Back in the day, I believe about the time snipers were awarded brownie points for head shots to mothers holding infants while not harming the baby, and Girl Power was taking such a ferocious hold on this country that any religious sect even suspected of thinking about polygamy ( we’re strong and independent women and we don’t need no man!  Except perhaps as stud services but between milkings they were to be quarantined away from polite society ) was Public Enemy Number One and the FedGov was given the green light to incinerate the offspring of such adherents ( actually, this kind of just crept out of that dreaded smelly place of my subconscious and now I’m wondering if PC indoctrination was more responsible for Ruby Ridge and Waco than the growing police state was-after all, it isn’t like the cops were ever very Constitutional with war protestors or civil rights demonstrators.  It wasn’t like the National Guard wasn’t in the thick of things trying to suppress Union activity nearly a hundred years ago.  To argue the police state suddenly became a threat during Clinton or Shrub is a bit naïve.  Was it more the violent suppression of traditional gender roles?  Just a thought ), a book came out by the title Civil War II which postulated a coming race war in America.

It wasn’t a bad book.  It was far more realistic than most covering reality based futures rather than fantasy or wishful thinking that seems to be the norm.  Listen, people.  When you write a book, yes, the style and presentation must be entertaining.  But must the subject matter be dumbed down along with the presentation?  We are adults and can handle reality ( okay, well, maybe not.  The best attended blogs out there allow for a three hundred year slow collapse or a downturn with a quick recovery with a Republican petroleum renaissance, so perhaps reality isn’t on the menu for the New York style publishers.  But surely there is a market for adults?  Hello?  Anyone? ).  But from what I recall ( I haven’t re-read it and it has been around twenty years ) the premise seemed less than plausible.  Sure, races hate each other.  So do religions.  So do economic classes ( and now, genders ) and age groups.  When the collapse starts, economically, and you can bet your last Petro-Dollar that it will with the only question being the timing, while races will direct a special hatred at each other ( it cannot be any different with the history we all share ) you can count on having more than one group gunning for your white ass, not just Blacks ( again, and I get tired of repeating this but as everyone’s feelings seems to be permanently stuck on Super Sensitive and I never know when a real blogger will direct a new potential probationary loyal minion my way I need to be clear on this, until Blacks address me as a Northern European/American or a Celtic/American I won’t be calling them African Americans.  To me, Black carries zero insult, as I am White.  I can also be addressed as Honky Mo’ Fo’ or Cracker, if one wishes.  Even Casper is pretty funny.  I don’t approve of the N Bomb, not because it is expressly forbidden by the Fruitcake PC Crowd, but because it is a good way to get my ass kicked and I’m all about blending in.  Plus, if I’m going to insult you, I can do it with Two Bit words with profanity unnecessary and beneath my education ).

The coming conflict won’t be about A Chance To Kill The Negros ( I don’t believe it would be prudent to waste ammunition for any reason other than self-defense ), or finally an excuse to Avenge Our Ancestors Cast In Chains ( because if you did that you’d have to start by going back to Africa and killing the Black Bastards that enslaved your ancestors and then sold them to the White boys showing up with empty ships ).  It will be about ANY and especially ALL groups fighting each other over dwindling resources and a return to tribalism.  Your race might fit in there somewhere but most likely not as often.  Not to say there won’t be rampaging Black mobs intent on killing Whitey for its own sake, or that lynch mobs won’t be reborn.  No, my point is merely that you can’t FOCUS on the coming race conflict when there will be oh so many more groups gunning for you.  Beware ALL threats, not just a superficial skin coloring.  God Golly, Grover, if you are White, both White AND Black federal agents will be sniping at you.  College students forming a mob of whitebread suburban Yuppies will kill your white ass ( of course, so will Black students-one of the stupidest moves I ever made was taking a wrong turn on my bicycle and passing through an all-Black college in broad daylight while living in Daytona Beach and I can still feel the hatred in all those that gazed upon me.  Come any conflict, they are an angry mob hating Whitey first and dedicated students and future middle class citizens second ).

Don’t discount racial hatred.  Given any government slippage of enforcement, you can bet Rednecks will be dedicated to clearing out any Blacks from their area of control ( along with a Free Fire Zone surrounding that ).  Just as Blacks will freely hunt down lone Whites and beat them to death if they have a chance to get away with it. The recent Get Out Of Jail Free card Obammy has given Blacks, in order that they might do exactly that, has lit a fire under Whites that will not be put out easily.  The Blacks feel they are entitled, and Whites want both revenge and an end to the fear.  The Blacks will then respond with outrage at the vigilantism and become more violent, ad infinitum.  Race conflict will be real indeed.  But the coming war will see race conflict as just one of many reasons to fight and kill.  More next article.
