buying another gun 2

BUYING ANOTHER GUN 2
The inevitable discussion of politics, and with Trump losing, an automatic gun control push. Beer Virus, online voting, Democrat led “voting machines at the bottom of Lake Michigan” and Biden is elected. Forty-Eight hours later he is chained up in a padded room and the VP, either Hilary or Michelle, is now president. To arms! To arms! Buy your guns now! I told you this a year ago, because Red Flag Laws. I didn't really care who was President, because I had to worry about my local politicians trying to take our guns.
*
The sad thing is, I don't really have anywhere to go from Nevada. Everywhere is getting worse. Even Idaho, with its huge population of puffer fish ( as in, Beard Boys puffing out their chests and proclaiming they were free and would remain free-a similar chorus was heard in Virginia. And in Texas ), is going to go Blue from its Cali immigrants. And I don't want to move. Heck, I didn't WANT to move from California. I had tried, during the 80's. All foreign lands were difficult to adjust to, culturally. I knew I HAD to, but I didn't want to. And now I have to move again? Maybe. But to where?
*
All the idiots from Texas are going to flee to Oklahoma, and it will soon be purple. Most Southern states are triple invaded. Blacks, Hispanics and Gott Damn Yankees. The plains states are losing population but seem to have retained crappy governments the pre-socialist Vikings brought with them ( what is it about once tribal warrior groups going to near dictatorships? Looking at you Germany and Scandinavia ). There is no where to go. Even if immigration stops with our 50% unemployment ( we are a smidge away, right now, even before the backlog of unemployment claims is processed ), Blues will immigrate from cities.
*
I think the next banker profit centers will be food. Obviously, this only applies as long as the country limps along prior to Balkanizing. The last dozen years, the bankers were not content with tens of trillions in bail-outs, nor even more from derivatives ( such as JP Morgan with their silver scam. Now sitting atop a huge pile of physical silver they got for free after manipulating the paper market, Peru and Mexico go Full Retard on quarantine and shut down silver mining. Gee. I wonder who will get rich here? Dollars to donuts, the Federal Reserve is paying the Mexican government-and gov mints elsewhere- to implement lock downs ).
*
No, they needed hooker and blow profits and so manipulated the real estate market AND the health care industry. Having cleared the decks of home owners and any delusional equity profits, most people had to become renters. Prices doubled and tripled, from already high housing bubble levels. If you weren't an entitled Oh-Pressed minority getting Section Eight, you were paying most of your income on rent. To afford that, people dumped health insurance. But we can't be having THAT, so it became compulsory and then health insurance quadrupled.
*
The only problem with those rackets were that you needed people actually working to pay the extortion. Funny how that works, but only bankers can pull money out of their asses. The rest of us need either employment, or need customers who are employed so as to have spending money. And THEN, the bankers took away all the small business jobs so that their corporate buddies could have monopolies. Too many small businesses go bankrupt, but corporations usual stick around paying their loans back.
*
The problem with relying on rent is that people can double up in houses, move into trailers, move to junk land ( the flatland a third of a mile from the B-POD was several new arrivals. Brand new mobile homes, on cement foundations. Rich humpers- there goes the neighborhood. At least the Mexicans didn't care if the token white boy was poor ) or die off from substandard medical care and only need a small burial plot of real estate. The problem with heath care profits is that most people are already priced out. And the biggest customer base is dying off from being well past their expiration dates. But food? Everyone needs to eat.
*
So what happens when everyone is unemployed? There is no reason to stay in the expensive urban areas, overpopulated only because that was the only place with jobs. And with food getting more expensive, folks will need as cheap of housing as they can get. So everyone heads back to the rural areas. Bringing their commie votes with them. Red states turn purple, then blue. Amazing, isn't it? For a fascist oligarchy, they sure are in a hurry to turn us all into communists. Commies don't like guns, unless they are in the hands of the KGB and the NKVD border guards.
*
I guess once the Hippie Scum disarm us all, then the fascists can turn on the Useful Idiot commies and purge them. Hmmm. Brown Shirts, anyone? It should be obvious to them, but then, if commies read history they might not be communists. Since YOU read history, you know about guerrilla warfare, the Warsaw Uprising and similar tales. Just saying. So, buying another gun seems like a really great idea. Aesop had a little nugget about the LA Riots Rooftop Koreans run in with gun control, and their solution in multiple gun stashes. More history lessons.
*
And yet, a little nagging voice screeches at me in Fish Wife volumes, about the focus on money and shopping. Are we playing into our enemies hands here? But even if we didn't buy yet more guns, and stocked food instead, are we only accomplishing feeding the commies, later? Yes, most of this prepping stuff is spinning our wheels. Burying cash, only to see it hyperinflated. Buying more guns, worthless against mobs of rock throwers. Buying food, and mounting a treadmill that never ends always needing more food, rather than the purchase giving peace of mind.
*
The problem with the collapse isn't that it is a collapse. The problem is that all the peace of mind shopping used to give us is gone. Continued.

  1. Yes, as you’ve mentioned, Biden wouldn’t be running the country. It will be his black female, or transgender VP; possibly hitlery. The media communists are pushing for Stacey Abrams (Whom, best I can tell, is just a black version of Rosie O’Dumbbell :D )

Also agree that quite soon, there will be no red states left. The best that you will be able to do, will be to pick the least screwed up of the blue states, and then find an isolated small town area to move to. This will be challenging, because you will have to go to such areas with money, or find alternative ways to make money. Check yourself, and be very careful about not bringing any of your “blue attitudes” with you. You’re already not going to fit in at first, and probably not for many years to come. Even if you’re not religious, probably one of the best things that you can do, is to attend the local church. This is probably going to be the quickest path to acceptance. I would also have a cover story. I would never tell anyone that I’m from commiefornia, even though I have absolutely nothing in common with the rest of the state. I’ve actually come across such isolated, idyllic towns here in commiefornia. The people seem weird at first. Though in reality, they’re probably not, and it’s the outsiders, with their perverted social agendas, that are the weird one’s. Someone here once posted about some blue stater, moving to such an area, and arrogantly trying to push his perverted big city beliefs on the local residents. His severely bullet riddled car, along with his body, was found just outside of town, one fine day :D

    2. True, but she’s a really nasty piece of work Jim. Blames everything on white racism. I’ll admit, that I wouldn’t piss on hitlery’s brains if they caught on fire. But I wouldn’t dump a septic truck load on this broads head, if she was dying of dehydration in the middle of the Sahara desert :D

  2. I agree that there is no peace of mind anymore. For me the main reason is that it is impossible to find out what the truth is about what is happening in the world.

The mainstream media for sure lies. Other countries also lie. Other sources of information are biased by their belief systems such as "Trump will save us". Western Rifle Shooters, Anonymous Conservative, Voxday and many others believe Western Civilization can be saved. So any facts to the contrary are belittled or ignored.

The only truth I can believe in is the cycles of history. That is why I LOVE reading Bison. Good books include "Fourth Turning". Even Ice Age Farmer is good in the sense that cold/warm cycles are a proven aspect of natural history. His timing may be off, but in the big picture he is right.

Famine and war are proven cycles. But the stress comes from the fact that we don't know when or the details of how it will happen.

    1. I shouldn't hate on Ice Age Farmer. He has a good message. I just hate when he forces everything through his one paradigm. I do the same with Peak Oil, but it seems he finds too much evidence where there really isn't any. I could be totally off. I could be unduly prejudiced. But it is like when analysis hinging on something stupid, like "one world gov", then I tend to reject the author.

    2. I like Ice Age Farmer. He just needs to stop trying to time when everything falls apart. No one can do it. Prepare and go with the flow. Don't push it.

He has good data points about events but the eventual outcome is not always linear or as expected.

I also would like it if he gave some information every once in a while about current studies of the ice age that is coming. Also how to prepare for extremely cold weather if you have limited funds.

And stories from hundreds of years ago about ice ages would be interesting....

  3. Escape to Oklahoma? Lol. Yeah, yeah, I keep hearing that Texas is purple but have you looked at a map lately? 254 counties(sheriffs)and only 4 or 5 of them have big cities. Yeah, yeah, voting blocs. Every state has it's problems and I haven't forgot that Bushes came from here and Waco and Ruby Ridge, yada yada. Not a fan of the current governor either. You've got to make a stand somewhere and I'd rather be among those with private armories. Take heart, Jimbo. It will be ugly but let's not lose the war before it goes hot. -RB

    1. Ha! Okay, I get you. It does sound a bit like defeatism. And I'm not trying to trash other states. As I said, far more important to live in your culture than in a theoretical perfect survival location. And I think culture, in Nevada and in Texas ( and other spots ) will give us our only hope of fighting back. Your people didn't take kindly to your Mexican/Yankee Overlords, mine don't much care for our federal ones. That defiance is still strong despite losing a few cities. Eventually the anti-gunners will cross a Rubicon. I just don't think any of us should soft sell the coming sacrifice, or delude ourselves on our current actions/in-actions.

  5. Right. A Minion has to resign himself to the facts that he is now on a literal island and must act as though no rescue is expected. ("Q" and wwg1wga mantras by gadsen flag waving, kek-frog meme army reformists ain't coming to help, ever) I have already operated from expectations of being a stay behind deplorable behind enemy lines, all worst case scenario strategies are in play. This collapse/depression will speed the tempo of all of those negative events Jim has already tutored to the Minionite cadre classes. The hinterlands and redoubts will be even more suppressed and controlled than urban zones. That is seen in practice in many ways already. The tech, comms/media, and interconnected .gov systems will coordinate even better to control or erradicate any useless "rabbits" that have those freedom thought crimes and indepenence proclivities out of the way somewhere. Buy another gun anyway for any reason, I'm going to, but understand there is a lot of other ground game actions and leg work to be done long before the Minion can be that stoic last free man standing on his B-pod bump in the ground of a junk land hermitage. Dig deeper fortifications for everything at this point, but at least stay frosty while shovelling.

There is "civil war 2.0" in BBBno14, but I thought that was a newer one ( as is "tribal strategy" in BBBno15 ). Try those. Get back with me if not. Perhaps you'll recall more detail or dates and I can work from that.

  7. Yes. and as well, use the short window of functional but crumbling systems to pad up supplies for wherever the Minion is going hold out and man his parapets. As example, I added to my foray for provisions a stop into a Vegas bicycle shop. Knowing what we know and are seeing as studious Minions, I grabbed 4 tires, 8 heavy ass duty tubes and rim liners, because. Being that they are import items from chicom and taiwan, and that these are more of a linch pin commodities not to be overlooked, trump buxs are well spent. The flir scope purchase can wait to see if trump saves the economy, ha!:) I am continuosly getting the hermitage kit items in plain sight, irregardless of the current events drama and background noises. Keep pedaling and stay frosty.

    2. Yes my dilema as well, woe is us biped peddalers of freedom. Dry rot from arid deserts, or glues or chemicals of tire casings failing. I will clock it at time intervals for R&R Change outs like car tires and batteries. Just as measures of reliability for my bug out and recon bicycle service.

    4. Spare chains are at least as important as tires and tubes. With wear they stretch to the point of jumping teeth and sending you on your face or busting a kneecap on the head stem. Done that plenty of times. Replaced my chain just yesterday after having to walk up one too many hill because it couldn't handle the load. No chain = no loco. And keep your tires fully inflated for long life, else the side walls will fracture, and blow out or poke tiny steel-belt holes in your tube.

  8. A bit off topic, but I was wondering if you have watched the new Michael Moore documentary Planet of the Humans yet?? It's free on YouTube for another couple of weeks.

When even a Lefty shitbag like him realizes the Green Movement is a scam, there is something to the theory. An hour and forty minutes. Worth the watch. I think he didn't actually make the film but just added his name to it so it would get publicity so more people would watch.

It drives home the point that you have been screaming about for a decade: that 'renewable' energy actually produces a net loss in energy. You were the first to drive that point into my skull. I now believe it.

  9. Prediction: Grid down this summer. Existential bummer.
Will be just when everyone "knows things are just about to return to normal" and Good Times will be here again.

Not making fun of people for wanting normal, semi wealthy and comfortable existence.

We will be starting from scratch at peak of summer. Generation Zero.

Store and be ready to produce calories. Find out varieties that work in your area and focus on acquiring those seeds. Be very wary of one-size-fits-all survival seed collections.
Nail down key manufactured items you need. Nice job on bike tires above. Have hand tools in stock, replacement wooden handles. Get broadfork if you grow stuff. Make sure your plan works for constantly packing whatever weapons you have. Wear a belt and carry a light, knife/ multi tool, bandana, bic at min. Maintain or establish contact with any family or friends who may be reliable allies. Stock extra footwear for you and family. Barge cement is shoemakers choice for sole repairs. Group size high volume water filter. All central bank fiat will be way out of style by this time next year.

    1. If grid down this summer ( I don't necessarily disagree ), is the currency going to last past that to next year? Normally I would say, very limited actual cash in circulation, and hence if only paper is used, it will have value ( no new being printed ). But if we are only looking at Mad Max, the die-off and rebuilding takes a long time. No real trade, or need for currency, for some time

    2. No. As reality of no power returning anytime soon sinks in (less than week?), Fiat will rapidly lose its convertability to anything useful. Just saying that by this time it will have been, past tense, out of fashion.
