CULTURE COLLAPSE 2

All my young adult life I was always hearing and reading about how our collapse was being caused by an eroding culture.  Thanks, Hippies! Because you scared all the straights and squares, I was subjected for decades to the gasping conjectures of pundits and politicians, publishers and professors.  They are fornicating without the churches blessing, and we shall be smited.  They divorce without the churches blessing, and hence our Gomorra shall be smited.  They bed men with men and hence the End Days are upon us.  Of course, this speaks more of Americans Puritanism and God knows why sexual hang-ups compared to almost everywhere else than it does accurate biblical Armageddon, but it also bespeaks of a culture disintegrating.

I was busy soiling my diapers at the time so I can’t speak from first hand experience, but since we know the dying grasp of church power was centuries ago this couldn’t have been a reaction to the population moving away from the bosom of religion.  It wasn’t JUST about the sudden shocking introduction of contraception ( how many weddings were performed far from a whole nine months of the birth of the  first child, as a matter of course, historically?  Except for the upper crust that had treasure to protect, the norm was quite busy rutting and fornication between healthy young adults, damn the consequences.  Contraception just brought that out in the open due to lowering the consequences ).  Bitches Power was already starting to be encouraged, as was non-White immigration.

You always need to back up and take a look at The Money.  Follow Da Money.  Peak Iron Ore was in the Fifties, which was most likely the start of our economic decline that only finished up with the ’70’s Peak Oil, decoupling from gold and Arab oil embargoes.  The Hippies might have descended from the Beats but nobody would have gained traction in a society safely embracing an economic boom.  The short and simple of it was that a prosperous economy doesn’t reward deviant behavior that would endanger that prosperity.

You notice how today the elite are funding the leftist Politically Correct crowd?  Why do you think that is?  Far too simplistic to suggest that it is a nefarious One World Order plot of communists.  Good gravy, how long is that boogieman going to be used to control us?  And it isn’t the Evil Jews One World Bank.  The banks are barely staying in business, hardly the actions of a powerful cabal.  Just as in the 60’s, the targeted agitators are funded until the desired action is achieved through protest and violence by the crowds and/or politicians.

You get Black equality pushed through to divide and conquer.  You get women in the work force to dilute wages and kill Unions.  You get fuzzy foreigners to divide and dilute.  There isn’t a lot of difference today, except the Rinse And Repeat strategy is doomed and delusional, an elite action reeking of desperation.  What difference between now Black Lives Matter and assorted ilk, and then Black Panthers.  Yesterday’s Women Power and today’s mythical glass ceiling?  It is the same old tired crap, funding cultural discord to fight economic decay.

Yesterday, we could afford to fight a conventional war to combat the economic decline.  Which just emptied the treasury and boosted the protest and cultural decline.  It was the first time in a century since the War Of Northern Colonialism that fighting a war hadn’t helped the economy, but in fact hurt it.  Today, we throw debt rather than taxes at fighting a war and nobody bothers to protest or care, and the treasury was already empty so it matters little.  Plus it barely effects our resource base other than oil ( which is in fact making consumer demand decline less damaging.  Damn, I wonder how much that factors in to keeping the war going? ), since we are fighting a forth generational war ( granted, with tanks and helicopters, aircraft carriers and overseas logistics, just as last time, but the scale is oh so much smaller.  And we draw down inventory rather than push the production lines faster ).

But sowing discard isn’t the only reason Political Correctness has been loosed upon the land.  At one time, yes, I would argue that was probably the primary reason.  Keep the masses busy with anything other than recognizing the true culprits of their declining living standards ( not the root cause of the collapse, resources and population, but the group that grabbed more of the shrinking pie so as to cause the 90% to lose more and more of the wealth ).  But today, being PC is also a great fit for the collapse.  The same reason the Uber Idiots are in charge in business.  The reason hospitals kill you for profit.  Managing resource depletion.

Think about it.  If a doctor saved as many people as possible, he would be using more resources, resources that simply aren’t available.  There is no evil intent or centralized plan.  It is just a response to contraction.  If there aren’t enough doctors available for surgery, you use pills to manage a health issue.  Forget that pills mask symptoms and kill you themselves, the response to less surgeons, or surgical procedures skyrocketing in price due to malpractice insurance ( which were in turn caused by insurance industry profit contraction and education standards being lowered by lowered profits and etcetera ), is pills being the better than nothing solution.

When everything is dependent on an infrastructure that is failing, failed policies being adapted are merely responses to failures outside your control.  Lawsuits are in response to a glut in lawyers, lowering law school standards for higher admittance due to school profits diminishing, which causes insurance profits to flounder which causes prices to skyrocket as doctors are taught to make no mistakes by being extra cautious which leads to higher insurance costs as more procedures become Cover Your Ass, which raises insurance costs which encourage less doctors to go to school which lowers the school profits which lowers medical training standards which makes for more mistakes which encourages more people to become lawyers.

So you try to fix one problem, say, capping punitive rewards, which leads to less lawyer profit, which forces lawyers to file more lawsuits to make up the lost profits in volume, which makes the demand for lawyers increase as it appears that with all that suing going on here is a great career, but the increased demand for lawyers places infrastructure costs onto colleges which are too high due to all the other entities supplying that infrastructure raising their prices in response to such things as rising liability costs due to an increase in lawyers, and the school is sued for not being racially equal due to the number of minorities not allowed in due to a lag in infrastructure increases…

And you can see how this just goes on and on and snowballs.  Continued and concluded tomorrow.
