central bank extinction

CENTRAL BANK EXTINCTION
As much as I love Joseph Farrell, one of my occasional splurges for a book good for nothing more than shock and awe value ( Nazi’s still rule! Free energy devices! ), he has a lot of ideas even weirder than secret moon bases for our green reptilian overlords to enjoy a spa day at.  One of them is that central bankers have been around since the Agriculture Age started ( in Babylon’s Bankster’s https://amzn.to/2QIXsZr )
To me, this is too much of a stretch. At least insofar as my definition of central banks as a modern invention.
*
Capitalism and colonialism and central bankers all go hand in hand.  They are far more effective in their Three C’s than the military is.  Capitalism has never been free market or anarchist, it has always been mercantilism dressed in philosophical rags.  Colonialism is necessary to finance capitalism and the central bank turns that excess energy into trade chits.  You cannot have one without the other.  Why colonialism?  Only excess energy creates wealth.  Why central banks rather than government?  Governments cannot by definition be risk taking or innovative or run lean.  Why capitalism?  Finance must trump morals with motivation.
*
When right wingers, Republicans or MAGA’s cheerlead the ‘Murican way of life, they are supporting colonialism, the central bank and capitalism.  They think they are supporting our oil empire, the reserve currency and a free market and unfortunately become the elite apologists.  “Free market” is code for globalism.  Which is code for All Jobs Overseas, Abolish The Middle Class and even Kill Whitey.  They actually think the dollar is worth something, even though it is only the least worst fiat currency, momentarily until the diminishing oil reserves remove its backing.  The Oil Empire?  Currently propped up by the Fracking Oil reserves which is 5 to 1 EROI fake fuel.
*
But let us not dwell on bubble headed red hats ( as opposed to bubble headed pink hats ).  Back to central banks.  The Dutch innovated them and the English perfected them.  We currently control one that only succeeded from the luck of finding the world’s largest Texas Tea reserves ( or if not the largest, the first exploited so as to control most of the others ), but not through any talent or intelligence ( being born pretty or with huge resource reserves usually equates to learned stupidity ).
*
What took the British four centuries to piss away, we have done in barely over fifty years ( I place the end of both empires long before their actual end dates-effective rather than technically ).  They prospered from sugar, cotton and bat guano and built a global empire from that.  We had oceans of petroleum and built an economy on wasting that as fast as possible, with no return on the principle.  It isn’t about the enrichment of the elite-both were the same.  But one at least maintained the golden goose far longer than seems possible.
*
Now there is talk of China perhaps becoming the next global empire.  Well, a few wonder that.  Everyone else is either catcalling that ‘Murica is the Forever Empire, or else trembling in fears over the ( slant eyed ) commie under the bed.  But here is the thing.  You cannot become an empire without excess energy.  And you cannot become an empire if you don’t have a central bank.  Nazi Germany had a pretty good run without a private bank, but they were never going to be a long lived empire.  Especially not a global one.  Especially since it didn’t have colonies.
*
There is almost no difference between mercantilism and national socialism.  It was Capitalism-AS PRACTICED-close enough.  But without the bank or colonies it couldn’t become an empire.  Russia was never going to have capitalism ( it had no culture outside serfdom ) nor a private central bank for the same reason, so excess resources availed it little.  They might have expanded but that was always defensive rather than colonial.  They didn’t need colonies and were actually smarter than your average bear for jettisoning the problematic Muslim enclaves that were mere tripwire DMZ’s anyway.  Colonies are supposed to return resources, not consume them.
*
China is another one who doesn’t allow the Rothschild’s or Rockefellers to exploit and impoverish their nation.  Communist it might be, but it is far more libertarian economically than the US ( all profits, all the time, to the banks ).  And as good as they are building temporary infrastructure ( I cannot believe anyone thinks the quality is indicative of permanence ), they cannot build a global empire on diminishing resources and centralized government management.  And before you start cheering “Africa!”, recall America’s experiment with imperial overreach.  China’s current over expansion is only propped up by an anti-American treaty.
*
Their allies are their enemy, but the enemy of the US Empire is currently their friend.  It has no permanence.  As soon as we are done with the unravelling of the PetroDollar, it stands to reason that no current quasi-superpower will retain the resources to exploit the resources of Africa because it is too busy protecting its flanks.  Neither India nor Russia nor China will be allowed predominance.  Each will contest the other.  How does China spare the troops for Africa ( and you need a lot containing tribalism ) while garrisoning Gobi, Khingan and Tibet?
*
And speaking of garrisons, what of the Muslims in the west?  Those ragheads don’t have much but barren sand dunes yet they sure enjoy fighting over them.  China has been busy Super Sizing the processes propping up the Industrial Revolution, and doing a rather good job, but it is not a sustainable system.  The very thing that enriched them and turned them from agriculture to industrial was the last exploitation of resources possible ( the last of the fuel to get to the last of the ore, growing the last crops ).  They can only contract with everyone else.
*
Central banks, colonialism and capitalism all ONLY work with a growing resource base.  Why do you think American Empire is failing so quickly?  Friggin duh, Einstein.  Peak Oil 2005.  This stuff is only Rocket Science due to denial, wishful thinking and hubris.  You don’t run the 3C’s on contraction, only growth.  Which is probably why the Left has such a toehold now, with their redistribution and anti-growth.  They are too dumb to know better, but while socialism and the welfare state is also going to require growth and excess, at least they see how the capitalism has died.
*
Their only mistake is being dumber than dirt on the solutions.  But at least they are observant to the demise.  Flag Waving ‘Muricans still think the five century long economic order is still possible, even as they watch the death of growth, excess or even stabilization if the first two prove impossible.  Sorry, Optimistic Ollies, only decline and contraction are realities now.  But look at the bright side.  The very bankers profiting off us now have no viable escape route.  They THINK they do.  But with the demise of colonies and capitalism, so too do  central banks perish.

note: I took a quick break from KU books to read "Ship Of Fools" by Tucker Carlson ( here ).  It is far better than most other political books, not falling into the "Right good, Left meanies" trap but looking through the lens of power and money which is of course bipartisan.  It was a quick and easy read and never should have been more than a magazine article.  There just wasn't much meat to it.  By all means borrow your copy from the library, but I wouldn't spend any money on it.

  1. There's a reason why my eyes always glaze over by the 2nd line in these things and it's because it's all mostly unnecessary in average people's lives on a day to day basis - things they can control. It's when it gets all the way up to empires and global stuff that it no longer seems real to me - I can't control it.

Look, I create an item or I provide a service, that other people may want and are willing to trade consideration for it. THAT is my version of free market capitalism at it's purest. 2 people working a deal. But when other people decide, by threat of force, that they have some or all control over that transaction, it all goes to hell.

Now, an "educated" person can try to explain to me why the conveyors of compulsion are necessary to other things that they believe are necessary in my life and right there is when my eyes start to glaze. I do not believe in any religion or any kind of compulsion no matter their name and go out of my way to avoid them and wish them all swift journey's straight to natures hell.

Notice if you will Jim that this has nothing to do with the validity of your post but rather my own personal view on the world at large. Your article may very well be truthful and fact filled but frankly the glaze was so thick on my eyes I am unqualified to say one way or the other.

    1. No worries. Not most peoples cup of tea. I just can't help but look through this wide lens. I find the micro cannot be understood without the macro. For instance, "should I buy a house?" "Oh, I have a good paying job, so I SHOULD". Well, I view it like you need to look at Washington and Riyadh to see if that house will be livable in thirty years. But, I know exactly what you are saying. Few look at it like this. Just the way I write-big picture. Hey, that just means your loyalty is even more appreciated, if you stick around for even more of the macro.

    2. Your big picture articles are my favorite. They always make me think. They are good for planning for the future. Keep writing them.

  2. There has been murmurs and whispers under their breaths from inner circles and top tier 1 percenters concerning adjusting their overt and covert support, financing, deep state shenanigans from leftist orientation (as means of globalism and bankster racketering of nation states) towards rightist, conservative directions. They are apparently sensing winds of change as does historically occur. They will embrace full on fascism or martial revolutionary upheavels to avoid being caught in their nightclothes like those of the french revolution or russian tsar's family. The internet along with Q, Anon, and internal morality commando leakers has changed the loyalty dynamics and nearly eliminated secrecy certainty protections. These will result in governments toppled, proxy or multiple intercourse partnered regional wars, disruption of systems as we know them now. Our 'Merican empire will likeley contract drastically. An international dogpile of opposing nations could cripple american trade and banker dependant systems. Expect and prepare for dire privations, belly hunger, and conflicts that are by products of such events.

  5. re:
    free book 'Apocalypse Soap Opera'

Boys and girls, I encourage you to read the One-Star reviews! Hilarious!

Disclaimer == I did not consume the story, nor am I inclined to == as the Amazon page counter-intuitively proclaims == 'purchase for free'.

However uninformed I am first-hand about its content, second-hand information furnished by real-live readers stands in stead for me. For this insulation and distance, I am grateful.

Some of the one-star reviews quote lines from the story. Not in my wildest dreams could I concoct such convoluted drivel.

I read a book a day, but I'm savoring a similar pile of (insert simile(s)). It is so deliciously horrid, a few paragraphs puts me into blinking sputtering protestations. "WHAT! NO..."

At the close of a review about today's free book, one bewildered reviewer wonders 'HOW DOES THIS STUFF GET PUBLISHED'.

    Indeed.

Bison, you did good. Sitting on the porch with the dogs, we were all laughing. Thank you for the link; it made my morning.

  6. Jim, I'm not going with your assertion that capitalism requires colonies. After fall of Constantinople the spice trade was controlled by Ottomans. Venice lost out on its previous cozy monopolistic deal with Byzantines. Poof! spice trade blows up. Into the disrupted environment jump Portugal/Spain who see new OPPORTUNITIES. They launch transoceanic explorations long before they had colonies. Portugal sailed to India and Spain's lost boy, Columbus, stumbled into Western Hemisphere.
Please rethink your position that excess or surplus energy is the lynch pin. Methinks human inventiveness and dare I say it, daring, can sure make up for a lot of spare energy. Technology is about accomplishing more or better with less.
    Love the hair....it's a wonder!

    1. Inventiveness is universal and timeless. Wasn't the stirrup invented at the apex of the Dark Ages? Spain and Portugal had to have had the infrastructure in place to take advantage of the opportunity. Vietnam couldn't throw off earlier colonizers ( I know, convoluted, but by and large not ultimately successful ), but did so the US just as our economy imploded from our energy situation. Capitalism requires more energy because of the need for interest payments. Technology requires energy, itself. Wasn't there models of steam engines from Greek or Roman times? They didn't have the fuel for it. The Chinese had coal long before England, but couldn't utilize it for industry-you need energy but you also need the ability to utilize it. I'm not trying to pinpoint to one universal cause, per se. Hell, you could throw in geography, culture constraints, population. But there are universal ingredients you cannot do without, either.

I do have an energy post coming. It's so very long at this point I need to figure out how to do it so I keep the reader but cover the subject.

Maybe just summarize it down to "you're screwed."

Very good post - don't forget the amusement value from politics.

    1. I got it a LONG time ago. It was good, worth the money. But now? I would call it an introduction. If you have similar material, a solid treatment of the basics, it probably isn't going to offer a whole lot extra. I wouldn't call it a "go-to reference". It would be great as a gift for the newbies.

    2. Okay, thanks. I downloaded the sample, but it sounds like it’s a pretty remedial book, so it might not be of much help to me. I was looking more for ideas on how to substitute for grid appliances, once they are no longer available.

    3. I haven't had my coffee yet, but I can't think of a book that covers that real well. Hell, I don't even know if I have a book with that. Perhaps no.9 and no.13, but they all kind of blur together anymore.

    4. Thanks. I had a look at your author profile page at Amazon, but didn’t see anything that stood out as a how to appliance book, per se. But I remember the “Jim Washer” so that’s probably the same publication. The # 4 looked pretty interesting (even though I have probably already read it) so I threw a few bucks your way. It’s not much, but it’s more than the bookkeeper where I used to work was charging the male employees for her “services” :D (True story).

By the way, do you get additional credit if someone buys your product through your links? Because that’s what I did.

    5. Can you tell me the name of this place where the bookkeeper works?
      :0
Yes, I get credit even for my products. Hell, it surprised me to find out I get the commission when I buy stuff for myself! I appreciate the support, believe me. Once broke, though, all the books are free over on my web site ( just as a reminder ).

    6. Yes, I know that you can get all your content for free. I’ve been a follower for years, so I’ve probably already read everything that you have.

With regards to the bookkeeper, while it might sound like a good thing, if you saw her, it would soon become apparent as to why her prices were so cheap (free). But perhaps my standards are higher than most, though I doubt it :D

    8. I'll pass on gay, too. And there is an upper limit to weight. She has to be able to squeeze through the door. Ugly is cured by a light switch. :)

    9. I’ve actually seen cute fat chicks before. They were overweight, but not in a way that made them gross, if that makes sense? Well proportioned perhaps? In either event, I’d would have had no qualms about doing them.

The bookkeeper wasn’t actually fat, but had a strange shape to her, and was flatter than Shelley Duvall in a compression chamber. Now that I think about it, I suppose that you could say that she very much resembled Ms Duvall, who if you don’t know who that is, she played Olive Oyl in that Popeye movie, co-starring Robin Williams. And now that I think about it, that’s another good reason for hating that bastard Williams :D

      Delete
    10. Okay, strange shapes are NOT cool. Only 100 lb gals can get away with no chesticles. God, I totally forgot about Popeye, the one movie that did more for me hating pay-for channels than anything else. They ALMOST redeemed themselves after I got wasted on my honeymoon and watched Tango & Cash literally like five times in a row all night long. Needless to say, the soon to be Baby Momma didn't get poked that night and I stayed in the dog house until long after the divorce. Seriously wasted, like peeing a florescent rainbow and other hallucinations. So, you could thank HBO for ruining that marriage to Satan's Bride. But that wasn't quite enough to make up for Popeye.
