getting obvious

GETTING OBVIOUS
Western Rifle Shooters Dudes had a piece up, “things aren't getting worse, they are getting obvious”. In other words, things were already this bad, we just didn't acknowledge it until they shoved it in our face. The governors were always as obnoxiously inept and power hungry. People were always this stupid about protecting themselves. They've wanted to disarm us since at least 1917. Our jobs were never as necessary as we wanted to believe, and they force us to work them, or take them away, as they deem fit.
*
The rich used us as disposable profit centers long before 26 million newly unemployed happened at the same time the straw bosses just made an increased 10% in wealth. Bill Gates wanted to kill you from a very young age-say, about eight-but the UN was trying to kill us with vaccines long before he was born. I tried to tell you about Jim Jones, the CIA and measles vaccines in Africa, but you just rolled your eyes and told me to take more prescription meds. How does that theory sound now, as Corona Chan makes you her bitch?
*
I never disagreed that we are useless eaters. I only questioned the way in which we would be killed off. I'm still right about a bio-weapon. That didn't do squat. JIT is going to kill a few hundred thousand times as many people as Beer Virus did. And Peak Oil is going to kill off many more than that. WhhaaaaAAAA???? But Jim, tankers full of crude parked off the ports. And milk is calories if you can get out into the field and lap it up like a dog, before it soaks into the ground. Oil doesn't provide energy if it is left in place from lack of drillers and drivers.
*
I'm not trying to say “I told you so”, because I always knew I was right. I don't know crap about almost everything. But what I study, I go overboard on and devote years to it. You obviously know very little about energy and civilizations, because you still think we have a chance of recovery. You still think terrorists are a bigger threat than our own leaders. Whatever you do? I have no idea about. This is what I do. All the things breaking right now? They were all the crap keeping seven billion of us alive. Ponder on that for a few minutes.
*
As time goes on it becomes more and more obvious this is about the lamest flu in history. And the worst economic collapse since we started burning carbon fuels ( a bit of an overlap, the weather and crop failures in the eighteenth century touching the infant coal powered industrial revolution, but not enough to negate the generalized statement ). We are going to collapse with oil still in the ground, because we didn't have enough to keep up the levels of consumption normal in the past. The levels of consumption fueling the infrastructure. Banks don't collapse after they run out of money to loan, they collapse while everyone owes them money.
*
But the economic collapse isn't even the concern. It is the cause of greater failures. Like, eating. Societies don't get to choose to not feed their people, and still function. In a tribe, with unity and loyalty born of survival, a famine is survivable to a certain point. In a multicultural empire, there is no unity or loyalty. Sure, some folks shared their toilet paper and went to the store for old crippled humps. Because they think we'll recover, and they will be judged according to the old standards. They don't realize the panel of judges is one guy, named Darwin.
*
I don't know what the stores look like. I haven't been there in awhile. The NOL is picking up her own prescriptions as she has to also go to the bank ( Orange Man check, tax return check, renters checks, draw down excess ). I haven't heard of any panic runs. Because no one wants to be the new TP Guy? Perhaps they are already out of money? Still eating from fast food places? Burned out on Worry & Stockpile? Every person failing to panic a little now is the next potential mob leader.
*
Forget all the theories about how we got here this year. It doesn't much matter ( unless I'm bored and want to ponder it ). All we need to know is that transportation has proven to be broken. That isn't a theory. All the supply chains are broken, and that has broken the domestic one as well. The vast majority of people live in urban hives and much of what we have is a centralized food system. We don't even have butchers in the grocery stores anymore, because it cost a little bit more to pay a professional rather than an illegal alien.
*
The giant meat processors must have seen more money in Beer Virus Checks than in cutting meat, and closed down under highly suspicious conditions. They probably understood their customers would be seeing supply disruptions so there was little point in staying open. After all, how is the centralized animal factories going to make a go of it as vet meds from China are no longer shipping? I wonder if that right there was the straw on the camels back? Our guys saw what happened in China last year as the meds ran out ( over there, from widespread disease. Here, from lack of imports ).
*
The more you look around, the more obvious it becomes how dysfunction our system had become. If we recover from this economic calamity-we won't, I'm certain, but stranger things have happened-I would suggest we all get the hell out of all these dependencies and go back to homesteading. Not the lame ass middle class, being in debt homesteading. The peons scratching at poor grade dirt living in a hovel homesteading. This dependency thing ( and we are all guilty, even if just gasoline for the homestead truck, with YouTube income relying on the Internet ) was a lot worse than we admitted to. It should have already been far more obvious.

  1. Related to the elites desire to kill us:
I haven't seen any ChemTrails in a month. I am in North Carolina.

Everyone else...do you have ChemTrails now?

    2. Same here down in Texas. I didn't really notice until I happened to look up at a plane and it's rapidly dissipating contrail. Hey, the sky is blue once again!

    3. That is just from major decrease in air traffic in the skies like the highways are very lightly traveled. The air force cargo planes that would transport the spray equipment have been reassigned to move the elite 1%ers treasures and goods to pre positioning points, for their r&r locations during spicy times. They plan, you plan as well. Stay frosty.

    4. How bout that, airlines pretty much stop running and all the so called chem trails are no more. Aliens I tells ya

    5. The way folks in Vegas are so damn crazy, I think the alien craft from Area 51 dump all the chemicals there and never get a chance to dispense it elsewhere

    6. 9:26-ha! I like that one. You can buy hookers and blow locally, but you need heavy craft to transport your gold bullion and Nazi looted paintings.

    7. ...not all of us in s. Nevada are crazy. Close, yes. Nicely written, not a 'happy' read; but a necessary one.

    8. Crazy from living in that heat? Perhaps. But I don't blame everyone who lives down there for our political situation. Just 99.9% of them. I used to live in Tulsa. Never voted locally, but I'm sure most of the rurals hated me on principle.

    9. difficult isn't the word for the heat, brother! Most folks around me (Boulder City area) are old and retired. A lot of old school retired military - and we look at politics and the young fools around here as 'entertainment'. And many of us joke when we get those robo calls about the "plan to help with our tax debt"! Hilarious. We have a "plan" as well, much different than theirs.
It is not home, this is but a chapter, that ends with me in Montana this summer. I was raised by farmers, on dairy farms in Wisco. I'm old now, and it's back north to my beginnings. Be safe and be blessed, brother. And thanks again for the essay, you done good!

  2. Wow Bison,
You hit the ball out of the park. You scored a
double touchdown and every try for your Rugby team.

I started my own reading/"research" due to evidence
of local (big city) corruption. That of course led
to study of the lake vrs. the pond...and eventually
to the world. How many "taxpayer funded" .gov agencies
are there? The evidence is in our face now. Looting.
Looting is the key word...theft and murder are close
    behind.

Natch one wants to warn/enlighten one's friends. The
universal response from highly educated types was to
demand I stop talking about this stuff because it was
too upsetting. "I have enough stress without hearing
about these rotten theories". And they all continued
with the home loans for remodeling and buy second homes
    in Florida.

I split. Used my savings to get an old farmhouse in a
tiny community. Main pod. Damn dog barks at 130 decibels,
but otherwise no particular noise. One siren truck a year.

People don't get it but military tech is being used on
US people and that will increase. Satellites are beaming
and smart phones are too. Never had a smart phone and
never will. Do have wireless (via phone hook up) which
prob. is just as bad. Whatever.

Of all the assaults against the people the one I actually
hate the most is the grey-white tarp over us killing the
sunlight/drone spraying. Makes me hopping mad or tearful...
depends. The coming food riots will be worse. No sun and
no food. I must learn sprouting and learn it quick.

Your unshorn locks must be spectacular. An Adonis in your
own right. You rock. Smart. Smart and great hair?
    Unbeatable.

    1. Learn sprouting, sure. But just in case, learn regular gardening. YouTube has a bunch of "planting from the veggies at the store. I worry about the seeds though. Perhaps that only works one time. What about raised bed, greenhouse those local edibles you get in the wild. Specific for your area, hardy, your improved soil should give bumper crops.

    2. I have had success growing potatoes from the taters that were parked to long in the cupboard. When they start to grow legs, just cut them into quarters so each one has some legs and plant. I take cloves of garlic from the store and plant them after seperating the cloves. They will breach the ground in less than a week. Months later you will have a big bulb of cloves.

    3. Suzanna, you can connect your computer to your modem with ethernet cable. Then find the ip address for your modem, and turn off the wireless using your computer screen. If you can't find the ip, you can call your service provider. The 'wireless' light on your modem will be off. Much safer.

      Delete
    4. Read that the chem trails are heavy on aluminum which ties up nutrients in the ground so crops cannot access them and so grow poorly
All ties in with starving us, among other harms

    5. Let's not go too far down a rabbit hole if it isn't necessary. Poor farm soil is more easily explained by abuse, poor practices and long term compaction and pollution.

  3. Ya, peak everything...malls, restaurants, big box chain stores... a whole lot of non-essential convenience.

I'm reminded of a couple of songs:

"They paved paradise and put up a parking lot" Joni Mitchell

Now this a.m. it is logan's run. The high command must be signalling to us, mentally programming deplorables for spooling up. I better leave the radio on all day so as to receive my "john has a long moustache" code wording messages. Better to pay attention to the rustling leaves than to be ignorant of things and be struck by a falling tree. Stay frostiest.

  5. After the 2008 crash it was BAU for some, but not others. Same thing on a bigger scale this time, but some will still have BAU before long. It’s just if you’re on the wrong side of the divide then no more happy motoring and shop til you drop. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t still exist, just not for you. The supply chains aren’t broke, they are just narrower. I hear people screaming about an imminent collapse of the food supply- bs. We’re still awash in food in the US, just with fewer choices. The inner spoiled child has been revealed all over the doomasphere. We still have it really good in a lot of ways. Check out life in the Sudan lately.

    2. Knew a guy from deepest Russia
      Worked on the big farm
Said there was always plenty of food and they all ate well but there was no distribution so people in cities went hungry
Said if a tractor broke down it stayed broke down for a long while because every request for parts had to go through Moscow so there was no quick response

    3. Every time I have been in a grocery store it has had a crap ton of food, just a few precious sections bought out. Eat what they have in stock and you have all the macronutrients you need. Or I could claim the sky is falling because my favorite cut of meat and my favorite side dish are out of stock. I have much food stored, not counting on the supply chain, but it is far from broken. Caution is called for, but the batshit freak out end of the world stuff is out of touch with the actual state of affairs.

    4. A month and a half ago, the stores had almost no food. So you could take either example. My freak out is based on paranoia. Yours on optimism. Which is better as far as prepping? I'm not saying you are wrong. I could very well be. I HOPE I am. But everybody lies, remember? We cannot get the facts, not even just the facts. 2. Good question. The governor of my state, which has a significant tourism sector, basically canceled summer - no parades, festivals, concerts, etc., and beachgoers will need to make reservations - not sure how that one's gonna fly. If there is a shortage of fireworks, I'm okay with that. Seen plenty in my lifetime, and it would be quieter in my neighborhood if the jackwagons can't obtain as many fireworks. They shoot them off late at night, starting weeks before the Fourth, and several weeks thereafter. I wondered where they got the disposable income, since it's a working class neighborhood.
