjecture. I could be way off. I'm just saying, what IF this is why he is lying. Mid west flooding, PLUS other food prices rising? That would be bad news. I can see pork going up in price, as the flooding plus Chinese disease outbreaks should jack that up. All meat should increase some, from less grain ( in no way am I proposing a famine inducing drop of production ). Gasoline and ethanol was already an issue. Sweetener cost will increase. But nothing out of the ordinary. Yet, if fruits and vegetables are increasing in cost, NOT from tariffs but something else ( and tariffs are camouflage ), I'm a little worried.

The stock market got into trouble, and then, “just coincidentally”, we hear about a new antitrust investigation which the drop is blamed on. Could be true, or it could just be camouflage. If the coincidence seems too good to be true, I have to wonder if the same is true with Mexico. I HOPE, fervently, that this camouflage is for auto parts, to be used to disguise the auto industry implosion here, and NOT about the fruits and vegetable we import from there. Because that could imply a more global issue with food. Which is much scarier.

With cars, no big deal. Most families have two workers, or more likely one and a half worker, and three cars. Lots of inventory there to coast on. With less jobs all the time there is less need for cars, going forward. But food? JIT inventory. And almost no reserve. You saw how quickly the rice shortage affected everyone. Then, the global drought/flooding closing down the wheat supply shortly after that. And that was with ten years worth of LESS population. Got Wheat?
