HAIR OF THE DOG 2
When I strongly suggest you stop humping around and prep, I’m not implying I have any insider information that leads me to believe The End Is Nigh, The Horsemen ride or that Malthus’ Nightscape Is Here. They are, obviously, and have been, but I still cannot guarantee where in relation to the cliff we are on the waterfall collapse. I’m certainly not saying, divorce the whore, ditch the job and cash in all savings for preps. Not that it wouldn’t be a good idea, but that isn’t my point. The point is, drop the collective.
Again, I’m not saying get divorced if the wife won’t prep. You could. Because SHE will, at the first sign of severe financial issues, I can guarantee you a jelly filled donut. If you beat her to the punch, liquefy and hide assets, you might end up better off economically. Definitely you’ll improve mentally. Quick test. Do her actions prove she hates you? Yeah, it ain’t going to improve-just get worse. But divorce or not, you need to stop focusing on the collective and pull in your focus to the immediate family or friend circle you either want to save or that can help save you.
We just got done with voting, right? Now is the perfect time to discuss that time sink. Every politician lies to us. The last great president, my boy Reagan, God bless him everyone, still was a bit of a dick. Now, he at least had a saving grace. He sold out to the financial interests, true, but I believe he was genuine in his battle against the Doctor Evil Empire, the Soviets. If you had to bribe the bankers with deregulation to save the economy and then use it to defeat the Russians, fine.
I’m not blind to the issues underlying the problem. The US, it is my belief, armed the Russians with the nuclear knowledge so that they could “force” us into a Cold War, keeping the US economy buzzing with military production ( all that insanely stupid high California real estate was about 90% defense contractor money flooding in and 10% Sunshine Tax ). Russia was largely a boogieman. Not that WE wouldn’t have started the nuclear war. It was just much better odds with them out of the competition, as it were.
So, even the great politicians are liars, because no one gets in for free and no one gets to rock the boat unless they want a Magic Bullet lobotomy. Now, please tell me again why you are voting? Whatever excuse you just used, allow me suggest that you STOP. Stop giving aid and relief to the enemy. Do you even know who the enemy is, anymore? If you cannot identify the enemy, the odds are pretty good you are already a zombie, stupid ass be lurching around not knowing you are already dead. The enemy is EVERYONE ELSE! They just want your money and your time, for now.
Later? Only your rapidly cooling corpse will satisfy them, very soon. By doing ANYTHING that supports or legitimizes or funds anyone else, you are funding your enemy. Not voting is not playing their game. That is a miniscule example, to be sure. Your vote doesn’t count, and it never did, not when all politicians belong to the Imperial Party and nothing you demand will be adhered to. But if you did vote, it changes nothing and makes you feel all funny on your private parts. Little harm done, right? WRONG. You are focused on the right hand as the left hand bitch slaps you.
Kissing the bosses ass, even though you know eventually you’ll get laid off? You are focusing your energy on the enemy. Now, I know I hung on to a paltry paycheck way too long. I’m not smarter because I went self-employment. I’m a dumbass for waiting this long, trading a few bucks for declining health. The worst thing was, besides the stress induced health issues, I didn’t even realize how unfocused working that job made me. I didn’t realize the mental focus I was missing, because it had been normal all my life.
Perhaps you cannot quit work. Not all of us can. I never had much skill myself, other than in drudge work and lots of it. I could think of nothing to do to earn a living outside an employer. You might be just like I was ( it took me DECADES to write worth a crap-I had zero native skill in it ). So what else can you do? Stop worrying about other people. Seriously. Stop worrying about their world, their drama. A politician can only screw you, not help you.
The friend of a wife that hates you should be allowed zero impact on your life. Being friendly with folks at work you don’t exactly like? Why? Are they paying you for that crap? Taking work home with you? Worrying about bills? You are losing focus on you, for the benefit of other people. If bills are stress, get rid of bills. Yes, Spanky, it actually IS rather simple. Suck up the pain, bitch. The wife won’t “let” you? If you are not wearing the pants, she will eventually leave you for someone who does, anyway. DAMN! I just got me another jelly donut!
The job keeps demanding more and more? So what? STOP. Just start to say no. Document all unreasonable requests you deny, to protect yourself. Even if you get laid off, at least you might still get another job. I know, to laugh, right? Well, let me just say that Being Someone’s Bitch, in a job or at your own home, means you’ll REALLY be someone’s bitch after the apocalypse. That is all you’ve practiced, right? Saying Hump You, and being willing to take the consequences? Much better On The Job training. The point is, reduce outside forces draining you.
All of THEM! They are agin you. You and a select few are the only ones afor you. Change what needs changing to weed out those outside evil forces. You might think the pay-off, actual focus, is a small benefit for uprooting your life. But it is the only way you wake up and realize how dangerous it actually is out there, and understand what needs doing to counter that. The incessant chatter all around you, those thousands of voices demanding attention? They keep you in a state of confusion, and definitely UN-focused.
Not to say you aren’t aware now. You are. Nobody else willingly slogs through my drivel every day otherwise. By focusing, I don’t necessarily mean more aware. I mean the mental energy to far more readily counter the outside forces. You’ll have the energy to protect yourself better, without all the distraction. If you are an introvert, you’ll enjoy withdrawing from society and their needs. If you are an extrovert and for some bizarre reason must interact with people, may God have mercy on your soul, you’d better learn to prioritize and minimize their demands on your time. De-clutter your poor brain. It never did anything THAT bad to you.
( Hormones don’t count-your brain was high. Roofied on Date Rape drugs, only wanting to get laid ). Getting rid of the cell phone and any social media is probably a great start ( but…but…that is how I communicate! Get an e-mail account and a land line. Sweet Jesus! If you are not a brain surgeon, you aren’t important enough or there to save lives to have a cell phone. Hump your phone! ). Less interruptions, less Other People’s Problems, less White People Problems. Living life faster doesn’t always mean better.

I have a cell phone. It is a tracfone and I never turn it on unless I need to call someone. Do I qualify???ReplyDelete
Yes, you qualify as a brain surgeon :)Delete
Select removable battery model if possible. Remove battery in non use or at a.o. or compound. Recharge off site at work or fast food joint etc. Store in all metal cookie tin. Use one time pads and coded words with messages. Let the BORG grab all the other lunchmeat citizens first before getting around to finding you. Just saying.Delete
I haven't encountered "lunchmeat citizens" before. Translation?Delete
I just made it up this morning while having my coffee and typing it out. Similar to the term "easy meat". Military tears up an inferior enemy. Team destroys an opponent. Etc. Applicable to the normie casualties post apoc. Use freely, no extra charge.Delete
Not bad at all. Here's hoping it will stick to my brainpan.Delete
Jim, this one has brilliantly described me and my current station. (unemployed, decluttered bigly, stoicly independant, clear headed discerning thinking) If Minions do not check off and accomplish most or all descriptors in these articles, they will become a casualty statistic. Which is actually only a number posted somewhere if someone else cares, and gives a shit about them enough to make them or their corpse a topic or subject. Otherwise they are just a biological going back to the dust. Plan accordingly.ReplyDelete
I'll never get to that decluttered part. Personal apocalypse warehousing. You know the drill. Save phone books every year, old bike wheels for the spokes, old socks and underwear for rags or if nothing else to use. Can't say it is the optimal solution.Delete
Probably at least are at a mad scientist level. Not a hoarder program on t.v. or storage wars rat packer.Delete
Hmmm. I could go for being a mad scientist.Delete
Hey Lord Bison,ReplyDelete
I have an observation to report from the Hurricane Michael (named after Obama's wife?). After volunteering there for 2 weeks with the recovery, I saw the Bison contraption (A bicycle) being used in the black, section 8 locations before the gas stations had reopened. Did not see it in the white sections of town. I am planning to buy a bike for when the big one hits here in
Would it be rude to suggest that the bikes all came from the White section of town? :)ReplyDelete
Not rude, accurate. Bikes were used heavily in wars by military and civillians. Make visual note of third world countries in the t.v. news clips. All small thrifty motor scooters, small econony motorcycles, or bicycles. Better than ox or donkey carts. P.S. western women won't make good load bearers either.Delete
Women are already good load bearers. Look at all the Bic Mac Ass hauling they do.Delete
Only when dangling a box of fries from a stick in front of them.Delete
Okay, LOL, fair point!Delete
Good stuff Jim. All of it. And true. You've done well, warrior. But I believe it will not be decipherable by many. The training is deep, too deep in most cases.ReplyDelete
1. Your parents were trained and started your own training.
2. Public schools deepened the training over the longest most influential period of your life.
3. The gov't-media complex continues the training in millions of ways you can't detect.
All 3 can be over come, mostly, but that deep initial conditioning from your youth will always stick with you to one degree or another and requires constant vigilance.
As a grown adult, breaking free from the "employment" mentality is the primary key to achievement of mental, and physical, enlightenment. By being employed by others you are handicapping yourself in ways you can't imagine. Like putting a rock under the gas peddle. You'll never get up to speed, not even school zone. You're stuck in the parking lot.
Ever read Rands book, "The Virtue of Selfishness"? It's a good place to start. A healthy dose of Lysander Spooner is mandatory as well. Both are free online for the serious-curious.
Read both in my military enlistment period. But I was too young and as you say, just out of indoctrination, and had no wisdom and they only partially stuck.Delete
Without co-ordinated cooperation nothing big ever gets done. If everyone worked for themselves the pyramids would have never been built :)Delete
If most people hadn't been slaves, you mean. Hey, there are periods demanding sacrifice and coordination-most of the time. And times that call for the opposite. Like when a die-off is coming and no matter what you do there isn't enough resources. So you hide out and only look out for yourself. You can't wish resources into existence, yes?Delete
You mean those big things way over there, that you have to spend thousands of $$$ to see in person but first you have to ask a fleet of people for permission?Delete
I built my own.
Anyway, being self employed doesn't necessarily mean lone wolf. I've been SE since 1986 and have coordinated with thousands of people. The diff is that I get some say so in the terms. I worked for 33 employers before self employment and it wasn't until I broke loose from that prison that I started realizing freedom and all it entails.
Without co-ordinated cooperation nothing big ever gets done. If everyone worked for themselves the pyramids would have never been built :)Delete
All I'm saying is everybody working for themselves is an impossible dream without a 99 percent pop. Reduction.Delete
And even then working for yourself equals extremely hard labor. You know, like when the average lifespan was 50.
Horesedrawn plow and all,no internet for you to make a living from.
Self employment is a hard row to hoe. I only did it after I just couldn't give two wet farts in a rainstorm anymore. I hope that attitude stays with me as income dries up :)Delete
That’s true, at least for me, regarding self employment. But if your income requirements are low, then you are in a much better situation to be self employed. I could have easily sold stuff on Ebay and got by, but I’m only responsible for myself. Sometimes you can get lucky and can find a seasonal gig, that pays well enough to get you through the year. I knew a guy one time that worked for the county doing the mosquito abatement thing. He only worked in the spring, and every year he got called back.Delete
Right, if your income requirements are unrealistic you might as well just stay in a corporate cube.Delete
Do you believe fingers-crossed your vote is counted?
Read SUPERMOB by Russo.
This extremely-annotated tome explains in detail the behind-the-scenes manipulation of every aspect of American lives.
Why The Great War? Profit for bankers of a particular religion. They rolled this profit into...
Motion pictures and radioprogramming. Persons of their religion were never identified as religious, nope. They adopted Caucasian-sounding names.
World War The Second? Those funny-looking Asians in California owned too much property and business, so they had to go to camp. Bankrupt property and businesses acquired for peanuts. The lives ruined? They aren't 'of the religion' so they are disposable.
Politicians? Judges? Bureaucrats? Lotteries? Their every move inflicted incredible hardships on The Masses while adding billions to the war-chest 'of the religion'.
Every entertainer. Sinatra. Reagan. Monroe. Irregardless of stature or demise, they were owned by the elite of this particular religion.
Harry Truman. Nixon. Carter. Every politician at every level, owned.
Movies such as The Godfather series. Mis-direction.
The Hollywood studio complex known as DreamWorks. Spielberg Geffen Katzenberg. Billionaires times many dozens. Nothing gets made without their stamp of approval.
About half of SUPERMOB is documents copied from public records. Every page has notations.
You. Don't. Matter.
"of the religion". Priceless! I've never heard it put so delicately. That is class.Delete
I will NEVER sanction others to rule over me, ever.Delete
As Spock would say, "It's illogical".
Others rule over you, but it is benign. All you have to do is to keep bribing them. I think the new problem is by trying to violently re-program us into PC GroupThink, they have taken the bribe part off the table and are demanding meek compliance. The violence should get real, quick.Delete
“If you beat her to the punch, liquefy and hide assets, you might end up better off economically.”ReplyDelete
Considering that vagina is your Kryptonite, you sure give some good advice on women :D But absolutely, should you find yourself in this precarious predicament, you should have plans for when she hits the eject button. A cheap piece of junk land wouldn’t seem likely to be an asset that her attorney (paid for by you in most cases) would come after. Stock that puppy with plenty of food, clothing and shelter, because after your child support payments, you’re probably not going to able to afford a conventional abode. You have to find a way to finance it on the side. Small, unnoticeable increments of cash, or under the table side jobs are a good way to finance this plan.
“I could think of nothing to do to earn a living outside an employer.”
Same here. The trick for those of us without skills, is to find that elusive, low key job. It’s not easy, but we’ve all had one at one point or another. The caveat being that generally, they don’t pay very well. But squirrel as much money away as you can regardless, since you never know how long that cool job will stay cool. Shoot for at least 6 months living wages; more if possible. Tom Leykis refers to this as an “FU fund”, and every man should have one of these.
Like most people, I give advice better than follow it :) No, seriously, I learned after being raped by Baby Momma. Even if V is my kryptonite :)Delete
Do what you do now, for others, cept do it for yourself.Delete
Don't quit the job, yet.
Do you self employment stuff on the side, nights and weekends. Yeah, if you want more you have to do more. Or just continue to punch that clock and be miserable.
Then, in time, you'll see you're making more money and have more job satisfaction with your side work. You'll also observe that your full time job is limiting how much money you make with the side work, so you'll cut the full time job loose. Then, untethered, you'll soar. It starts with attitude. Most employed people have shitty attitudes and never break free, consumed by their bitterness.
Regarding the ho. You should be stashing coin to where it can't be found. Off the books. Cash.
There are lazy preppers, but I doubt few here qualify to replace effort with money. So we all know how to work hard, and long. Age should be the only thing limiting your quest for self employment if that is what you want to do. Yeah, I think the bitterness is universal. It used to be you had a boss that knew what he was doing. Now? Why wouldn't we be bitter about underpay overwork and incompitance?Delete
Make no mistake, that situation will happen even if you are in the current Shangri-La of relationships. Every seven years seems to be the re-evaluation period. Don't take anything for granted.ReplyDelete
I should know, because I lived it. My relationship was amazing and hellish at the same time. Amazing romance and unbelievable mindgames and neediness and control. Bleah, never again. But I did plan ahead, I did have a backup plot for such an occurrence . I did camp out, I had food, water, firewood, tools. I lost the crapper car when it died and I had the bike with the carrier on it. I had several bikes and crap mopeds, old motorcycles, and anything I could fix myself from the 70's, used them all. Even kids bikes modified to allow a 225 lb grown man so I could stash it in the trunk of a compact when need be or sneak it onto the bus in a tall duffle. This experience has become a great training tool for when it will be all-out survival. You find out what you are made of. You learn about what is really essential. It is harsh , cold, lonely, unforgiving, but we have been living in the bubble of oil production, but a large percentage of people ALWAYS live like this. Think about the CA fires. Whether they are real or mad-made, the rich and poor alike shared in the misery. Can you imagine being mortgaged to the hilt and losing it all in those fires. Those snowflake families are gonna get a taste of what its like to be number 50 in line at the soup kitchens. Maybe they wont be so smug about all us more frugal folk. Maybe itll humble them. They need the humbling. But Im not perfect. But living in this tough survival situation I started to not feel sorry for myself. I got hardened , including listening to James' description of pulling out from all haters, takers and energy leeches. They don't deserve your energy. But you know what? That Psycho gal gave me the best gift she could: that of finding myself. I learned who I was again. That realization was worth more than gold. And I learned I could never again be that malleable, forgiving sap again. Sure, I could forgive my parents or my kids, but another Psycho? no, never! So , be smart and listen to Bison- he is very wise even if in a condescending way. Some of us need to hear it that way / How else did your Pa slap some sense into you? Maybe, if you aren't a snowflake you got smacked and thrown down by him in a drunken stupor, but it made you think, eh? The fan is blowing, the crap will be upon us momentarily- not much time left!. So man up. Find your junk and get to work!!!
Bitches and Ho's do give the gift of Real Life. Not that I wish it on anyone, but it is the gift that keeps on giving. I can thank them, and the military plus the odd boss for completing my university degree. Not that the hate ever really burns less bright, decades later :)ReplyDelete
Sheer genius. An amazing post (really). Even your hair was perfect for this one.ReplyDelete

I have my moments, thank you. We won't talk about how rare they are :)ReplyDelete
