HOWLING WASTELAND 2
Revolutionary War era
America was a pretty backwoods Turd World country, at least rural
areas. There were very few roads running east to west, and those
they had were poorly maintained mud bogs. The British had naval
supremacy and could disrupt the primary movement of goods, by water
transportation ( and this is why France was needed, to battle the
British navy ). The lack of roads meant that farmers were in the
same situation as Middle Age European traders. Only the most
valuable and easily transported cargo made it worth the extra cost of
transportation. In this case, whiskey.
*
No one was going to
ferry bulk corn/grain about, as it simply wasn't competitive with
easily grown local grain. Except into the city, and it might be
remembered that older American cities were small and encircled by
farmland. It was worth the transport cost at such small distances.
The rural farmers had plenty of grain, with extra for raising pigs (
we were carnivores from the beginning. Only later did cows become as
popular as they are now for surplus consumption ). But to get any
kind of cash money, they needed to turn the grain into adult
beverages.
*
King George (
Washington ) wanted a big chunk of that in taxes, which was
problematic. First, these farmers, in the main military veterans who
probably remembered George as the real Douche Canoe I think he was,
were in no mood to be taxed. Since they just fought a war over that.
Where was THEIR representation, as all the politicians were the rich
asswhores from the city? And second, this was their only cash money.
Paying that to President Twat was necessities taken out of their
families reach. Think of it as the original Obama Health Tax.
*
So, from the beginning,
rich humpers are utilizing food as a weapon against the poor. Today,
food is dirt cheap, even after inflation, historically speaking. But
money and jobs are now food. Even now, Food Stamps are a travesty of
the promise to avoid Great Depression hunger, as White males are
denied this safety net unless they fall into a few protected
exemptions such as the homeless. Instead of controlling food through
high prices, the money to buy food is controlled ( and, jobs are
withheld ). The cheap commodity prices of food were an advantage to
corporations ( near free inputs ) and the government, back when it
used to use food as a geopolitical weapon.
*
The Arab Spring was
probably the last time that worked to the extent we used it back in
the Cold War. Not to say that exports don't happen, just that both
China and Russia have largely negated that once powerful weapon (
China is on better terms than we with most nations, getting its food
elsewhere. Russia used our ill thought out embargoes to build up its
countries agriculture sector and now exports more wheat than we do, a
delicious turn around from the Soviet era ).
*
In case you missed the
blaring news headlines that as jobs were shrinking White Males were
being forced to give them up to females and OtherColors, and in case
you missed the intense cultural assault on males at all colleges (
damn how many have to close as a result! ), it isn't your fathers job
market out there. We can apply, but we are barely tolerated. The
end result, no matter the original motivation, is that we endanger
ourselves living in a country that everything is controlled by the
bankers.
*
If you dare drop out
and fend for yourself, there are plenty of laws ( except, mostly, in
food deserts which “coincidentally” have far less zoning. Except
Suck My Ass Utah, and I can pretty much even understand the desire to
chase out all non-LDS'ers ) that penalize those wishing to drop out
of the money controllers economy ( zoning, septic requirement,
illegal rain catchment ). Don't you think that YouTube
demonetization and web site dis-enrollments ( is that a word? ) is a
direct attack on White self-employment? Doesn't that make more sense
than “bailing out mainstream media”?
*
Doesn't that smack on
denying White Flight minorities the ability to grow food OR earn
money to buy any? To me, and this is with only ONE layer of tinfoil
on my hat, it looks exactly like Food As A Weapon. Obviously, there
will always be Poor White guerrilla lifestyle practitioners. Only by
flooding the Appalachians with Gott Damn Yankee Scum/California Scum
with federal pension or real estate money were the feds ever able to
finally pacify that independence minded area. If it feels like it is
an invasion of your ancient land and culture, that is because it IS
an invasion. Funded by the bankers.
*
Personally, that is why
I think the Western Desert is superior. The area is far too large,
and far too disliked by the Moneyed Scum because those are the kind
of people that prefer noise to drown out any thinking they might have
to do, and it is the last built up former rural area. Look at most
of the Southern states license plates. SEVEN digits. That is
getting into California population numbers. Although, personally, I
benefit from you NOT agreeing with me on this, just as you do with
Peak Oil or Semi-Auto's. We have enough people living here, more
than enough.
*
Of course, if you look
at water rights laws, the water falling on your land back east is
your water ( and if you are in New Jersey-you poor deluded fool-you
must pay the government for whatever water DOES land there ), whereas
in the West, the water is largely controlled by the government. They
control water access, they control food ( again, no, I do NOT think a
well on arid land is a good idea ). Land isn't as important if you
are a Western prepper. But extra food storage sure as hell is.
*
But extra food storage
is supremely import to all of you, no matter where you live. Because
it isn't JUST post-apocalypse food you'll need, but also civil war 2
food. The government will eventually fall, but not before it tries
to starve all of you out. Screw boxcars to FEMA camps, those are
just a few of you, as a object lesson to the rest. Most of you will
be “disappeared” on the way to the boxcars, your very own shallow
grave, or, more likely because of personnel shortages, simply starved
out. And not because, “government evil”, even though it is, but
because on our way down to 7 million people GLOBALLY, every excuse is
needed to depopulate.
*
That is what humans do,
we overpopulate, ignore all historical evidence that is a terrible
idea, then violently try to shoot for sustainability numbers. I like
the number 99.9% die-off. It still allows for a lot of people to
die, but accounts for technology and salvaging ( in other words, no
where near a population bottleneck, but enough to allow regeneration
of the solar energy base ). Food weaponizing will begin as a
political tool, as it already has and always has been, but quickly
become necessary. Continued tomorrow.

I rarely forward your articles preferring to keep your wisdom all to myself, but this one went to all of my immediate family, who is waking up to the need for preps. They always ask about location and this will get them chattering.
ReplyDeleteIf any need to e-mail me for anything, the lamp is always burning. Every person not a Yuppie Scum Prepper, the better the odds for humanity. Darwin insists. And thank you!
DeleteAs I was watching the video linked below, I thought of you. While watching, Nevada stayed open as a bug out state until the criterion "Stay out of dry places" came up, then Nevada fell out. And during my fiendish reading yesterday, my eyes passed over "dumping nuclear waste in Nye County" someplace, and mentioned the effect on the farmers in Nevada. Don't know if they farm in Nye County, but I drove Route 93 from so Cal all the way to MT recently and saw some nice farmland.
ReplyDeleteJim, your gonna bitch slap me but population isn't the problem, it's radical planning governmental zealots with their false flags Agenda 2030, climate change stuff. You have not read Steven Mosher's "Population Control: Real Costs, Illusory Benefits," have you? I think he first wrote that the entire world's population could fit in the state of Texas. Yeah, it'd be kind of smelly but you get the point?
As far as the video, I don't know if there's enough fuel in the remaining white areas to keep people warm there. But, hey, what do I know, I still don't have my own shelter, wheat, or grinder. I like what you say about laws that prevent people from becoming self-sufficient. Again, too many stupid zealots trying to threaten us with death for not paying up. Stop paying your water and electric bill then; they'll be glad to cancel services. And who makes zoning laws? Do you know who they are and where they live? Do they have children? Do their spouses like being able to mingle with people? I assume so since they're social animals. There's quite a bit of counter coercion ready to be played. They can push until we push back. There will be push back.
I don't agree with the video or the map. It was probably made by a consortium of realtors in the Midwest plains states.

No, population is the problem. IF. If you think the oil is running out, we need to depopulate 90+%. Hunter gathering would AT MOST support about 7 million globally ( assuming a die-off of humans to build back up the grazers ) and AT MOST 700 million farmers without any carbon fuels. And that is applying every permaculture/organic trick we know of. The problem with "everyone fits in Texas" is it assumes food from elsewhere, a Oil Age fantasy argument. Thanks for the book link, I'll see if it is of any interest.
DeleteI have not even begun to study the Peak Oil issue yet and I respect your work on it. If oil runs out and there is no alternative means for replacing it to do the things it does, you are going to be correct about the consequences. No offense, PLEASE, but I wonder why some econ guys that I've listened to over the years haven't put out the alert on this? The gentleman at Peak Oil website may not have made it into the mainstream; we need for that to happen before the average individual can begin to accept it. For those of us who are not yet part of the Collapse mindset, we simply run from tyranny and keep on living to prepare for that by making geographical changes that would make life more amenable for political and economic reasons. I do believe that the Left in this country wants a major depopulation and will bring it about any way that they can. Or, they want to depopulate and kill off rural Americans merely for political purposes. I don't remember the name of the UC Berkeley grad student who called for killing red staters. I came across his smiling puss yesterday in my reading frenzy. A rope and a tree is needed in these times. Tomorrow I go to my po box to pick up my book on how to make primitive tools and weapons. Thanks for putting out such great links!
DeleteYou won't be able to say that we were not warned, I realize. I think I asked once before; when do you roughly anticipate the point where the lack of oil gravely impacts the life of society?
Seriously, any day now ( on the end oil question ). Why? Banker funded/bailed-out fracking industry. Only more loans keep them pumping, for the last ten plus years. If we have already had our Lehman Moment, with the current chump Deutche Bank, the bubble has already popped. And 2019 is going to be exponentially worse than 2008. Bankers in trouble mean fracking is in trouble. It might even mean military withdrawal, putting even more oil in danger. Granted, worse case. But, willing to bet against that? Not I. Frugal survivalism means no one has an excuse not to panic prep for cheap, and for a good long while. Even if nothing happens, supplies will just keep rising in price.
DeleteHowling Wasteland analogy prediction.
ReplyDeleteThe Southern Nevada Water Authority (.gov umbrella organization that is consortium of Vegas area municipal water providers) has proposed a 30 million dollars budget for conservation ad campaign. (?yeah, wtf?) They have that kind of money to piss away on psa ads, they are going to steamroll a multi billion dollar pipeline. This is to supply growth to Vegas and to bleed out eastern Nevada aquifers. Jim, you should be far enough north and in different section. Everything southward will be howling wastelands without their own water as easily available. Hopefully collapse comes soon and nixes all these .Gov brainiac ideas.
Yeah, we have passed the point of delaying collapse being beneficial. That cod liver oil may not go down smooth, but it sure cures what ails ya.
DeleteEven religious conservatives, if from other cultures, wouldn't fit in locally. But yeah, Progs are pure poison and just rubbing salt in the wounds.
