lucifer's tool 2 of 3

LUCIFER’S TOOL 2

Whenever I bring up someone having money, inevitably I’m accused of being envious of the rich.  This is pure propaganda straight from the fecal filled pen of the bankers.  Everyone must strive for ever more money and hence everyone must covet money.  Hell, 90% of 70% of the economy is consuming items to make ourselves actually look like we belong to the rich class.  Not too long ago, only the rich had auto’s, or hired someone to build their house or sent their coneheads to college or could afford to go to the doctor.  So now, the lower classes ( ie, not the elite ) stay in debt perpetually over a mortgage, car payments, paying off their student loans or almost any hospital visit.
*
Money is a tool, and you use it or abuse it, but debt is not a useful tool.  It benefits exactly one person, and that ain’t you.  It is the person who created the money.  But wait, you wail, if debt is used to build a business then it is good, right?  ‘Cause, you know, Austrian Economics told me so.  Well, sorry, Spanky, but debt only benefit’s a business owner who isn’t liable for that debt should his business fail, and in case you have your head up your ass colon deep looking for unicorn glitter, even then debt does more to bankrupt a business than anything else.  Bankers whores are busy explaining that Amazon is closing down all of retail.  Bankers whores be liars who will say anything to avoid a beat down from their pimp.
*
Amazon is 5% of the retail market.  And as good as Amazon is on certain items such as books, they didn’t even kill book stores.  High rents due to bankers and high debt to bankers killed the book store.  Only a lazy bastard who can’t be bothered to create value for his customers would have to close a book shop if he had low rent and no debt.  The bankers push any agenda to hide their nefarious deeds, and those blamed smile all the way to the bank.
*
Now, granted, debt can be used to good effect by business.  In a period of growth.  When the economy is doing good, wages are good, folks feel flush, customers flock to businesses begging them to take their money.  Being in debt then is great, to a certain extent, as it allows you to expand your business to get more customers.  Oy, but when the economy is eating a crap burger?  Being in debt is a death sentence.  Pure D guaranteed.  Before, oh don’t you worry, Hoymal, such a deal I have for you!  Just borrow a bit more for operating expenses, the recession will end-it’s a business cycle, for goodness sake!  Things will pick right back up, pinkie promise, no recession ever lasted past X months.
*
Now?  There is no recovery except on paper.  Anyone who thinks otherwise is relying only on mainstream media ( business market ) bull crap.  When was the last time we were this long into a recession?  The Great Depression.  That only ended when we forced ourselves into WWII, giving communism a helping hand to pull our own economy out of the toilet ( after the war, we propped them up as long as they needed, so that the tanks and ships and planes never stopped being built.  Stopping the assembly line was stopping the economy ).  The only strategy now is to borrow more and more money because the economy never recovers and we only see less and less customers, not more.
*
At the beginning of the Oil Age, our economy crashed because of excess capacity industrially.  Now, at the end of the oil age, following the timeline of the Olduvai Theory nicely, we once again have too much capacity and no jobs.  Machines tend to do that, do they not?  You can do a shuck and jive dance around the issue, but giving jobs to machines never gave us lower unemployment.  The mental gymnastics necessary to convince ourselves of this are truly awe inspiring.  When it didn’t happen then, make government bigger and create jobs.  And when it also didn’t just happen with computers, pretend service jobs will suffice.
*
Anyone notice too many service jobs left outside the public sector?  That’s it, blame Amazon again.  The company that eliminated profits to make everything cheaper, then made that up on the stock price.  No jobs, add in too many super size factories, and make sure to throw in some wicked energy BTU declines, and you have a recipe for Forever Contraction economically.  Being in debt now is suicide for a business.  It is even worse for individuals, because whereas a business just keeps borrowing until bankrupt, the owner walking away with a golden parachute, that doesn’t get to happen with an individual.
*
You can’t borrow your way to prosperity as an individual.  That second mortgage for the rural concrete bunker atop the hill, that third car loan for the bug-out vehicle.  The credit card loans for more semi-auto’s and ammunition, that is just making you much more dependent on a job that is dependent on surplus wealth in the system.  And no matter how good of a worker or how well run of a business, when your customers run out of money you lose your job or your business.  So, if the economy is in a forever decline, and your job is in the crosshairs, being in debt is nothing more than a stone chained to your neck.  When you go underwater, it pulls you down rather quick.
*
And I’m talking about ALL debt.  There is no such thing as almost pregnant and no such thing as a good amount of debt.  Not anymore, without growth.  You might think we are still in growth.  Oh look, more fracking oil is more energy is more growth.  Hell, forget net energy, forget EROI.  JUST population growth will screw you.  If our barrels per day stay constant, or as is our case decline just an RCH ( red crotch hair, the smallest measurement known to man without a microscope ), and yet population increases, that is LESS energy for the economy.  LESS!!!!!!  Less energy is negative growth.  Continued tomorrow.

  1. Jim,
I strongly suggest all your poor readers get out of debt. I filed bankruptcy about 8 years ago, It was the best financial move I have ever made. Walked away from 80 thousand in credit card debt run up by the wife, after the K became final I received an offer for a free no fee credit card (like 1 week after!). The reduction in stress made it worth it!

    1. It isn't JUST a reduction in stress, as great as that is. It is a true sense of freedom. For the first time in your life. I'd recommend trying it.

  2. Farming is a perfect example of using debt to operate and then fail. Borrow money against a crop that may or not fail, buy bigger machines and more land to "maximize profits" and then lose everything to the banks when even government subsidies won't cover the losses. Then the bank comes in, and build McMansions that are so shoddy they make mobile homes blush.

Dealing with banks is like making a living at a poker table. Some folks can do it, but the majority don't, the odds are in favor with the house because the house makes the rules

    1. "so shoddy they make mobile homes blush." HA! Classic. Don't start writing your own blog. I don't need this kind of competition.

  3. A homeless man who is not in debt is better off than the guy living in a nice apartment up to his eyeballs in debt. Weird how that works, ain't it?

    1. Weeellll, unless it is like Alaska. :)

    2. lots of places to live undisturbed in Alaska, lots of natural resources, build a shack out in the boonies and hunt, trap and fish! Of course, that works for young healthy folks. I got one foot in the grave so I'll stay where I am. Laughlin, Nevada on a hillside up a ways from the Colorado River!

    3. There have been a few homeless guys that had enough grease on them they didn't die through the winter without shelter. Of course, they drank through the night and then slept up against a stone/concrete wall on the south side during the day. That probably wouldn't work up that far north.

    4. I was never truly homeless. I had a pickup truck. I couldn't stretch out in the cab when it rained so I would crawl underneath and let the engine and transmission heat keep me toasty for a few hours. I was a lot younger then. Homeless people have forgotten more about survival than Rawles ever knew.

    5. Almost homeless is scary enough. And I never met a true homeless guy that impressed me. Ain't right in the head, and survive scavenging a surplus society. I heard about one I never met that dug an underground hovel for the winter. Him I would have liked to know-I probably would have felt different.

Nope. Tried it back in 1980 and it didn't work then and things have only gotten worse since. Sold everything I owned and went to Alaska and was going to live off the land. Found out the white man has no rights in that state - the eskimo's have all the rights. If I had went ahead and did what I planned I would have had to kill and get rid of the bodies of any gov't snoopers coming around. They are constantly patrolling the whole state in planes, looking for smoke. Now, they are patrolling with drones. So yeah, you can do it, but you need to be prepared to live like a criminal.

I wasn’t aware that the Inuits had such a stranglehold on that state. I have noticed that when you see these Alaska reality type shows, that most of the white dudes that seem to be successful up there, are married into the tribe. But that’s a large price to pay, since most of those women are rather unattractive, and that’s putting it nicely. Though I have noticed that a few of the half breed daughters by the white dudes are rather cute. Oh well, that state is a total sausage fest anyways, so unless you have some serious prospects, you’d better plan on living the life of a monk.

You’d probably be better off in a place like Montana, then Alaska. But the remoteness of Alaska, and the fact that it’s a good distance from the continental US, does hold a certain appeal. But if the US crashes really hard in the near future, expect that the Russians might take it back; that is if they feel that there are enough resources left to make doing so worth it.

I know that the super survivalist guru recommends against going to Alaska. But then again, it’s not like I put much stock into anything that dude says, though he might be right on that call.

    11. Every state you go to, except the really super leftist crapholes like NY, NJ and CA, has good and bad points for the prepper. I could even make the case for the bad states. Like, in Cali you have plenty of wilderness to hide in and you can come down to civilization once in awhile and shoot a criminal and fund yourself that way. Good training :) No state is perfect, not even Idaho. It is just about YOUR criteria, no one else's. Look at Arizona. If you factor in Stand Your Ground and Castle Doctrine laws ( in other words, if you won't get screwed even if defense is theoretically legal by firearm ), some claim AZ is THE best state to be in. I look at their overpopulation, drought and Latino's and say, no way hoser. But what is the most likely future scenario? Sky high crime. AZ could be a top choice in that aspect. Only the individual can choose the right balance.

    12. Too true James. Every situation is individual. Until recent moves in firearms laws I was thinking about leaving the great plains for Nevada (again). But for me decent gun laws of MT and WY and low population density trounce the better weather of Nevada and AZ. In the end the choice is where you have your preferences and then a spin of the wheel to see how long you have to survive there.

      Delete
    13. I have heard great things about Arizona’s gun laws. But considering the number of Kalifornian’s moving to the state, that won’t last too much longer. Texas is pretty well screwed as well, but it’s probably going to take a little longer. The future of Texas will probably similar to that of Nevada. There will still be plenty of open spaces to hide out, but the tide of politics will by controlled by those living in Austin (I’m told it’s already Kalifornia Jr there) Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, etc, and so on. New Mexico and Colorado are being ruined by these folks as well.

I’m the Kalifornia/Elko minion. I have mentioned before that even Kalifornia has potential for those that purchased land way out, and are locked in at a reasonable tax rate under prop 13. If you already have your preps in place, and go far enough out where you will be left alone, then you should be okay. But don’t even think about pulling permits in Kalifornia for such luxuries as wells, septics, cabins, etc, unless you are quite wealthy.

    14. Yeh, this would be a perfect state again if Vegas and Reno and Carson ( just because they pissed me off with CA style zoning ) were nuked from orbit.

  4. Yes Jim. Your series is correct in the many ways outlined. The reference to population (as is or ever increasing) is the linch pin in most or all of the negative effects as described. There is only one method of staunching the bleed out of this terminal economy or society systems. There "MUST" be a mass very rapid elimination of populations across the board in all areas on a super industrial scale (global chemtrail the genetically created stuff they already have prepared) to meet necessary goals of a 40 to 60 percent attrition. Sorry to all the Nancys out there who feel they or their "families" should not be included in statistics, they are in the way and part of the problem. Take care of the business now, or suffer the 90 percent extinction in a free fall uncontrolled collapse with no plans or leadership. As said before: "you can pay me now, or you can pay me later".

    1. I don't disagree in general, but one thing confuses me insofar as giving this theory credence. And that is, why import so many illegals, if then you just need to eliminate them? Sorry, I don't buy a global order, so I don't believe all the elites act in concert. The elites use one area against the other, one is the colony and the other the colonizers, so I can't see why the Turd World isn't just triaged except for the resource areas. You can extract resources during a famine-just not if your colonial administration loses control. We could get in a long discussion about all these particulars. My primary question is, why over populate right before cleansing? Again, without resorting to UN Blue Helmet conspiracies of the one world Illuminatti.

    2. Except most scientists are busy cashing in on the PC Weather Grants. No time for disease creation, weaponizing smallpox or whatever. Unless they are Chinese gov funded.

    3. I wouldn't be too sure about that, dear Lord B. Sure, you hear about the BS weather studies/grants cuz its warm fuzzy feel-good nonsense and part of the propaganda. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to learn a subsidiary of a subsidiary of a subsidiary of Google is doing some crazy nanobot research that will have the potential to kill us all delivering disease on a nearly molecular level or some other batshit crazy mad scientist shit, but you can bet your ass and your wonderful head of hair that you'll never f'in hear about it. If we do hear about it, it probably means its too late and we're screwed. Or maybe my tin foil is a little too tight today...

  5. Great articles the last few weeks Jim. The premise that Debt = slavery is 100% correct . The civil war was fought to end individual slave ownership. The bankers had figured out how to enslave 80% of the population with out upkeep cost. It has lasted over 150 years and may last 20 to 50 more before it all implodes. But don't bet your life on it.

  6. I worked for a nationally successful company in Dingoland. Long story short during the GFC of '08 everyone was panicking. The owner called in all the managers and supervisors and gave them a speech that they were to relay to the factory floor. Basically - "companies are in trouble because they are having their debts called in. This company has ZERO debt. Further whilst other companies are cutting back we are going to expand because a lot of expensive machines are now going on sale being sold less than cost because those indebted companies need cash fast." And that's what happened. Some hilarious stories about that expansion (you get what you pay for and if the company could get away with paying its workers a bowl of rice a day that's what we'd have been paid).

OK I have to share on of the stories. They expanded the factory building a completely new building. A few months later it poured with rain. The roof leaked like a sieve. When the builders were taken to task they said "That's a pre-existing leak" and that was that.

    1. Perhaps they are importing enough China-men that soon they CAN pay with just a bowl of rice. I've had plenty of employers who would have liked to pay me in unlubbed dildos and soylent green gruel. Actually, they would have liked to pay me in no food, but I guess they figured my replacement training would have been more than the cost of gruel.
