WAR STIMULUS DEAD 2
The reasons for war never
change. Man has always been territorial
because territory has that nifty little thing called “food” in it, and in all
of man’s history, be that religious nutters improbable six thousand years or
evolutionists dogmas equally unlikely two million, everything can be explained
by food. Just as in the animal
kingdom. You can be as philosophical as
you wish ( “we are a moral and reasoning being” ) but man likes to eat to
survive, and will do anything to anyone anywhere or anywhen to do so.
*
( talking to you, delusional dimwits
who believe we will go against our best interests in eating to “save the planet”
) Man might have choices and free will and rationalizing ability but he also
has cultural programming and biological hardwiring which dictate 99% of his
actions. War-what is it good for? Survival.
And eating. So get over it, it is
here to stay. Only HOW war is waged
differs. And how it was waged for a
hundred years was to turn the economy into war production. You could do it seriously half assed, such as
when fighting Bush Bitches in a colonial war.
*
You could do it All In, a complete
effort holding nothing back, keeping your breeders working rather than
breeding, turning all media into propaganda and putting every male from 16 to
60 into uniform ( even if only a civilian traffic director ). That was when typewriter manufactures were
making guns and everyone gardened so as to free up food for other countries. And as I’ve said many times, you can’t throw
excess energy and resources at a Total War if you don’t have those
resources. I don’t think it is rocket
science on that one.
*
We can’t fight World War Two again
because we aren’t the world’s biggest oil producer like we were then. I’ve also told you that the US experienced
Peak Iron Ore in 1959, yet you refuse to believe we could ever have Peak
Silver, Peak Gold or Peak Oil. And in
case you kind of missed science, iron ore isn’t exactly scarce. If we can run out of that, we can run out of
anything. Oh, except Fracking Oil. That will last forever! ( sarcasm ). If we cannot duplicate the resource
production of WWII, doesn’t it stand to reason we can’t fight that kind of war
again?
*
So, what happened? Why can’t we fight a war and stimulate the
economy like we did in World War Two?
Even if our economy could be industrialized again, which it cannot, with
little iron ore to build factories, machines or products, and little oil to
power all of that, you also need a sound currency to fund all of this economic
activity. And by sound currency, I mean
a currency based on a resource that is growing.
The gold supply used to be growing.
We based our currency on that.
Then oil. But the supply MUST
increase.
*
Going by the brilliance of the Crash
Course ( which was pure brilliance, but once he became Peak Prosperity I
chocked on the bloody stool of optimism that stunk up every page ), of course
you need interest to run a successful system and interest can only be paid by
growing resources. Fascism in Italy, or
National Socialism in Germany, was an attempt to fund an industrial economy
with a national bank. You had just
enough private profit motive to innovate, but enough state control to direct
resources towards war. The Soviet system
was another national banking attempt, but there was no motivation.
*
Capitalism rewards the individual for
extra work and innovation but allows a bank to divert resources from national
interests. Communism escapes the bankers
clutches but offers no rewards. Fascism
avoids both these negative issues, yet nothing is ever free. If your fascist system cannot grow because
your resource base is not increasing, the states needs start eliminating the
reward system. In a capitalist system,
the end of resource growth starts diverting the rewards towards the bankers
alone. That is what we are seeing now in
our “anything but socialism” system.
*
So, “interest” isn’t as correct of an
explanation as “growth” would be. Under
either system, the rewards continue if growth continues. The strength of the capitalist over the fascist
system is that although the price is higher, the system is more resilient to
shocks, or growth slow down. That is why
“interest” is more important, only in that it is a more robust system. That is why capitalist empires run by private
banks out perform other types. The
Soviets crashed economically with a LOT of resources still in place. They were just as efficient as a square wheel
in getting and using them.
*
Our currency has been based on oil
since 1971. That is the year our oil
production started dropping, but Saudi Arabia had plenty of oil to make up for
that pesky problem. But oil fields are
only good for about forty years optimally.
If you screw up the well by overproduction, you get less than forty ( to
be clear, the well keeps producing a lot longer than that, but it is only
economically viable up to about forty years ).
Not only did 2005 mark about the fortieth year of Saudi main field
production, it also saw I’m Oh So Sure just coincidentally the year of
CONVENTIONAL peak oil globally.
*
And right after that our housing
bubble started to signal trouble ( the Tech Wreck can be blamed on the Russian
oil slow down ). Not JUST because the
supply of oil started declining but because the US Dollar is backed by
oil. Growth stopped with the growth of
oil. Any economic system we’ve had for
the last five hundred years that was successful was based on growth. Growth is needed to sustain the economy that
powers the empire that growths by wealth and resource extraction.
*
Out-growing the enemy is a strategy
as old as the Agricultural Revolution.
Out grow their population for more breeders, more farmers and more
soldiers ( that means you grow population until you die, because otherwise your
enemies kills you long before that ).
Out grow them economically to have more trade for more war and more
population. It is, quite literally, grow
or die. A binary position ignored by
most who think we can survive sustainability.
Gott Damn tree hugging pukes. Eat
a whale dingus! If you don’t grow, your
enemies grow. Not Einstein levels of
genius here.

Yes. Only an apocalyptic collapse of populations (worldwide, too many mouths to feed, too many foreigners want to consume at 'Merican levels of sloth) will free up the demands on all of the various resources still left or not used up, yet. I still think the lizard overlords know this, are planning, and will cause such a diabolical plan to occur. All of the programmed dogma social justice commandos will willingly suicide collapse, or be patient zero to their own societies if they believe they are bettering humanity and the precious planet. Subject surely has been broached in fiction, think tanks, government planning folders anyway. Good luck, got wheat, and hope to see the minions on the other side of it.
ReplyDeleteAnd ammo! Wheat first, but something has to kill the Benign Reptilian Overlords legions of minions. The only two items you REALLY need in bulk and never have enough of, wheat and ammo.
DeleteNevada, the land of plenty...
ReplyDeletePlenty of meat in Nevada for those who want to continue their high meat consumption diets that they've grown accustomed to, post-apoc. If you like scientific studys, you may like this article on distribution of various rodents in various soil/climate zones of eastern Nevada.

This isn't the study I was referring to the other day, but it's pretty good. Notice how the study references the impact that wild horse herds have on the rodent population? Wild horse herds, AKA "desert elk" (I made that up).
P.S. The "meat" is mouse.
Peace out
Appreciate the link-looks like good info to have.
DeleteTrue. Much of the Nevada high desert appears barren and void of enough sustenance for us omnivore types. If a minion is crafty and has a good sense of his area there is enough game forms of all type to be had. Got .22s and lots of ammo?
DeleteThe deer mouse in the study, Peromyscus maniculatus, apparently is a carrier of Hanta virus and Lyme disease. You don't want anything to do with these. Stick to the wheat porridge, guys....
DeleteNein! Nyet! Don't waste the worlds last rimfire on so little calories. Those are for your Forever Gun. Even in the middle of the Great Basin, pavement and graded rail will allow easier access to those that desire. You must have ammo. Rodents can be had with pellet guns, slingshots, traps, etc.
Delete6:14-Sweet Baby Jesus! Can't anything be easy anymore?
DeleteI just watched Anchorman 2 last night with Pugsley. Bat is chicken of the cave . . . .
ReplyDeleteI like this series. We were allowed to be capitalist in the 1950's to out produce the commies. What happens when the oil runs out? Oh, AOC's green paradise! Silly us.
Almost Occidental C**t. The entertainment value is off the charts with that one.
