immigration disaster 2 of 2

IMMIGRATION DISASTER 2

Yesterday we talked about how immigration isn’t a new issue.  White Europeans flooded an area and took it over, economically and politically, the same as today.  The difference is NOT because the immigrants are Brown.  Not in the US.  In Europe, the Muzzies if left unchecked will in fact eventually create a Winter Caliphate Wonderland, but the open question is if they will be left unchecked.  Europe has a long history of mass immigration changing the place fundamentally.  But, in the US, it doesn’t matter about culture or skin color per se, even though homogenized tribes are the only way to survive.  Fundamentally the primary issue is resource contraction.

*

Those folks ONLY focusing on cultural differences or racial differences ignore the elephant in the room which is resources.  Yes, race is a factor if they don’t mesh culturally.  The Japanese do use race as a measurement to keep their country assimilated.   In the US, Blacks have always refused to melt into the pot.  Most Americans that had grandparents here prior to the 60’s are simply just Americans and have zero knowledge of their heritage.  Those newer immigrants have clung to their origins as firmly as the Blacks.  So now you have absolutely zero culture cohesiveness.  I don’t know if this was a deliberate government policy ( offering school in different languages, offering foreign culture centric college courses ), but the end result is clear.

*

Race shouldn’t have been a consideration, above and beyond Black/White, but as immigration from Europe dried up, the US couldn’t stunt growth so they opened up world wide immigration.  Hence the flood of Brown, just about the time the Baby Boom ended.  Even if our elites PC Police have no clue why mixing cultures is bad,  the common man knew it instinctively if not intellectually ( human nature, Other is bad ).

*

The problem we are facing is not yet apparent, besides superficially.  Overpopulation to enrich the elite has shown up in medical care triage ( declining wages meeting increased medical inflation ), outlandish rents ( the cause was superficial scarcity, the population increase just feeds it ) and the spread of artificial food ( soil infertility, GMO crops, corn derivatives taking over the food supply, increased distances in transportation as the suburbs pushed most farming into the Corn Belt ).  What, that’s not bad enough?  Well, sadly, no.  It is going to get a lot worse.

*

This is classic Kick The Can unintended consequences.  Just as the low wage paradigm came back to bite the bankers ass ( folks now lack the wages to take on more debt ), so too will the need to push immigration.  It is all fun and games until someone loses an eye, isn’t it?  Despite Trumps bloviating on a Mexican Wall ( “Mr. Banker, won’t you tear down this wall?” ), he is as pro-immigration as all the rest.  So what if he doesn’t cave in on unrestricted Muslim immigration.  There are plenty of Latino’s available ( the Muzzies was probably a reaction to that short period of time when Mexican immigration reversed and they were moving back to Mexico for jobs ).

*

And it works out so wonderfully, until it doesn’t.  Right now, Mexican’s flood the place ( as it is they surround the B-POD.  Not that I mind.  They keep my place from being looted.  The middle class ones think their asses don’t stink, the poor ones are friendly.  Same with as Whites.  Better than crackhead White neighbors ).  All the previous generation ones have moved up to management and only hire their fellows.  They are half way to taking over.  They secured their economic anchor and will start out breeding the Whites.  It is only a matter of time.  They did it in New Mexico, West Texas to some degree and Southern California.

*

Right now the bankers could care less.  White, Brown, as long as they keep the money flowing.  But here is the issue.  You need empire to Flow the Spice from overseas.  And an empire attacked from without as well as within does not last.  By allowing immigration which allows cultural disintegration, eventually the center cannot hold.  If the immigrants did take over the economy ( as the Irish did ), no harm and no foul to the bankers economy.  But they are going to demolish the economy.  There is only one way to fund a demographic takeover in a no growth environment and that is money creation ( inflation and welfare ).

*

There aren’t enough jobs to fund the birth explosion of immigrants.  The bankers aren’t going to import non-breeders, after all.  Soon enough, the last phase of the immigrant waves is eating the seed corn.  The economy contracts even faster due to more breeders forced to accept welfare as the number of jobs cannot keep up as it did in the first phase.  This is the “stripping the copper from the walls” phase.  Soon enough, the welfare must stop.  In California, the budget is exceeded so often and taxes raise so high, eventually the economy is gutted and killed.  In the US, breeders are competing with the colonial garrisons for funding.

*

You will see this accelerate and become obvious after the next country to pull out of the petrodollar acts as the straw that broke the camels back and our economy faces the first serious trouble since the early Seventies.  Then, we suddenly have this enormous overpopulation problem that was masked by all that free oil from overseas that is no longer available.  Then the Bankers Profit Center turns into open warfare as all the different cultural islands start desperately trying to scramble for anything during the contraction.

*

This stuff isn’t rocket science.  It is history repeating itself yet again another time.  In some areas, different skin color unites to combat outsiders and in other areas it becomes a free for all as every minor difference between people is an excuse for violence.  A fertile farm area will see unity, an area untenable without petroleum ( like my area ) will become Bosnia, the Yuppies fighting the Mexicans and the farmers fighting the Sheriff’s Office and the poor attacking Snob Hill.  The few Blacks here are screwed, victim to the age old hatreds as the mob feels emboldened to act finally.

*

The bankers finally reap what they sow, but that is small consolation for the rest of us caught in their tangled webs.

  1. Brilliant analysis again jim. Your masters degree from the school of hard knocks provides you with great insight like that of an oracle of the high desert. Your last paragraphs are spot on target and I fully concur with from my vantage point here in microcosom petri dish las vegas. Keep it up, and great hair as usual.

    1. I don't see how you can live in LV-damn, I'd be blood pressure explosion max stress level ( no judgement-I had to live in bigger cities than I've liked many times-damn those needed jobs! ). But hey, at least you are in NV, one of the better ones.

    2. Means to an end, not a total whore to the system. I settled here young after marines, bought/paid for house, lived life, etc. Use decent job income, no rent/mortgage, source of goods-commerce as base of oprations during prepping. I can load out and walk away as necessary (after opening gas mains and throwing road flares at useless/enemy over run property,ha!) Everybody will have a predicament anyway.

    3. Like I said, no judgement. I was in Daytona Beach for Y2K. I gave way too much weight to a temperate climate and far too little to racial tensions and population. On the plus side, I got to see my kids for several more years, keeping me closer to sane ( not close enough, obviously ). Just having no rent/mortgage is good enough to justify living almost anywhere except the very worse ( LA, SF, NY ). No, my comment was more a personal preference statement. Just something about Vegas ( my political rants against then are applicable to any state/area, so I don’t take it personally ).

  2. Makes one wonder where the best place to be when it all comes crashing down, as it must, sooner rather than later (Just look at the civil unrest over the last election, and multiply it tenfold, when hunger is the main motivator). If you’re of the fair persuasion, and living anywhere the big city, plan on being the “guest of honour” at the local ghetto barbecue, and spit roasted over burning rubble.

The super survivalist guru recommends against going to Alaska. I don’t know, but to me, being so far away from the masses is a huge advantage. Obviously you would need to be well stocked to make it through the long haul, and an earth sheltered abode would probably be mandatory, as you do not want to have to rely on having a fire in order to survive, when you may not be able to have one under certain circumstances.

Our Canadian brothers are also in a better position than most of the U.S. due to population density, or rather, lack there of. Sure, pre-collapse, it’s a leftwing, socialist shithole, and the current prime minister is the biggest sadsack, beta, mangina, nu-male cuck in the universe (gawd that fucker makes me sick) but post collapse, it will be a much better place to be.

    1. Alaska has a lure, as does Canada, but it isn't really the place to be other than if you are a hermit. Cost of living is insane-hurting preps-I've yet to see land for sale reasonably, if you bring a gal with you she will leave you for a richer guy and if you go up there single, you'll stay that way. I don't think there are many jobs either ( oil running out isn't helping the economy ). Elko county NV was a few similar issues but hardly comparable. It has most of the advantages-staying out of the city of Elko or Spring Creek area-and only a smidge of the same disadvantages. Good economy, but hard to find a mate. Low land cost but high cost of shipped in goods. I'm not pimping for Elko, just saying you can find "mini-perfect areas", mirroring the picks that are unreasonable.

    2. I was going to mention that it my last post, but yes, it’s a total sausagefest up there. Unfortunately, that seems to be true in most of the low population density areas, where one would stand the best chance of surviving a collapse.

Last I heard there were still fishery jobs available, and they pay very well. But you’re working along side the dregs of society, and it may as well be Lord Humungus crew 😲 From what I’ve gathered, there is decent gold prospecting, at least on some level, but perhaps enough to provide a livable income.

I know that up until around 1976, you could still file on a homestead claim in Alaska, it being the last state to allow for this. But there has to be cheap land available up there somewhere, as there’s not a lot of demand to live there. What’s that old state motto joke? 14K Eskimo’s can’t be wrong :D

Yes, the price of goods is astronomical. If you ever decided to head up there you would want to have your pickup and trailer stuffed to the gills with as many items as possible, including building materials.

    3. If Gore Warming is right, give it a few years and it might even get a lot warmer up there ( lows minus thirty instead of minus 70 ). Twenty years ago, I might have considered Alaska because of the oil revenue checks that could supplement you somewhat. Now, meh. Can't see too many advantages. Since I like the desert, there are far too many states I can live in good enough isolation and I don't have the downside of Alaska. But, of course, no place is TOO bad, not even Cali, and no place is perfect. Heck, I could talk my way into living in near any state. With Alaska, I could even see a houseboat amongst the coastal islands near Juneau area, or something close to that. You can always make the advantages work for you and minimize the disadvantages. Just the other day, Green Mountain Dude was talking about how the Kunucks get around the bad zoning up there. Oh, thought of another one. Drive up there in a pickup ( back to talking about Alaska, sorry ) with a cab over, with those several gallon pressurized cans of spray insulation. Park at your cheap but cold lot. Build a garage around the cabover and surround it on six sides with the expanding foam insulation ( like a walk in freezer, the walls protecting the insulation ). Okay, perhaps a bit more room than a cabover. A fifth wheel, or whatever. Need room for the stove. A set up like that, I'd have a hard time thinking the cold would be much of an issue.

    4. I’m personally not too interested in going to Alaska, though I do think it has potential. I like that’s it’s so isolated from the rest of the U.S. which seems like a prime place to be in a SHTF situation. Any remote area of any state will work, but in most cases here in the lower 48, you’re probably never going to be too far away from harms way. In this scenario, you would really want to get way off the beaten path, and many miles from pavement. I’ve already made my decision (Elko minion) but I really don’t feel all that great about being so close to a place such as California, despite the remoteness of my parcel.

Your shelter idea sounds good. Short of earth sheltered, I was thinking something like a small, well insulated, and easy to heat cube. Something similar to the sleeping cube as described by the author of Rancho Costa Nada. Perhaps only 8x8’ or 8’x10’. If you wish to have something larger, than you can section off a small room that’s better insulated than rest of the shelter. Insulate the walls well, perhaps by framing with 6’x6’ (as opposed to 2’x4’) so that you can stuff the walls with the thicker insulation. Insulate everything, especially the floor, and the ceiling rafters, etc. Have only a few windows that are on the small side (but not too small should you have to bail through one in the event of a fire) with shutters to close out the cold.

    5. True, Alaska will be the destination of very, very few. And I can't see a foreign power interested in the place as the gold and oil are pretty much gone. Why would Russia be interested since they must fortify against Chinese immigration/invasion? And yes, anywhere here is a target for city/Cali folk. Although the West is less of a destination than the South from the Yankees. I do worry about Cali refugees-perhaps not from a die-off event but from a lesser one such as a major quake or an economic collapse.

    6. That's why I chose the area just outside the Bakken - I got a job, and land that was cheap, and a very low population density, but more water than the desert. Of course, right now the high is forecast at ~@ -20F. so *some* fuel will be required to keep even the ultimate insulated earth sheltered house warm enough to survive, but more water and food production is available than in the desert like you. Trade offs.

    7. A warm winter here, so far ( knock on wood ). The lowest was 12 above. Your cold? Might as well be living in Alaska.

  3. I'm glad to see someone else realizes the petrodollar is dying. Yes, countries are abandoning it for the new petro-yuan and petro-ruble. When the last one that "breaks the camels back" goes, we'll be instantly reduced to third-world nation status (likely never to recover).

Your statement about the friendly Mexicans that keep your BPOD from being burglarized reminds me that YOU NEED A BUG OUT BAG! I would assume that at least one of your neighbors is aware of your online presence and many may suspect there is something of value at your little homestead. I doubt your neighbors at the BPOD are similarly prepped, so they may be leaving your stuff alone for now so they can save it for THEIR OWN USE if the "event" ever occurs, and not get in trouble now with the sheriff. So back to our scenario where your town house catches on fire after an EMP or whatever. You escape with your life and no lung damage from toxic smoke. With NOTHING, you walk the distance to the BPOD. When you get close enough to see your place there are OTHERS there, going through your stuff. Now you'll wish you had a bag full of life-sustaining essentials while you figure out your next plan of how to recapture the BPOD, make for another location, etc.
    Peace out

    1. Damn it, I have to admit you have a point on the BOB. As to the petrodollar, I've been tilting at that windmill for years. I think the minions are just polite and don't say anything ( "Jim's off his meds again, don't respond in the comments or we'll never hear the end of it" ).

    2. I think that Peace out is on to something there. Come collapse time, you will become a “gringo” that has committed many injustices (perceived or otherwise) to those hispanics that tolerate you now. I still think it would be wise to bury at least a 55 gallon poly-barrel of goods on your remote land. Plan on the highway being locked down, and possibly having to exit town at the nearest point, and having to make your way on foot or bike, through the desert to the remote parcel. You might want a GPS, or at least a topo map and compass to assist you.

    3. I have serious doubts they will stay there long enough. Overspent making it "grid-like", and they are just as vulnerable as townies. Worse, as they have no trees for shade, the wind blows like a bitch, their debt on their 4x4's make sure they can't get into town through the mud. I'm not assuming the best, but neither am I the worse. Its a low probability risk.

  4. I think Jim explained the notion of "appropriate technology" in the past somewhere (a book?). This is when you avoid a previously-used technology that was very-basic but has bad side-effects, like burning wax or oil for light when you can use LED's (and their associated tech of solar PV/batteries/switches/wire/inverter) to have an extended day for planning/reading when the sun is down. LED use avoids oxygen-robbing CO-generating fire in your living space, and the expense of kerosene/candles. Closed-controlled fire for heat/cooking (grubka/rocketstove) is another improvement over open fireplace to conserve fuel. Super-insulating a space not visible to your inspectors is another example of money-saving by front-loading expense (pays off quick when you have kero/propane, may be the difference between living/dying without modern fuels).
