because we can

BECAUSE WE CAN

Every day we are all exposed to an insane amount of blather, bloviating, chatter, background noise and useless utterances.  We used to call it the mainstream media prior to that arm of the government surrendering any pretext of impartiality, or the alternate media prior to the unemployed attempting to raise ad revenue without reporting anything useful ( prior to that it was UNDERemployed at least having some link to hobbyist tendencies ).  I won’t even dignify the existence of Facebook or other “social media” who as a group don’t even share the few positive aspects of unmoderated commenters.  If you took the lowest IQ in a room full of special education kids and stuck a funnel up his ass, the noise that erupted would trump anything anyone comes up with on social media.  It will be a cold day in Hell before I ever participate in that simian circle jerk.  Anyway, enough sugar coating my feelings.  Amidst all this distracting background noise it seems to be lost on most people that you are surrounded by hostile forces, that you are besieged.

*

I’ve noted this before and have never received much in the way of feedback, as if it were the most natural thing in the world and nobody can conceive of any reason I have for even commenting on it.  It is legal for you to be held indefinitely, without charges or trial.  A very simple one sentence summation of the rule of law, the structure of our government and the guiding principle of our system.  Everything else is window dressing.  In effect, we can do anything we want, whenever we want and we do it because we can.  And for of you still thinking this is a democracy?  The fact that this announcement was met with overwhelming silence, a silence so universal that if it was made in Yankee stadium you could have heard a mouse break wind, there is your public vote.  The consensus was, we could give a crap about the Constitution ( not that I think much for the document which was a federal power grab, but it is important to observe just because so many others feel like they should be protected by it ) or our rights.

*

Semi advocates bluster about how their red line in the sand is the ownership of their preferred mechanical action of a firearm, and go on and on about concealed carry laws and standoffs in Oregon, yet seem to have lost sight of the fact that they lost all rights, already.  If you don’t even need to be charged with a crime, when you no longer are allowed a trial, when your life can be canceled without review or reason, you are already humped.  Nothing else is protecting you except the fact they don’t know you exist.  Why are you even paying attention to all the confusing noise signifying nothing?  Why do you care if Trump is an insider or outsider?  Why do you care who the president is?  Do you think your preferred party will save you from death in the event you are arrested?  A prison sentence is already a death sentence if you are White, regardless of how minor your transgression.  It has been that way for over thirty years since the AIDS epidemic.  Since the War On Drugs overloaded the prisons with ghetto members.

*

But that wasn’t good enough because now after the court systems exploded from too many lawyers, the overflow is handled by rubber stamping “national security” on the case and away you go.  Who knows where.  It could be any fed pen, foreign nation host prison or a bullet to the back of the head with a shallow grave.  There is no accountability.  The only reason the court systems still exist is to pacify the idiots out there who think they have any rights left.  Plus, it is really profitable for its employees.  And why do they do it?  Because they can. Because, Hump You, That’s Why.  I’m as guilty as any of you, perhaps more so, as I whine like a little bitch over all the injustices.  Not just from the federal government but from the central banks and the elites corporate entities.  It is okay for the drug companies to kill us off like Jews in Nazi Germany, and in return, if caught, they pay 1/10th of 1% in profits as a fine.  No one goes to jail.  It is okay for three or four companies to control our food supply and force feed us GMO slop and give us obesity and rectal cancer and there is nothing to do about it.  The banks can take your money at will.  The money in your wallet is able to be confiscated at will, for the infraction of using the highway.

*

And none of that matters, because you no longer have a right to your life.  If the feds can arrest you and disappear you, no better than a South American 1970’s dictatorship, why shouldn’t all the other entities empowered by the feds not be allowed to forfeit your life also?  It is all quite logical, just like when you joined the military and they deemed you federal property.  Don’t damage our property by not taking care of yourself, by acting in a dangerous manner, yet if we want to waste our property in battle that is our right.  The same rule now applies to all civilians.  No other Rubicon Moment could be clearer than when they announced owning your life.  It is no longer theirs only if you screw up.  It is theirs now, if they so wish it.  Period.  They can institute another draft, break up families and ship you off into dangerous forced labor ( just like the Jews or the Blacks ).  They can do anything they want.  Because when they announced you were no longer allowed any rights, you went along with it very peacefully.

*

Now, I’m not just bellyaching about how corrupt and dictatorial our government has become.  It was that way for a hundred and fifty years now.  Old news.  What I am telling you, and God how I can hope against hope that you are paying attention, is that now that they own you completely and you consented to that, you can count on NOTHING anymore.  The contract has been broken.  Everything you learned growing up is null and void.  You are no longer rewarded, or at least avoided, if you follow the rules.  The government is NOT there to protect you.  If there is a natural disaster, the government doesn’t have to rescue you unless there are cameras present and they feel like playing the hero, and even then they just outlaw the camera’s content if they don’t wish a recording of you being butt stroked for failing to die peacefully.  The government came right out and told you, hump you.  We owe you nothing and you owe us everything.  They are beholden to nobody and you must do as you are told without hesitation and even then they might just kill you as a lesson and because they can.

*

The government came right out and told you that they are not beholden to live up to their end of the contract ( the contract was, you consent to be governed and we protect you ).  We wash our hands of any responsibility.  If our bridge falls into the river while you are on it, because we spent repair money elsewhere, so what?  We did it because we can.  And what?  This stuff is really easy.  You have a mafia don move into your neighborhood.  He gives you mandatory protection for 20% of your wages.  A tax.  The protection is for his enforcement cost and against outsiders intrusion.  It keeps the peace, by force.  Then, one day, he tells you if anyone pisses him off he’ll pick a random person and kill them.  After they paid the protection tax.  That was us awhile ago.  That kept any protests down.  Now, the don tells you nobody has to piss him off, he will just cap your ass out of spite or entertainment value.  He’ll do it because he can.  That is us, now.  Welcome to Little Italy but without the good food.

*

And any of the Don’s friends?  They are free to hump you or kill you, for no reason.  This isn’t a call for justice.  This is a call for you to stop playing by the rules.  Why are you working hard?  There is no job security anymore.  You can be laid off without cause other than profit seeking.  Do you think they’ll be afraid to take your Social Security away from you?  Old people can’t riot very well, and you are easy to round up.  Why are you seeking the governments permission to be married?  They just change the rules on you afterwards ( rewarded for being female and cheating, the mortgage interest payment tax break rescinded, etc. ).  Why are you investing in a motor vehicle?  At will, they can stop protecting the sea lanes and we lose most of our imported oil and you are no longer allowed to drive.  Why are you basing decisions about the future on the rules of the past?  They no longer apply, and the government made no effort to hide that from you.  It was broadcast widely.  When you get screwed you only have yourself to blame.

  1. Wow! Where in the Hell did this angry rant come from?!?
What recent event in your life or in the country of the USofA cause this to be written?
By the way I prefer the Fuck word over Hump.
Have a fantastic day in Elko.

    1. Not sure why this article was written. I probably just read something really stupid that got my blood boiling. Fuck is a much better conveyor of meaning, but other than in fiction I've always tried to show restraint. It is kind of fun, stealth cursing in public amidst the women and children.

  3. Aren't you little Miss Sunshine today, LOL.

Very good post. I hope folks read this and ponder. Once you accept the reality of your environment, the easier decisions become.

There were several incidences that helped me wake up as a young twenty-something year old:

    1) The Supreme Court upholding the legality of the forfeiture law. That's when I realized that the government didn't care about the rule of law. It was just about force.

    2) The first World Trade Center attack where the MSM refused to even speculate that it might have been caused by a bomb. They wouldn't even say the word "bomb" for the first few hours. That's when I learned that all MSM has been bought and paid for and will only report what they are told to say.

    2) Watching Waco burn. That's when I learned that 'We the People' means nothing. The goons will kill you as soon as look at you. And they'll give the goons medals for doing it.

(And don't even get me started on Ruby Ridge.)

Best to keep your head low, stay out of sight of the Eye of Mordor, prep like your life depends on it, and as Ol'Remus likes to say, "Stay away from crowds".

    1. Ruby Ridge showed, in retrospect, admirably restraint. Waco, not so much. So, RR was the last of the "good times". Sad.

    2. I was listening to a Podcast and the guy said that there was a spike of suicides post 2008 Wall Street Crash (caused by white collar criminals). The measured number above the average exceeded the number of US Servicemen killed in Iraq & Afghanistan AND 9/11. IOW those white collar criminals were more successful at killing Americans than anyone armed with guns, planes or IED's OR in the case of Iraq Army (tanks, fighter jets, artillery)

    ====================================

Probably the most important thing you have ever written, or anyone else has ever written. In history.

Yeah, that's a big claim but what's more important than a persons life?

For 15 years now I have lived with the horrifying memory and knowledge that people you have never met can bring total annihilation to you for no reason at all except for existing and there is nothing anyone can do about it. If you manage to get in the crosshairs by no fault of your own you are done. The only question is how done.

There is no reasoning with the tyrant state and it's millions of robotrons, only complete compliance. Most people don't realize the depth of the insanity this rotten assed gov't operates under, they only know what they read. It is far worse than most people can imagine.

  7. Off Topic

I'm thinking when there's a bit of notice something is on it's way (natural disaster or whatever scenario you prefer).

So what I'm thinking is that if you have a chance for a last minute shop. Just take the bags at the self service counter. They're not the best bags but they're free. Good for #2's or disposing of rubbish.

The staff aren't going to stop you or if they say anything you can tell 'em it's not worth their job.

Heck, you can start stockpiling them now and not be so blatant about it.

    1. I'm a fanatic about stocking those plastic bags. Even got some good unused piles from the Food Bank. You can never have enough.

      Delete
    2. Every month or 3 we hit Wally and stock up on whatever essentials are still decent deals there and the result is a plethora of those bags.

While the cashier is bagging the stuff I am grabbing the bags off the racks and sitting them in the cart. As I grab each bag loaded with stuff I grab beyond the edge of the bag and latch onto a sheave of unstuffed bags at the same time, and when we get home there are 4x as many bags. Yeah I'm a thieving dik but I heard from a reliable source (the manager of a wally) that the bags cost about 1/2000th of a cent, each. So my *haul* is less than 1 cent and I don't feel so bad. lol

      Delete
    3. If I had the balls I'd do more than steal a few empty bags from them, as the thieving bastards jam a dildo up my ass and break it off every time I buy from them. They deserve bankruptcy.

  8. Preaching to the choir, I know, but I think the point you are making speaks to all the "we're the best country God made ever in the history of the world" crap. Our civil liberties are a thin veneer pasted over a government that does as it pleases and makes no apologies for it. Shiny toys and unlimited TV programming to enjoy, plus a smug sense of superiority over the rest of the world- most people will take that as a bribe and look the other way when there neighbor gets renditioned to who knows where. "Oh well, it wasn't me."

  9. The government (of any nation) is not the friend of the citizen.
    Period.
    End stop.
The best that could be said about a government is it steals less and damages the liberties of its citizens less than other government.
So far the US Government has been mostly circumspect about damaging the liberties of its citizens. But it keeps taking bites out of the rights on the "legal" front - like allowing the assassination by drone of US citizens, imprisonment without trial, etc. I think the big "fake news" outcry is being orchestrated to see if they can take away the last aspect of that whole "free speech" thing - once they can control the speech they can control the thoughts. They already took away or made toothless almost every other right except that one and the second amendment- they would have already completely taken away the first amendment completely if it weren't for the internet. But TPTB are run by mostly older folks which is why they don't have a firm grasp on how to handle the internet (yet).

    1. I think the Internet will be handled much more simply. Jack up the cost, stop subsidizing so it goes all commercial. Kind of like when they made being a gun dealer more expensive-everyone dropped their license and you had no more home garage dealers. Or, infrastructure falls apart so fast the Internet becomes the old dial-up speed and everyone drops due to lack of interest.

  10. i am counting on what i hope is a fact-- 'they' don't know my family exists.
now that the usa gov't. is an outright dictatorship we are all liable to become desaparecidos, with no warning.
i don't know about the deafening silence you perceived, but what could be said or done about what gov't. has become?
now that the last few generations of pubic school 'students' are adult, the gov't. will have no trouble filling its ranks with those who will kill obediently, even their own grannies, if told to do so.
