POLITICALLY CORRECT REVOLUTION
For the longest time, I ignored most articles about The Coming Civil War, or about how all our glorious AR ( with FLIR ) owners would smite evil communists, or how the Left were socialists and how socialism is super uber bad as witnessed by Venezuela, or how Whites would seize the day. I mean, it is all such utter claptrap, such ill thought out arguments. To the point it made my teeth itch. Petulant children who lost their toys are angry and want them back, but have no desire to do this themselves and instead go dropping a dime to Daddy.
*
Whining about your Second Amendment rights doesn't secure those rights. Gun owners have been crying into their beer for nearly a century as one after another anti-gun law was passed. And they never did a Gott Damn thing about it. Yet, we are to believe that they will actually man up and rebel really soon, Honest Injun? Obama did that, with his infamous Red Line In The Sand, constantly talking tough and doing nothing. Gun owners are just like their favorite immigrant Muslim president. Is that not a bit sad?
*
Our generation of White males did nothing to stop women's lib, or unlimited immigration. The older generation did nothing to stop socialism under FDR. We only have ourselves to blame, as we did nothing. Me talking tough on a keyboard? What good does that do? It is just a bit of fingernail on a chalkboard, a bit irritating, and solving nothing and convincing nobody. As a group, Deplorables ( White or not ) think themselves rather clever, cackling among ourselves over how smart we are and how illogical They are. And we change nothing as we feel better about ourselves.
*
And in the meantime the irrational Left, stewing in their own contradictions and agitating themselves into furies over semantics, losing any moral high ground, still control, contain and eliminate us easily. They control the government, military, the media, health care, corporate jobs and “our” alternate voice the Internet. In turn, we bleat in righteous indignation. As we busily support the financiers of our controllers, the bankers, by making car payments and having three decade mortgages. How many of you complain you can't change any of this?
*
You mean, you WON'T change any of this. You don't WANT to change any of this. Am I any better than you? No. I shouldn't be supporting Google with my content, or relying on Amazon for my wages. Are our actions excusable? Of course they are. We are no longer the majority. Chinese communists fund Hollywood, so it doesn't matter if we boycott the movies. Dick's Sporting Goods remain in business even as gun owners ignore them. The NRA stabs us in the back, so we get it from both sides. ( You HAVE joined the GOA, haven't you? They don't lavish your donations on the Directors office, like they were bankers during the TARP bailout ).
*
I've said it plenty of times. Decentralization. You must maximize YOUR own preps and not expect to make a bit of difference at any higher level. You can't change your company, your wife or extended family, your city, state or federal government. The time that voting changes anything is way past. Boycotts or business support or voting buy you mere months of reprieve, if any. Grand scale, it is time to stockpile the ark, man the gangplank with booby traps and hide out while the world drowns. I don't expect nor do I advocate for you to do anything to jeopardize your own safety.
*
However, having said that, the odds are that you won't be able to hide in peace waiting for the die-off to conclude. I certainly would love for that to be the case. And it COULD be. Things might just be so rotten that at the first significant shortage or disruption everything could go tits up. If the 2008 collapse almost took down the entire world economy, and that was only a few bad banks-few being relative-making a few bad bets and THIS time everyone has followed suite, one can almost be excused for thinking the economy could take down everything with it all at once.
*
If the whole world relies on JIT inventory for everything from water to food to transportation to electricity which coordinates all of that, in theory it COULD all fall apart worse case scenario. I only do not plan on that for fear of being far too optimistic in my planning. In planning, pessimism wins. I'll bet my buried years of wheat against anyone's closet full of months worth of freeze dried. I'll bet my hundreds of battle engagements with a bolt action against anyone's dozens worth on semi-auto.
*
But assuming someone is actual competent and was hired on merit, yes, ASSuming, and the enemy has the time and resources to attack, is your default rathole hide sufficient? Unless it is a hermitage, I'd wager it is not. And even if it IS a hermitage, perhaps not. Because even most hermitages must return to town to stockpile. Because, what is THE most common feature of communist governments? Yes, I agree with the militia porn stars, it is gun control. We might be pussies historically unable to defend our rights, but do you think the commies will accept those odds? Of course not.
*
We WERE fascists. Look at the federal government from after the War Of Northern Directed Genocide Against State Rights Advocates until after the Vietnam War. The government protected corporations and both were financed by the banks and it was a cozy little arrangement. Until the energy supply contracted. Then we headed in the direction more akin to communism ( but a unique American Empire hybrid emulated by our colonies ) where we abandoned nationalism and embraced Animal Farm. Before, the poor were still peons and cannon fodder. But the difference was ideology.
*
Before, you lived and died for and were rewarded by the nation. Now, you did so for The International. In that aspect, not the silly “socialism evil because it ain't capitalism” paradigm, we have turned communist. Whereas the nation was populist and militant and armed, our communist regime has no need for martial valor or its instruments of war, and gun control is a very real threat now. Communism is feminized control and war is only allowed to the technocrats. Social control through peace and hugging trees. If you huddle in your hole and wait for them to come collect, they will succeed.
*
In this case, gun control will work if we remain passive and argumentative rather than if we act. If we act, there is no contest. But if we don't act QUICKLY, all is lost. But that presupposes we have the will to act, this time. Continued tomorrow.

  1. Following. I acronym (like those godly redoubters with acronyms for every common phrase or quote) "P. C." As my own personal reactionary response as "personal compound". Just as your apt description of stocking one's Ark and pulling up gangplanks, I have been "forced" as a defensive measure from the assorted and many various P.C. assaults to nearly go Galt and disconnect from greater society and those bondage inducing systems. It is a challenge to be a full certified Ted Kazinski type and be fully self banished to a hermitage for life. (One can dream though) If a Minionite can eliminate say a rough number of 25 system and society PC ailments and debilitating items down to just 3 to 5 mandatory necessary type of interactions (power, water, commerce trading, basic medical, etc) then they will fare a much better chance come collapse. Being weaned off in advance as much of that hopeium and reality blurring system influences before the collapse is much better than racks of flir guns and freeze dried unicorn scrotums in the bunker collecting dust. I will guess that just being a good all around generalist in the Bisonia hinterlands, will "TRUMP" those specialists in blue hives with all that baggage and ankle irons inhibiting clear thinking and mobility. Stay upon the path, Stay Frosty.

    1. Even just going partial hermitage is a big advantage. Dipping the toe in so the water isn't as cold.

    2. re:
      the 'Kaczynski hermitage'

A couple years ago, somebody asked "Are you working on your manifesto?"

I instantly knew the dogs and I were too near the city-folk.

I instantly knew we needed to move out to that place everybody automatically presumes everybody else is working on their manifestos.

      Oh, yeah. That's the ticket!

    3. It hasn't gotten to that point here, even with the legions of Cali Immigrant Yuppie Scum. Here's hoping it lasts ( knock on wood ).

  2. I agree. I do not expect any sort of 'Merican uprising or protestations as push back against PC abuses or gov't. and globalist usurptions, any time soon. The Media and comms platforms systems are compromised. Government, leo, and travelers are entrenched and only want to play pocket pull with themselves until retirement vesting is achieved, not to serve or help you in any way. Power water and ample food is flowing so no real push to get off the comfy couch and depart from the nifty big t.v. movies and vid gaming. The occaisonal rent a mob and protests that occur don't even qualify as foreplay, usually lasting a day or so and limited to a few quarantined blocks. (Big deal, unless a city is shut down needing troops dropped in it ain't of consequence) I assess that only the glowing night skies of burning cities (plural-many) AND accompanied hungry bellies will be the only "bat signal" to activate those milk toast folks to put on that specially set aside "patriot panties" and go actually do something.

    1. Since hungry bellies and fear of hobo rape are about the only two things to motivate folks, you have to wonder if any food shortages from the midwest floods won't be covered over by gov subsidies. Hmmm. That might be an article.

  3. So, Pugsley saw that I'd watched Aftermath on the movie history . . . now watching it again.

Planning for the possibility it all falls apart? Like father, like son.

No. But at the time it was purchased, 13 years ago, we thought it was. The heinous "creep" has caused me to reconsider. I wish we were farther out - but I don't see that happening. So we knuckle down in place.

I have all the guns and ammo I'll probably ever have (cep
t maybe an 80% lower and supporting parts) and a fair amount of food and other essentials, so we're not too bad off I guess. Could always be better. So I keep my eyes peeled for ways to improve.

I do not like being under tension all the time and it seems the only relief is when I sleep. I need to turn these nerve wracking electronics off for good and get back to a normal existence and maybe my blood pressure will self lower. But I'm like a moth and a flame. Plus, this endless deluge of daily all day rain imprisons me inside so that these glass digital windows are my only escape from jail. Happy Fathers Day all!

    1. I'm right there with you. Eleven years ago, it was the perfect rural retreat. Now asshole to elbow ( just one idiot paying for a power pole and...). And I also am too addicted to the e-teet. I did give up YouTube though, which I consider a major win in the addiction ( article coming up on that ). At least it stopped raining here.

True dat. Tough is as tough does, not what tough says. IOW, show me, don't tell me. Even my phone's spell check/auto-correct is PC-pussified; it kept trying to change the word 'tough'

    1. I'm just as bad as anyone, perhaps worse. So, the above is a reality check on myself as much as anyone. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
