evil and lazy 3

EVIL AND LAZY 3
We talked a bit already on self-defense in this country. No matter how justified you are when shooting someone, no matter how iron-glad the laws helping you seem, political hacks will try to screw you.  The District Attorney is a lawyer wanting to be a politician and you are a stepping stone to his success.  Your shanked AIDS ridden corpse on the floor of a jail cells means zero to this parasite.  Who thinks he alone is responsible for peace and tranquility and keeping the tide of anarchy at bay. You can’t change his mind, unless it is splatted on the wall.
*
You can’t sell people on your theory that they are evil, unless they are so afraid of you they change their profession.  The Hero Arc that all good fiction uses?  People don’t change.  But doing so makes a great story.  Stories aren’t real life.  People only change through pain, not choice.  When it becomes too painful to continue on one course of action, FORCE changes that person.  Their brain software is reprogrammed, without consent.  If people change it is only through beating them, and that is not due to them seeing the error of their ways.
*
It is just done to avoid future pain.  Do you think a War Bride falls in love with her captor by choice?  Of course not.  That is evolutionary programming, to help the species procreate.  No one thinks they are wrong.  Nor evil.  It is dangerous for you to think they are evil, because you then think they can discover this on their own and stop it.  If they are doing good, why would they change?  All you are doing is pissing them off more, and they double down on behavior.  That DA?
*
He is keeping the citizens safe, and you spouting off about your rights and the Constitution just pisses him off, as he knows you are lying to justify unlawful behavior ( what HE interprets the law to be, not you ).  Use another example.  Those against the Second Amendment.  You say, evil leftists want my guns to cattle car me.  Those leftists don’t think they are evil or wrong, they think less guns mean less crime.  Which, honestly, it does.  Because people are lazy, remember.  Guns make it easier for those only marginally interested in crime to indulge.  Make it harder and SOME folks won’t be violent.
*
Now, don’t fly off the handle.  I still think everyone needs to be armed.  The only difference between me and anti-gunners is that we see a different consequence.  We both agree that less guns equal less crime.  We both see more government control being necessary in that equation.  The Statists see that as a good thing, whereas I see that the government doesn’t stop at Law And Order, but continues which Dissenter Elimination.  We don’t disagree on guns, we disagree on how the government will respond after I’m disarmed.  And you can’t change a Leftists mind the government will be evil.
*
We argue over guns, but the real reason no one changes their mind is because the argument is about government itself.  That is why logic does ZERO to change an Anti’s mind.  You are arguing about the wrong thing.  You are asking them to deny that man is good.  They can’t do that, because then they won’t feel safe.  They can only live amidst crime and criminals by pretending they don’t exist.  You are asking them to be frightened.  If man is capable of evil, instead of just guns, they are no longer safe from anyone.
*
Both sides are asking each other to be LESS safe.  Don’t even bother trying to do so.  It wastes everyone’s time.  And don’t even bother explaining to Statists that the government actually wants you to have guns.  They want the most populated areas to be gun free, but that is because the larger body count of citizens gives them more power at control, which they don’t use because they want the cities to have a healthy drug trade.  Drugs make everyone money, but mostly the government.  Another area you cannot use logic with.  Legal drugs is loss of revenue.
*
Big city gun control equates to a higher body count, which fuels citizen fear.  Which drives gun sales.  When you use that gun in self-defense, you will be screwed.  Which stops no one from using that gun.  “Better judged by twelve than carried by six”.  That is actually a point of pride, that slogan, by gun owners.  And not every defense shooting results in jail, not even in California.  The point is to keep the shooting down to a reasonable level, and to control both citizens and criminals.  The body count is actually lower.
*
The government doesn’t want to completely discourage defense shootings, or no one would arm themselves.  And they don’t want the criminals completely paralyzed from attacking citizens.  Everyone stays in conflict.  Citizens stay afraid of criminals, and ignore the government threat.  Criminals continue making the government money, but cannot get to the point of usurping the government control of the area.  Armed citizens are actually performing a militia role against criminals threatening to take over sovereignty in certain areas.  Yet, the threat of going to jail keeps the militia itself from assuming power.  See the balancing act?  No one can join together as a threat to government.
*
The government doesn’t care if you are armed.  You cannot threaten them.  Not without the wide support of the population, and you will NOT get that.  Everyone is turned against everyone else, all people fighting for shrinking purchasing power.  Even inflation and unemployment aid the government.  We all fight each other, not the Powers.  You are a chump, a dupe, a tool, and you cannot help or stop that.  I know a fantasy of an AR and combat load of 300 rounds makes you think you are invincible, but you ain’t much against the government.
*
Only those the government sets against you.  And the gov likes when you fight those others.  It will be the same in a guerrilla war, as there will be multiple sides.  And no matter who you fight, it will help another of your enemies.  Sure you want to die to enrich others?  Better to retreat and be out of the way, unattractive as your area has no strategic or logistical treasure.  Or, Hell, go ahead and stay in that big city.  That should work out good for you.

I can relate. I tried to teach Amy Schumer to sing the other day. It wasted my time, and it annoyed her :D

    1. Like trying to teach her to be funny, or NOT a fat pig? Okay, I'll admit, I'd do her anyway, since I like plump, but ONLY if she has a piece of duct tape over her pie-hole.

So would I. But the joke seems to be a little more funny, when you and I don’t admit to having lower standards :D

Well, to be fair, and in the interest of political correctness, most of these fuckers now are affirmative action appointees, so fucker-ettes would typically be the more appropriate gender pronoun in this scenario :D

  3. Good series Jim. I want to pull on thread of your well woven storyline, concerning the statists and the "talking to a brick wall" responsiveness that citizens get from them. The statists that are generally the 9% straw bosses of their entitity: gov't, schools, corporate, etc. Are so far along doggedly programmed with their own dogma language and nuances that only a bare amount of functional interactions is possible with them. Minions are advised, as I have learned over time, to just avoid contacts and interactions with any "statist members" or any of their leftist bretheren. Kinda like the me too movement denigrated all men as toxic and deplorabled the other outliers. Turn your back on them, they are the enemy. I do not converse with strangers as it is unknown if they are a sleeper statist or leftist. I don't bother holding the door open for ANYBODY (but crippled elderly) anymore, it has all so changed me irrevocably forever. The system created the "me monster", from a once high functioning, cooperative, law abiding, community member, to well not so much anymore. Interesting turns as a result.

Maybe an article series of "how to for dummies" for Minionites to duck and dodge traps, snares, gov't shenanigans, pratfalls, sjw ambushes, etc during this dripping collapse. (?)

    1. That article just might be doable, although the majority of it would be the same advice everyone always gives, "move away from most people". Not sure how helpful that would be.

    2. "how to for dummies"

Just stay the fuck home, and make that home as far from everybody else as possible.

Cryin' shame. I used to be the most sociable person you ever met. MY crib was the place to be, always something goin on. Knew all the right people, had access to all the right stuff, nothin but fun all the time.

Then I grew up and started paying attention and the more I paid the more they wanted and the more I resisted and the more I hid and became reclusive. All in about 30 years or so, but mostly in the last 15. Just think what the next 10 will be like. Is anybody gonna make it out the other side? Doubtful, and those that do will be more animal than human.

BTW, I'm pulling out. Been coming for some time and now it's picking up steam. Maybe it's the weather. Maybe it's the age. My youngest brother died from a heart attack 2 months ago and last week I was diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm. Gotta make hay while the suns still shinin'. I'll be scarce from now on.

    3. If you do have the time and inclination I'd be interested in what you decided. South America? The parcel way out there? Something else? Regardless, I hope it all works out. You've been an interesting passenger on this trip. Be cool, be safe.

    4. Jim, Most of us live all our lives thinking we have warehouses of time left on this planet, until we suddenly don't. Even as we get old we still think that. For me now, that warehouse has vanished to be replaced my a clock with only a second hand on it. I still don't know all the info on this aneurysm thing but will find out more tomorrow.

Regarding the move thing. It's probably not going to happen. If I was alone, maybe I'd relocate. I can handle extremes, then die. I can't expect my wife to be like me. So, as much as I hate to admit it, we will mostly stay put where we are. For now. Admittedly, this major medical issue looming has sort of taken precedence and maybe in the near future my outlook will change and we will move somewhere more conducive to our lifestyle. Just don't know right now.

I'm not gone completely, I'll still stop in now and then. Thing is, my blood pressure is unusually high so frequenting things that disturb me greatly is not good for longevity. The web in general, now, frustrates and disappoints and angers me all the time. I demand simplicity in all things and that doesn't include the web for the most part. I've mentioned this several times in the past and the past is now. Like I said, I may drop in now and then but I won't be a regular any more. When all your tomorrows are today everything takes on a different perspective. I have to try to prepare my wife for a life without me. Peace and harmony in all things.

    5. Ah, my apologies. I took it to mean you were leaving. No, I can see exactly what you are talking about, the Web being a driver of blood pressure as it hangs peoples asses out to be seen by all. Just don't read the morning newspaper-that's even worse! I won't take it personally-flee, be free! Enjoy your time left my friend. Best to you and yours.

Yeah, I can totally relate to what gs is saying. I find my blood pressure shooting up with some of the comments that I read from the many morons on the web. My web browsing is limited to just this site and a few others, but I still foolishly frequent a lot of movie forum sites, and such sites are full of leftwing fuckheads. I need to stop going to these sites altogether.

GS should look into CoQ10, or some other supplements for strengthening the heart. There’s gotta be something he could do buy himself some more time. My guess is that the docs will probably put him on some kind of a blood thinner to start.

  4. re:
    "less weapons equals less crime"

    Mike Brown makes a counter-point:
Many societies exist without weapons... including dis-armed government agents. And yet, rapes are very common. Robbery is common. Murders are very common. Threats and extreme violence are very common.

What are these utopian weapon-less societies? Prisons.

I think dis-arming folks modifies a peaceable place; dis-arming everybody turns that society into a prison.

Is that a bad outcome? Hard to say. I still believe being on the receiving-end of threats robbery murder is probably not the first choice for most folks.

    1. " Make it harder and SOME folks won’t be violent." Guns just make crime easier, that is all. Since I was talking about us being lazy by nature, making crime harder to commit will disincline SOME people to commit it.

In reality it all stems from the world wide economic collapse occurring affecting our southern neighbors.
Those folk are truly fleeing a war zone of turmoil.
Indeed there will be the bad coming with the true reffugees. A wall won't help much. In fact might end up hindering us fleeing our own demise.

    3. Funny, yesterday I watched a real cheesy disaster movie on the sun going partially dark. The elite with the heads up headed towards the equator. This film was at least 10-15 years before the "Day After Tomorrow" crap was released. I don't think I could see myself heading south for any reason. We'd stick out like a marshmallow in a cup of hot chocolate. And vendetta will run generations deep.

  6. Most excellent post. Yesterday's even better but my congrats to that eaten by computer.
Disagree today on claim TPTB want schlubs to have some access to guns to give appearance of holding off the "die varsity". San Fran recently drove last gun store out of town thru regulatory & taxing warfare. Other cities/states engaged in similar tactics.
Second, in future generation when memory and habit of owning guns disappears you will see crime rates go back up. Evidence #1 present day London. Knife crime climbing.
Third disagree for today: 300 round combat load out....piffle. More! More until your knees and back scream.

    1. No, gov wants the citizen militia to counter drug armies. In too many countries, such as Mexico, armed mobsters are more powerful than the real army. The PTB don't want that here. Hence, armed militia. But so THAT doesn't get too powerful, Blue Area's. If the peoples militia acts overtly against Gun Grabbers, or illegal immigrants, or acts against crime as vigilantes, the fear of the Red States is realized and all guns get grabbed. But the drug armies still have to worry about Red Area armed citizens, so they keep the major drug war crime in Blue areas. Where OUR gov can better contain it. All countering actions so no one gets out of control and threatens our elite.

  7. Once again, Jim, excellent big-picture analysis. Growing up, schools taught us the three branches of government provided checks and balances on each other, but I doubt that really applies within the gubbermint anymore. All three branches are out to screw us. Instead, government/deep state (and their mainstream media lackeys) use the old divide-and-conquer strategy on us, as a macro version of checks and balances, as you so brilliantly described.

As an aside, I'm sorry to read that Ghostsniper is departing this blog as a frequent commenter. I enjoy reading his comments almost as much as I enjoy the main articles, and he has been informative. I like the way he thinks, too. Be well, Ghostsniper.
