dempublicans

DEMPUBLICANS

I’ve never been big on voting, as if it changed a darn thing it would be illegal.  In the more oppressive regimes ( such as the Soviet Union or Australia [ sorry, guys, I couldn’t help it ] ) it is mandatory to vote, which to my mind reinforces that viewpoint.  If the Soviets thought the vote was a method of change they never would have allowed it, let alone demanded it.  For some time I was an Anarchist and held the view that voting was an endorsement of the State anyway.  Then, having kids, I decided to hell with that level of commitment, I should have some say in my kids future.  We were living in California at the time and the Proposition system still had some teeth, unlike today.  The only two good things about the state besides the weather was the direct voice of the people somewhat counting and the decriminalization of marijuana ( long before all the Me Too states jumped on the bandwagon ).  Now they got nothing going for them except the weather and if that is actually changing like the legions of Gore Groupies claim, there is no reason to live there.

*

Right as we finally escaped Cali in the early Nineties, I decided that since I had already soiled myself in one voting booth I might as well fight the Clinton Machine and register and vote Libertarian.  The LP got an embarrassing three hundred thousand votes.  I stayed somewhat active in the party and voted again at the idiots re-election.  This time, the Libertarians got LESS votes.  Less.  How was that even possible, after party membership increased?  After all the crap that was perpetrated on the American public as the Federal Machine went full on Waco and etcetera?  No, sorry, there was no “voting republican or Ross to have a chance of defeating democrat” as was the standard pat answer.  I didn’t buy it.  I became convinced, and believe it to this day more than ever, that the vote was now rigged ( although I‘m now pondering alternatives to this, which is today‘s article.  Because I‘m always erring on the side of paranoia-even though time might prove I‘m not paranoid enough-I still tend to lean towards the hacking explanation ).  That was the last time I voted.

*

There are many ways to rig a vote.  You can do as the Cubans did, for instance, and make sure that no matter who is elected the Party stays in power.  You can let anyone run and generate extra votes for the party you prefer, such as the Chicago vote question in the election of JFK, or today’s illegal alien voters.  You can rule behind the throne like the Federal Reserve does, and control all politicians through bribery and fear ( JFK might never have really intended to usurp the central banks money creation monopoly.  He was part of a crooked dynasty and might have been content with extra women and riches, only pretending that he cared for the voters.  But the Fed wasted him as a warning and no politician since questions their control ).  You can control the money and buy the candidate of your choice.  You can do all of the above.  When I say the elections are rigged, I lean towards the computer hacked explanation, but I freely admit I could be wrong about method or motivation.  I just know, like you know about God’s existence or your spouses faithfulness, on faith alone, that somehow only the approved candidate gets into office.

*

Today let us pretend nobody buries bodies or hacks electronic voter machines or registers enough illegals voting multiple times, enough times to matter.  Let us just discuss a simple, rational, cheap way that the votes might be rigged.  You vote for any candidate but only the Party wins.  If you view the Republicans or Democrats as simply one party, the Imperial Party ( with all the connotations involved, from oil geopolitics to the military/industrial complex, the Intelligence Agencies Deep State, the rule of the federal government over the states, the central bank funding the conquest and holding of colonial areas, the elite one percent, etc. ), you get a pretty clear picture that Voting Means Dingus.  By voting you are only voting for oppression.  By voting for either party you agree with your subjugation.  By voting, you say, Hey, I’m a dumbass!  That old saying, “’Murica, love it or leave it”?  As retarded as “if you don’t vote you can’t complain”.  If my vote doesn’t matter, not because I’m one in two hundred something million but because alternate parties are not allowed to participate meaningfully, then why aren’t I allowed to complain that I can’t truly vote, to have an actual say? ( another way that the vote is rigged, as in Europe, is when any party gets members regardless of undesirability, but even if the minority wins they lose from other factors controlling the politicians.  Nothing is left to chance when the elites money is at stake ).

*

The Two parties we are allowed to vote for ( I could get involved in the persecution through laws of minority parties, but just assume the fact that they are marginalized ), belonging really to the one approved party, are still, even on the face of it, terrible choices.  On that fact alone you shouldn’t vote.  The Republicans tell you that you are allowed to keep your guns ( as if that matters with the centralized control of food-but if nothing else it makes us feel less impotent ), but in exchange you are not allowed to have any rights or safeguards at work ( doing away with Unions ).  The Democrats tell you that the poor matter, and will get a small safety net, but you will stay poor because you need to share the job pool with illegals.  Both parties are anti-worker.  Both approve of policies that screw workers, and the last time I checked everyone needs to work, even welfare bitches ( that Mad Dog wine and tax jacked pack of ‘baccy need cash money ).

*

Both parties dilute the job pool.  They encourage women to work, illegals to work ( no wall, no enforcement of laws, a de facto approval of illegals no matter what you said on the campaign trail ).  The democrats support such high minimum wages that automation is guaranteed.  Their open immigration policy decimated Unions in private industry.  The republicans paint anyone on public assistance as worthless lazy trash, and then encourage factories to move overseas.  Both parties hate you, the voter.  It doesn’t matter if you don’t vote, they are in power.  If you do vote, they stay in power.  If you do vote, nothing changes as both political parties, their politicians and their staffs, they are all just window dressing.  They are meat puppets, their strings pulled from behind the scenes.  If you vote republican you vote for the fascist party and if you vote democrat you vote the socialist party and if you vote for either you vote for the Imperial Party.  Your vote is a vote for the status quo.  Remember, the elite do not take chances with their wealth.  They preserve it.  The democrat welfare state enriches the elites corporations and the republican free enterprise system enriches the elites corporations.  Both enrich the bankers and the politicians.

*

Your vote means dingus.  The Dempublican Party, the Republocrat Party, they are the imperial party.  And if you are smart, you go along with that because being an imperial citizen paid rather well.  You got all the subsidized gasoline and food your bloated little body desired.  Your cable sports and your Internet TV and movies are subsidized ( why are two of the most enriched tech companies a “bread and circus” entertainer and a front for the NSA citizen spy program?  Central banker money being fronted, perhaps? ).  You would be stupid to protest too much, wouldn’t you?  I might lord it over all of you, not owning a car, but I sure consume that extra subsidized food for fuel to pedal that bike, don’t I?  That cheap fuel delivers my books and solar panels.  We are all part of the problem.  We complain and whine, bleating about our divine right to own the world’s crappiest plastic poodle shooting carbine, our right to feed cows on public land, and all the time we shovel our subsidized products down our hungry gaping maw.  You think we care about small time ranchers?  Not when a centralized feedlot and butcher halve the cost of T-bone steaks, we don’t.

*

And what choice do we have, about not caring?  Our purchasing power has fallen so far, two professional incomes not buying what one factory wage used to, the threat of new illegals and new factory closings keeping us quiet and complacent, the bankers taking huge segments of housing off the market to jack up rents, medical care unaffordable even as we pay a huge tax on it, what other choice do we have but to shop at Wal-Mart, buying the mega-corps poison foods?  What choice do we have except to praise Jesus for cheap gas to commute hours a day to a job soon to be pink slipped, stuffing our faces with fast food as the boss encourages unpaid work for extra hours, falling exhausted into the recliner to dope our brains up with mindless entertainment that still manages to shove a PC message up our aching asses?  After two to four years of that, voting is merely an hour exercise in futility, even as you hope knowing it is forlorn.  There is no fighting the system, or even dropping out of it ( some states seem to be fighting off grid living, but it is intentional only as far as a local power player is getting paid, like Nevada forcing alternate energy producers to hook up to on grid if it is available.  Which is why I still keep more than one lot of land locally, amongst other reasons ).

*

Dropping out?  Who is actually hurt?  The county and state still get taxes, you still buy vehicles and fuel.  You might buy less food, but why would that be a bad thing?  Plenty of fat humps will eat your share.  It is subsidized anyway.  They don’t care if they sell it or trash it.  They get paid either way.  You still shop at Home Despot and Dollar General or wherever.  You aren’t making your own clothes from your sheep.  “Independence” is still an illusion, as you require on-gridders to pay you a wage, which you then spend in the real economy.  They could care less if you drop out, as your money still goes to them.  When you have a seeming choice ( moving out of Massachusetts to own semi-autos, moving out of New York to drink large sodas, moving out of Oregon to save rain water ), do you really have a choice at all?  You are still laboring for the elite, in one fashion or another.  You living off grid is one less Section Eight house they need to get less rent on.  They’ll charge full market price, a much better deal than interest on mortgages.  Your illusion of dropping out is the same as the illusion that your vote counts.

*

Not to say dropping out isn’t a good idea.  It still is.  It is still a preferable strategy than continuing paying rent for everything the rest of your life.  You just don’t achieve independence.  I’ll be sure to elaborate on that soon, but I think we got a bit away from the voting issue here.  Or at least got distracted.  You know, easily bored, quickly distracted by shiny objects.  Here is my advice to you.  Stop caring about the different political parties.  They don’t mean dingus.  Devote your news gathering efforts and other mental energies towards effecting the one thing you can control somewhat, your future.  It won’t be altered by voting, that is for sure.  But you can mitigate, although not eliminate, the systems dependencies.  Start by wiping from your mind the political Kabuki Theatre.  It is a distraction, like celebrity weddings or Elvis sightings.  Free your mind and your ass will follow.

  1. If the Republicans had such good government skills, Idaho would shine amongst the states. Instead we get a slightly watered down bureaucratic version of California. It chaps my ass that it is illegal to pump your gas and then go pay for it. America, land of the fees and homelessness for the brave.

    1. We can pump our glass in Idaho. You can't in Oregon.

    2. Re-reading it only makes sense if Idaho is replaced by Oregon. Rawles on the brain?

    3. We can pump our gas but I'm legally required to pay first, that choice should be left to the gas station owner, not the city, county, or state. Too many damn laws!

  2. Wow Jim, you and I came to the same conclusion about voting at around the same time. I remember the first election that Ross Perot was in. Here in Kalifornia he pretty much got 20% of the vote no matter what county results were listed. No way would he get 20% in San Francisco and 20% in Modoc county. I realized the vote was rigged and quit voting. This last election saw Hitlery Clinton getting 93% of the vote in San Francisco. In a honest election no way could any one candidate get 93%

  3. The entire gov't is based on nothing but wholesale theft and anyone that sanctions such behavior deserves an ounce of lead all the way through their head. I despise votists more than politicians for without votists there would be no politicians.

One of the most pathetic uses of human language can be experienced when you hear the answer given when you ask a votist why he votes. It's truly embarrassing.

I stay away from such people for I know my limitations and appreciate the meager freedom I still have left.
    But the day is coming....

    1. Well, isn't unbridled greed human nature? We are opportunist predators. Not to excuse, the Lamp Post List grows ever longer, just to explain.

  4. Dropping out won’t completely sever all ties with the outside world as you say, but I suppose that it’s the best that we can hope for today. Just got my tax bill for my remote Elko land; $16, I’m not complaining. And I will never do anything to that land that will cause my tax rate to go up. My vacant CA land that I sold, and was an acre less than my Nevada land, was $400 a year in taxes.

The key is to be low-key. It’s remote, but there are still satellites and county planes. Keep it clean, and avoid turning it into a junkyard. Assuming that there is plenty of cover, I could live within 40’ of someone else, and they’d never know that they had a neighbor. But most people I know could never do so. They are loud, would throw loud parties, and always have lots of people coming and going. This would never fly if you wish to live unconventionally, and don’t have the proper “permission” to do so.

  5. this is the best argument I ever heard for looking out for number one and dipping your biscuit as deep in the gravy and as often as possible. Sounds like to me all is lost, might as well grab all you can for yourself. did I get the intent wrong?

    1. Double dipping the gravy? Well, you are not wrong, although it wasn't my intent. I was more saying, we are all to blame here so stop pointing fingers. Plus, we are all complicit in our demise. But, the defacto strategy in a collapse should be selfish hoarding of resources for your future immediate tribe, as the only realistic survival strategy.

  6. Its entirely just me, but every time I read about third parties and dropping out and etc all I think of is Klaus Kinski in Dr Zhivago yelling "I am the only free man on this train! Liar! Bureaucrat! Lickspittle!" It cracks me up

  7. I get the gist of what you’re saying, and agree overall, but you’re still better off living in a red state vs a blue state. For anyone doubting this, just take a look at any area where the left is fully in control (S.F. Chicago, NYC, Detroit, etc). NYC was anti-gun over a century ago when Bat Masterson himself was arrested for concealed carry.

That being said, this has more to do with population density than anything else. I’m sure that the more rural blue states, if there were any still around, would have had smaller government as well. The problem is that the party has lost touch with its rural base by adopting to its platform, a variety of perverted social agendas in more recent years, that only the big city base would accept as normal behavior. And try as they might, “Tadd and Bruce” drilling each other in the butt, and adopting a kid, will never be seen as a normal family by normal folks.

    1. Sure, in general, blue is better than red. No question. Red states still screw you, just with less girth or length. So nice of them to use lube, also.
