beer virus and peak oil

BEER VIRUS AND PEAK OIL
In my last series of articles on Beer Virus, I focused on the advantages that China would see if they were the ones that released the designer disease. In short, with minimal disruption and population loss, and many benefits to themselves, they dog piled on the already in motion economic collapse of the US. And I still firmly believe that, as so many events seen through that filter make the most sense. But what about the benefits to the US if we were the ones responsible? It is a lesser possibility, but let's explore them.
*
First off, my definitions. When I say “we” will benefit, I mean ONLY the elite pulling the US puppet strings. You and I, even with The Donald supposedly looking after you and protecting you and slowly stroking your hair so you can fall asleep at night ( “shhhh, it's okay, just relax. I won't let those meanies take away your middle class happy motoring existence, unfairly treated Deplorable. Shhhh” ), we get violently butt humped. If you thought 2008 was a jarring speed bump, just wait until the economy really implodes and the 1973 Consumer Economy based on the PetroDollar completely collapses.
*
And it does seem as if the disease was indeed a designer pathogen. I know it doesn't REALLY matter, except how it treats us once here and why it was used. If you look back at AIDS, it never materialized into the end of humanity we were all screaming about. It killed disco and the sexual revolution, and that was about it. Even in Africa, where a whole heck of a lot of folks have it, it remains little more than just another disease keeping the geriatric numbers in check ( it is harder to grow old on that continent. Now, it is becoming harder to grow White there ) Yet we might have just done them a favor.
*
Most Africans are some nasty bastards, although don't take that to be racist. Have you seen some of the food the Brits eat? Some of the dead sea carcasses plopped into the middle of a plate of pasta in Italy? Most other cultures-CULTURES, you simple hump, not races-are full of nasty bastards. One of the gross practices sub-Saharan Africa in general is known for is using anal intercourse as a form of birth control. Okay, I can see the occasional experiment with the wife. But rolling the bitch over every time you didn't want another rugrat? You're just inviting unsanitary and unhealthy.
*
I would say that AIDS was always destined for Africa. You might recall my previous article on Jim Jones and the arrival of AIDS right after a smallpox vaccination in the area ( I'm guessing Bill Gates approved ). The gay community in America was a secondary test case. And for all those silly creatures assigning way too much credit to scientists, I can see their complicity all over HIV and AIDS research. You can bet the real results are Top Secret. And if America designed an anti-Oriental disease, AIDS was their laboratory. I even wonder to what extent the GMO research tied in with all that.
*
You can casually dismiss conspiracy theories, but there is a heck of a difference between some doped up Hippy fresh off MK-Ultra thinking a little green alien was anal probing him ( obviously, trying to give him AIDS! LOL ) and thinking the government puts its unlimited budget into controlling us. Even the lowest IQ densest mouth drooler should have learned after Watergate and Iran-Contra that the government uses and abuses and throws one into the weeds upon completion. Anyone who ever served in the military should know how little the government thinks of you.
*
Any government which uses its citizens as fallout test subjects ( hey, who knew the best way to cure cancer was to stop above ground testing and to move factories over to China, right? ) is OF COURSE quite capable of designing a racist disease ( while at the same time lecturing us to not be racist as we are replaced with OtherColors ). Now, I'm not saying we released it over there. We could have, and I only acknowledge the possibility since the “Canadian bio-lab breech” was so darn quick to make it into the news. Hell, we could have given it to the Chinese, like Clinton giving them missile technology.
*
You know how to do it. A “traitor” is arranged to hand over the thing for money, which then goes into the general CIA black funds. At the time you are screwing with them as much as possible over trade and such, AND as the US financial system is in actual trouble ( the liquidity dump might be geared towards HSBC bank with heavy exposure in Hong Kong, rather than Douche Bank as I thought, enabling the Chinese a clearer picture of the derivatives meltdown than we the public are aware of-the temptation would have been great ).
*
Recall that Peak Oil isn't just the product of my fevered imagination. China can do simple math, and knows the problematic issues with a lack of energy growth ( declining energy and a 8% GDP growth do not mix well ). Their economy has been in decline ( the falling of growth is still a decline ) for some time. Seeing the US topple economically is not just about winning, but about their own survival. It almost doesn't make sense for them NOT to release the disease on purpose.
*
Ours is the economy in far worse shape. The Chinese aren't the ones bailing out all the other countries banks to prop up the failing PetroDollar. They might be just as leveraged, but they aren't responsible for other countries like we are. Just recall how much more they built, on much less energy inputted. They only had to energy fund factories, not factories AND consumers to the degree the US did in the 1970's. You'll note their biggest problems started when they reached that point, of having their own too huge middle class.
*
But they are still in better shape fundamentally, an industrial economy with a monopoly on the globes manufacturing, verses our almost completely financialized one producing nothing but wealth for the very few. Even if China was force fed Beer Virus, she is turning lemons into lemonade. Now, why would we be motivated in all this? The elite need an economic contraction. Not only do they profit off of it, they need it as energy supplies are in huge trouble ( yes, I know there is a glut, easily explainable ).
*
There is an oil glut right now, but only because China is NOT manufacturing much if anything, nor is the middle class Happy Motoring. How anyone feels this won't bite us in the ass mystifies me. That, and the “trouble even as the oil is in a glut”, tomorrow.

flagrant use of the term 'Beer Virus'

    Oh, dear!

After an off-campus 'coronavirus-themed' party near a New York college, the college 'Asian American Alliance' (hyphen-less) called the partiers:
    "completely insensitive" and
    "not funny" and
"led to mass stereotyping of Asian people".

Then they demanded the college bureaucrats "take the following series of actions", followed by a strategic list of demands to right this egregious injustice.

In view of my innate waa-sism because of I have lots of Caucasian-ness on my father's side and lots more on my mother's side, during my next visit to Baja, should I switch to Pacifico?
    Modelo?
    Dos Euqis?

Indeed, a different label of beverage ought to immeasurably affect the mental health of the grossly-offended member(s) of the college Asian American Alliance (hyphen not in original).

Did I mention the partiers placed N95 protective masks on the Heineken bottles!
    Egregious, I tell you, egregious!

    1. Pacifico might be stealing the identity of Polynesians. Modelo is probably best, except now you are offending those in the fashion industry who pose for pictures. Dos Euqis will have to do

No. But it materialized in the end of a good many turd burglars, many of whom have since moved on to that big bathhouse in the sky :D

    1. Yet we seem to have more than ever. Strange, since they can't seem to multiple :)

  3. My guess is beer virus was an escaped immunotherapy bug. We use 'dead' or 'modified live' vaxs on livestock and humans all the time. You have to start with the virus you wish to protect against, right? I imagine Chinese were developing a SARS vaccine for their people as that virus is resident in indigenous bats. Just like Pharma makes measles or flu vaccines in USA. I doubt they were weaponizing SARS against the West but instead were simply working on vax against SARS.....until a form of the virus escaped the local version of CDC lab in Wuhan (which is different from their level 4 bio weapons lab).

Perhaps the Chinese had gene manipulated the virus in order to make the finished vaccine more effective within dominant Han Chinese geneotype. This could account for the increased number of ACE2 sites on the beer virus. East Asians have 5X the number of ACE2 sites on lung tissue, if I understand the story correctly. This feature of the virus may account for higher death rate amongst East Asians. The virus escaped before being attenuated. We'll have to see if this is true once large numbers on non East Asians get exposed.
It might just come down to good intentions (SARS vax) going bad.

Now onto your 'notions' Lord Bison...
"Just recall how much more they (ChiComs) built, on much less energy inputted". Ha!

China has used gobs of energy, both oil and coal. Most of it very inefficiently. Inefficency is a key indicator in Commie dictatorships. They waste far more energy per unit of economic production than US. They make up the savings by improvishing the people. Seriously, just think for a moment & apply some logic, ok? If ChiComs or Soviets before them used energy as efficiently as US they would have rolled over us a long time ago. But they didn't. They wasted time, effort and resources by the nature of the regimes. Geeez.

Also, the US had a century of infrastructure already in place prior to '73. China really didn't. They truly started from ZERO. They consummed probably more energy since '80 building that infrastructure and new factories than we did since 1960 building our country while driving millions of miles in our 2018 Ford Expeditions (w/ Eddie Bauer detail package!) and enjoying life.

Then you say, "You'll note their biggest problems started when they reached that point, of having their own too huge middle class".
Problems for who, the CCP or the average Mr. & Mrs. Wang? Many indicators show everyday life is improving for regular folks. Public demonstrations and worldwide complaints about pollution have made a small dent and issues are now at least acknowledged if not yet fully fixed.
Also, the CCP has officially made it a goal to increase domestic internal share of economic activity. Currently something like 80% of economy is export focused. The CCP wants (& needs) to lessen dependence on being so export dependent.

Lastly you state, "The elite need an economic contraction.."
That is just such nonsense. Elites don't want anything to rock the boat. They have 1000 ways to peacefully extract wealth from you. Contraction means disarray and confusion. The elite want to 'manage' you with a velvet gloved iron hand.

Keep'em coming Lord Bison, my cases of shot shell are stacked high and deep😄

    1. I love your take on the origins. The rest, not so much. But you knew that was coming :) Here is oil imports for China over the years:
      https://www.ceicdata.com/en/indicator/china/crude-oil-imports
Keep in mind domestic production was always crap, and coal is order of magnitude lower in net energy than oil. I'm no fan of communism, but people living in fascist oligarchy glass houses shouldn't throw so many stones.

    2. I think with the Soviets they plan more long term and have conserved their resources. They are now probably the most resource rich country on earth and in the best position to weather any storm, financially or militarily.
I personally think they value the simple life more.

    3. I think you are correct about the simple life, but I wouldn't give any brownie points for conservation. They simply couldn't extract enough with human slaves

  4. A while ago I bought a bayonet for my rifle and asked if they're supposed to wobble. You guys set me straight on that. On careful inspection of that bayonet it's very worn down. To be fair it's up to 140 years old.

I bought another one the other day and it's a better fit. It's only 80 years old. Best thing is that it was 1/3 of the cost of the wobbly artillery bayonet. Also got a surplus sling for bugger all

    2. Yes, on Boomers. But all other generations are equally guilty. Just a sign of the times. Two co-workers at NOL's job went to potential epicenters for US, Vegas and Phoenix, on vacations. But I do think the Ornamentals are heaviest hit, so perhaps just Normal Flu levels here. Perhaps. I know how to lie to myself as good as any Yuppie Scum or communist. Do I repeat myself?

  5. Off topic, but I’ve been looking into knife laws as of late. Since I live in a blue state, with few rights, I wanted to try and legal carry if at all possible. In Commiefornia, no fixed blade knives, regardless of length, can be concealed, and must be in plain view. To me, this takes away any advantage of having a weapon. I thought that it was just a Commiefornia thing, but no, I checked a few other states, that traditionally, would have been much better. What I discovered is that most do not allow concealed carry of fixed blade knives.

Obviously, it goes without saying that gun laws (The better of the two options in most cases) are even more restrictive.

Bottom line: We have far less freedoms left than I even realized. Should have bought that 1 square mile of land that I saw for sale in Nevada for $60k a few years back, moved onto it, and never looked back. If out in public, and something goes down (such as a shooting) there is no recourse for defense. I feel very uneasy these days when I go out in public, for this very reason. There was a shooting just the other day, outside of the small town where I live, at the very gas station that I always go to.

I could try to get a CCW permit. But getting one of those here, is about as easy as stealing a Snickers bar from Rosie O’Dumbbell :D

    1. At one time my step-mother was an employed constable, POST certified. And the permit still had a few hoops to jump through. I was going to get the certificate myself and join the reserves, but the chief of police did not believe in granting them a permit. And that was thirty years ago.

    2. Here in commiefornia you can still get CC permit in the rural counties. Just donate some bucks to the sheriff's re election! The permits are good even in San Fransicko. However they will not protect you from getting gunned down by the cops there.

  6. Educate yourself on the proper use of a cane, obtain/practice and never be without it. Canes may be possessed in every state and are allowed in restricted areas of public buildings and even in airports, planes, etc. To withstand scrutiny discuss with your doctor your occasional vertigo issues or the pain you experience from that fall you took awhile back. A doctors letter or script should never be required but depending on how "blue" it is where you live, it certainly wouldn't hurt to have one.

He has a good ground game team and was swarming my Vegas barrios well all week. The herds will gain momentum of pack mentality militancy later on as the election season progressess. One more validating reason to gear up and stock up, now.

    3. 5:07 PM here. I actually got one of those United Cutlery defensive canes for my brother a few years back, due to his sciatica problems, and he uses it fairly often. At my age (I’m no spring chicken, but I’m not that old either) I might look a little ridiculous carrying it, but agree that it’s probably the best non-lethal, as well as legal solution.

A cane certainly worked for Andrew Jackson, who probably for the first time in his life, was thanking his lucky stars for unreliable single shot, black powder pistols, and that the assassin was the short wagon riding to school kid :D

  7. Off topic for Bison and others:

What do you think about the wildfires in Australia. So far one billion animals have died!!! And the fires are still burning.

There was a video of a Directed Energy Weapon that almost killed some firefighters in Australia. Then where it hit the fire increased dramatically.

Also another video about weather geo-engineering preventing rain from getting to Australia.

    1. Sorry, calling massive BS. I BILLION animals? Come on, Dr. Evil. They tried the directed energy weapon nonsense to explain California also. Didn't buy it then. Not trying to crap on anyone elses tinfoil hat theories-I have plenty of my own-but let's try to stay within realism.

    2. Animals include:
      Mammals
      Birds
      Reptiles / Amphibians
      Fish

There are 1.2 billion domestic cats in the world.
There are 16 billion chickens in the world.
There are 24 billion vertebrate livestock in the world.
There are 130 billion wild mammals in the world.
There are 200 billion wild birds in the world.
There are 1 trillion reptiles in the world.
There are 1 trillion amphibians in the world.
There are 100 trillion fish in the world.

Most of Australia is naturally dry with limited vegetation and animals. The parts of Australia that have burned and are burning are the areas with trees and higher densities of animals (both wild and livestock). Over 25 million acres in Australia have burned so far. It is the same size as Vermont and New Hampshire combined.

The 2018 California fires burned less than 2 million acres.

So a death rate of 1 billion mammals (livestock and wild), birds (livestock and wild), reptiles, amphibians and fish is possible.

      Delete
    3. Possible, but probable? Does it follow that to burn, the area must be dry and dry will hold less animal life? Also, did you subtract last years pig deaths? LOL Yeah, if I'm wrong I'll happily eat crow. The number just didn't pass the sniff test
