MOUNT CORONA
If you enjoy history,
nobody makes it more interesting than The History Guy on YouTube (
don't watch the Cynical Historian, as that hump is a Yankee Scum
apologist ). One of his latest is “1815 Eruption Of Mount
Tambora”. His short video had better, more up to date information
on The Year Without A Summer than the books I have on the subject.
This is important, not because “volcano bad, volcano Yellowstone”,
but because small events have drastic consequences, which this video
shows very well.
*
I encourage you to
watch the video, and I do want to caution you that I only watched it
once. So just take the following as general highlights. In a lot of
instances I need to view subjects multiple times to do it justice.
But, having warned you, I'll repeat a couple of things, then get on
to tying that into today's happenings. First off, the Year Without A
Summer was the NEXT year, after the eruption. The particles took
time to dispense and block heat/light. But new research shows that
there are more immediate effects and the eruption might have had an effect
on rain which impacted the battle of Waterloo.
*
This is one of those
“for want of a nail the kingdom was lost” deals, the kind of in
depth history I love. The next year, a lot of immigration took
place, New England the most impacted by the colder weather. This
pushed populations into Iowa and Indiana, altering voting which
impacted laws inflaming tensions leading to the War Of Northern
Aggression. One gentleman who headed west founded a little religion
you might have heard about, the Mormons. His visions occurred after
the move. And then there is the tale we all know about, Mary
Shelley's Frankenstein written during the cold summer spent inside.
*
But Lord Byron also
wrote what some consider the first vampire story, at the same time.
Believe me, History Guy does all this material better than I. It
does show that natural disasters impact empires, religion, pop
culture and migrations, to name just a few. I won't call Gore
Warming drought a cause of Europe being OtherColored, that is just
politics and banker greed, but instinctively people know The
Butterfly Effect and so bought into the lie. Just as they bought
into the lie of 9/11, gleefully trading in the last of their freedoms
for less security.
*
One night, I'll be
“disappeared”, a Nazi round in the back of my skull in a shallow
grave, and all thanks to a nation of sheep lapping up the horsecrap
fed to them by the federal government ruled by the bankers. No one
wants to question anything, least the coming reality be too much for
their snowflake asses to accept. Humping pussies! Good Lord, I hate
people. Oh, and if you believe Ice Age Farmer, a LOT of pork is
headed to China right now as our shelves are bare ( you know,
speaking of hating people ).
*
I believe I mentioned
food being sold to China as we starved, long before Beer Virus, did I
not? Yes, why yes, I must toot my own horn thank you very much. You
can take your fracking fanboy bullcrap, your Optimistic Ollie
delusions and your MAGA Orange Man-love, roll them all up in a tiny
ball and shove them up your ass. Not that I'm bitter. Anyway,
relatively small events ( it was only little brown people at the
explosion site, right? They'll breed more as a replacement ) end up
altering history, and I think we can all agree that this economic
collapse, now erroneously called Black Corona Death, is going to be
one for the history books.
*
First off, we are going
to see famine, here in this country. I still cannot believe people
think we are in the 1930's, destroying crops during a Dust Bowl
because we have too much. The Abundance Myth is so widespread 97% of
my minions still buy into it. And my minions are more hard core
survivalists than almost any other set of prepper readers. And yes,
that 97% figure is based on scientific calculations ( I'm almost sure
). Hating communists and hating White people, that does not start
civil wars. Famine sure does though.
*
All you hobby gardeners
and “country boy will survive” types, get ready for Boogaloo.
Because you won't be able to feed yourself off the land. You are
going to have to depopulate your area, AND steal food. And the
slower you are realizing that, the quicker the enemy comes close to
victory. So you better stop being squeamish about racism and
violence against others. I assure you a jelly filled donut, your
future enemy is at this very moment EMBRACING hate and plans of your
vicious demise. They were already trying to replace you, way before
Beer Virus. If you don't believe that, I have a Safe Space on a
college campus I want to sell you.
*
Of course, don't JUST
focus on race. Every pasty white swinging dingus out there NOT of
your tribe will want to kill you. I only focus on OtherColor threats
because they were already against you economically and politically
and were already engaged in a full blown guerrilla war against YOU,
and for no other reason than the color of YOUR skin. Goose and
ganders, bitches. I've said it before. This isn't about BBQ, or an
abundance of a luxury economy allowing us a surplus of tasty dead
animals. This is about the LAST domino in your food supply.
*
All other calorie
sources are in short supply. Rice, wheat, pasta, dairy, legumes,
potatoes. Meat now, and that leaves exactly WHAT, pray tell, you
shove in your pie hole? Wendy's cannot get hamburger now, and so how
can we still use the excuse “the schools and restaurants closed and
so the distributors couldn't send those supplies to the retail
grocers”. Wendy's just proved that lie. The newest lie is “meat
packers”. Oh, I have no doubt that there is an element of truth to
it. It just takes a ten percent or twenty percent failing in JIT,
and the system breaks down. What I'm saying is, they are still lying
about something.
*
I still think it is vet
meds not shipping in from China, but freely admit I could very well
be wrong. But it would explain why the animals are still being
hauled to the dump, after supposedly, Trump ordered the meat
processors to stay open ( I wasn't sure about the whole “he made it
voluntary thing” ). Don't make the mistake of thinking “if this
were a conspiracy, how could all these people keep the lies quiet”.
Look how long it took before the inflated death count on Beer Virus
was uncovered. And even now most folks don't believe it. Money, or
the threat of its loss, can gag a lot of people. So can “national
security act”.
*
If you are a farmer and
the feds tell you to shut up about why your animals are dying, or
they will arrest you under the Patriot Act, are you REALLY going to
be a whistleblower? Everyone knows about Guantanamo Bay, renditions
and Super Max prisons for Patriot Act victims. Only the idiots still
think we have Constitutional rights left. And I don't think farmers
ever had the luxury of delusions, in general.
*
I didn't REALLY veer
off on a tangent from volcano's to tinfoil hat history. Beer Virus
started out from such a tiny project to fix an immediate problem, I
would definitely call this a giant cascading world changing event.
I'll continue tomorrow.

note: I still read Cassandra's Legacy, but more often than not I skip that weeks article as he has shown to be a Greta Groupie, sometimes embarrassingly so. But this weeks article was lovingly, logically written and hence enjoyable. How the state protects itself with character assassination ( think of the 3D Gun Printing guy locked in a dungeon somewhere after being charged with pedophilia. Just charges alone are needed, not proof, because the pubic is a Pavlovian Dog ) click HERE
*
note: Rambo Last Blood seemed to be universally hated, and so I avoided renting it from Red Box. Good gravy, we've had enough bad Rambo's already. But it is now on Amazon Prime and so I finally took a chance with it. It isn't terrible. I'd watch it again before I'd ever watch #3. It REALLY needs to be Sly's last action flick, and it does have issues. But it isn't terrible compared to a LOT of current movies. And, it must be noted, and I can't believe no one else mentioned this prize, The Doors "Five To One" is playing full volume towards the end as he is slaughtering all the criminal dudes. Sweet! My nipples leaked a tiny bit.

Bison, I hope you are not disappeared by evil people. You are helping a lot of people expand their points of view and survive.
ReplyDeleteWe don't know what the truth is but we do know very bad times are coming. I like your look at various possibilities. Keep up the good work.
Thanks. I hope I'm not disappeared myself. I hope I can still help as all traditional prepping methods are ruined by the Johnny Come Latelies.
DeleteLord Bison, despite widespread, deep seated jealousy of your hair, I believe it'll be awhile before you're deemed worthy of the assets needed for a disappearance. When "they" start targeting the prepper gurus, I would suspect the first on the chopper will be the ones with huge followings, (cough-JW.R-cough), the more openly opposed such as American Partisan, and the guys with millions of views on YouTube. You know, biggest bang for the buck and all that. While you are almost certainly on some list somewhere (and aren't we all!?!), your teachings are so far outside the prepper mainstream, frankly I think the .gov would classify you more a tin foil hat crackpot than an actual threat.
DeleteOnly your loyal minions will know how truly dangerous your philosophy of survival is. Dangerous to "them" of course...
I would agree with your assessment. I only fear for the worst because of Murphy's Law and Ain't It Just My Luck. Of course, I could be equally delusional, hoping for a quick end rather than long suffering.
DeleteI would think your teachings are just what they want , people barely surviving on grains and equipped with 60 year old guns!
DeleteNo, they want people wasting all the irreplaceable ammo with semi's and not getting any nutrients from freeze dried. Try to keep up here. :)
DeleteHere's the link to the History Guy video proving that I'm not always a lazy minion :)
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urYvBb7_OBM
According to ZH a mere 1% of slaughterhouses have shut down because 20 people have died. OMG! Well, if the remaining meat-whackers are exporting to China then yep, shortages may be real as the inflationary price certainly is.
RB
A lazy minion is a Calorie Conserving minion. Good practice. I'm noticing ZH is seemingly doing a lot more distraction articles. Dare I say, disinformation? Not claiming YOUR article is one, just that their general believably is lower in my estimation

DeleteHmmm...meat candy
DeleteEasy o coiffed one. Boogaloo is all "white nationalism". And all the libertardians (as you like to call them) Are now vying for the "ice cream social". You think human tastes better smoked over pecan wood or cherry?
ReplyDeletePecan. always use pecan
DeleteI use Boogaloo more generally. Civil war, or liquidations or Balkanization. Not necessarily the rise of the disenfranchised Old Rewarded Masses against the new rewarded Blue Forces. The whole thing implies there is something to win, as if any wealth is left.
ReplyDeleteBison,
ReplyDeleteNice find about Tambora.
Some of the speculative alternative time-lines might be a stretch, but conjecture keeps me acquiring calories.
Speaking of:
GroceryOutlet carries a chocolate-cauliflower frozen dessert.
Paleo.
Made in Iowa by 'Farm-To-Spoon'.
I like cauliflower more every day!
Oh, and you won't find any at any GroceryOutlet in a thirty-mile circle of my house west of Eugene Oregon..
Not sorry.
Hi
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to enticing that Danny at Deep South homestead said that the aluminum and God knows what else being dropped on the land causes plants to be unable to take up nutrients
So the time is coming when the land will produce less and less if that is true
I wonder if ingesting aluminum ( beverage cans, pots and pans ) causes the body to reject nutrients
DeleteDo not know how 'enticing' got in there
DeleteInteresting thought about our exposure to aluminum and nutrient absorption
I've watched videos by Max Igan at therowhouse about the chemtrails. He says they are multi-purpose. One is to add chemicals that make land more prone to wildfire and for wildfires to be hotter.
DeleteAnother is to suppress people's immune system. It is all evil.
Speaking of food: a couple of weeks back, Ol' Remus mentioned that he had to learn to cook after his first wife died. That is a skill we should all be practicing now. Good food makes life so much better.
ReplyDeleteI trust that most minions will have an immediate 6 month supply of canned goods while they wait out the 99% die-off in their hidey-hole. But after that, you don't want to emerge from the hidey-hole needing to immediately resort to previously pilfered fast food mustard packets to smear on the sparrow you just shot with your pellet gun. No sir.
Recommendation #1: learn about marinating meat. Most any meat can be made palatable by marinating. The best marinades contain soy, which lasts forever (fermented soy is good, and will not stop your beard from growing or make your testicles stop working!). Obviously you should avoid bat meat. But stock the forever marinades deep in your larder.
Recommendation #2: something sweet should be served with every meal. It doesn't matter if it is brown sugar on sweet potatoes or plain white sugar on rice. Even jello on the side will do. But serve some sugar. It's still cheap as hell, calorie wise.
Recommendation #3: like Joe Walsh the musician once said: "I forgot".
Carry on.
Mexican food-take nasty meat and slow cook it ( or pressure cook ). Take any pepper that will strip your stomach lining and rectal canal, add to meat. Add to rice and beans. Add to different forms of corn meal. Done. Dessert is anything as long as cinnamon is added.
DeleteI love using pilfered mustard packs. I am always looking out for free condiments.
DeleteFree is usually good. Unless it's a ration of crap

ReplyDeleteBetween eggs and sunflowers, I'd imagine that will go a long way towards fat in your diet. I'd still store shortening, if nothing else to wean yourself from a high fat American diet we all grew up on.
DeleteDemented Guy, thank you about the groundhog. I will try apples.
DeleteIs there an easy way to shell sunflowers?
DG, dude, you should seriously write a book. Minions seem to value your homesteading life. Free, on Lulu or Amazon ( or, bulk buy from Lulu to alleviate the shipping cost, and sell them yourself ). You have all the time in the world, right? LOL
DeleteTo clarify, I should have said "free for you to offer, print-on-demand )

DeleteHa! No, we don't want another Yuppie Scum around LOL
DeleteMeat. We have about 3000 pounds plus pork on the hoof on the hill for about 15 folks so 300# each. Should last a while.Butcher one at a time and they are preserved easily. Yes food will be a major control weapon.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right about now liking When A Good Plan Comes Together. Congrats on the tribe
DeleteNightshift, I was trying to calculate how much meat one might need to store and found numbers ranging from 200-250. Again, I think its probably more of a luxury/weaning item than anything. My dad told stories of where meat was reserved for one day a week/special ocassions. Seems like a change is coming whether we like it or not, and too many of us have strayed from living like the peasants we really are.
DeleteSticking my nose in here, I would say a quarter pound a person per day would be plenty. For myself, I find potatoes the best thing accompanying a small amount of meat to ease protein cravings. Better than beans. But everyone is different.
DeleteYes we dont need need say 200#off a hog for one family at once. By butchering one at a time the amount is manageable especially with 5-6 households and we have a few more neighbors that have potential we could help. We can stretch it out a while.
DeleteClearly one of your best, Lord Bison. One thing to remember, it's not a static situation - there will be, perhaps, millions streaming across the southern border because no matter how bad it is here, it's worse in Juarez.
ReplyDeleteYou can no more blame them than you can blame the wind.
But you can blame the people in Washington who aided and abetted the destruction, but you can't dislodge them: they are stuck like a tick in the side of America.
I question our ag situation compared to Mexico. They replaced our corn supply after the Tortilla Revolution with domestic production, and they are supplying a large amount of our fruits and veggies. And a clear national priority is food security. We don't seem to be doing as well, with a third of our pork shipped to China, most Cali farmland under pressure, and perhaps, just perhaps, northern latitude weather induced crop failures. We also have no more jobs. And soon welfare being cut. And manufacturing moving back to Mexico with the China trade war. The US seems to be less ideal, suddenly.
DeleteI could see that, especially if being poor here becomes more dangerous than being poor there.
DeleteI can see a violent backlash against Mexicans here, if the welfare money is cut to Whites, and the Latino's hold too many jobs. Then, they all move to Cali and NM, as those states are lost anyway.
Delete
