when lies lack credibility 2

WHEN LIES LACK CREDIBILITY 2
Conspiracy theories are in the main mental masturbation, wishful thinking, irrational and superstitious. But as I said yesterday, they are STILL more credible than all the crap coming from the bankers, government, corporations and the media ( which all form a Borg Of Occupation ). Do I believe in Area 51, Roswell, contrails, Orange Man 3D Chess, Anonymous, One World Government, Evil Jewish Cabals or most of the other crap? Of course I don't. But I WILL explore them for a time until I get bored of them, while I automatically discard anything the Borg says, not even bothering to read even the shortest article.
*
I'm NOT picking and choosing the One Official Conspiracy To Believe. I'm exercising my mental reasoning so as to make it easier to come to my own conclusions. Do I believe Red Shield runs the One World Government? No. I DO believe they fund and control key areas, and have enough influence to direct the wealth pump their way. That is a far cry from thinking they sit in a smoke filled room and plan out the slow implementation of gun control. As I've covered before, most gun control follows regional demographics. Minority Blacks and Hispanics fear White Boys, who own most of the guns, and don't want “their” cities or states full of White Armed Dudes. And politicians sell their souls.
*
Any gun control unwanted stems from the practice of one or two cities to control the states votes. There is no Gun Control Conspiracy needed. And yes, I understand that is simplistic. Also throw in White Communist Enclaves also fearing White Barbarians. There is, obviously, SOME federal interference. But broad stroking it, there you go. It is influential voters fearing they might lose their new found Former White Worker Wealth. Is THAT even a conspiracy theory? Blacks and Hispanics get preferential hiring quotas as do females and faggots. Kind of hard to argue against those stats.
*
How many White Males DIDN'T get caught up in the same generational Child Support wealth transfer? How can you argue with the suicide statistics correlating to the end of White Male employment? Hell, dude, you don't even need a conspiracy theory as much as you just need to disbelieve the Official Word From On High. JUST listening to dissent is enough to give lie to almost everything claimed by The Borg. The Borg says it's a conspiracy theory if you don't dismiss biology and proclaim 99 Bottles Of Genders On The Wall.
*
The demonizing of ANY dissent as a conspiracy theory has been so over abused that it is no longer an insult but a badge of honor to be labeled a conspiracy theory. Just don't ruin that by spouting bullcrap about UFO's ( any sufficiently advanced civilization capable of space flight at sufficient speeds would have already wiped us out and have colonized the Mediterranean and Southern California coast for a vacation destination ) or One World Government powered by room temperature fusion ( no one wants to pay to administer Africa-one world government makes no financial sense, especially not since Global Peak Oil ) or Jewish Domination ( they are JUST a tribe looking out for themselves, not Evil Incarnate ).
*
And a lot of what might be considered conspiracy theories are JUST mental shortcuts explaining events. I don't believe there are secret cabals directing Black Looter Hordes to attack White Suburban households. I DO believe putting communists or Blacks in the White House will ensure that Blacks are giving permission to do so of their own accord. I don't know if Obammy was actually a Kenyan or a Muslim or a homo, but I can clearly see that his Social Security number is faked, the place of birth nominator not matching the claims. So if I call him a Muslim, or a Fudge Packing Michelle Molester, I'm NOT saying I necessarily believe that, only that I believe The Official Claims to be nasty little horrid lies.
*
Most conspiracy theories are of the “Hitler Was Sighted With Elvis In Argentina” variety. They clearly make little sense or are arrived at through flights of fancy. Suspension of disbelief. But as long as you look at them as fables, with the lesson that When Nothing Can Be Believed, So Anything Is Possible, you STILL have a firmer grasp on reality than the Boomers do ( I'm not picking on Boomers, a product of their time. NOL is a Boomer, and she sure as crap is a much better women than those of my generation. I have several divorces worth of field research on this one ).
*
( I only single out Boomers for being True Believers. As far as their being singled out for cashing in and leaving Gen X on with nothing, they only acting to the supplied stimulus. Do you blame today's generation for bankrupting the government through unpaid college loans? Of course not, that would be stupid. It is the corporations that moved all the jobs overseas, then Orange Man for killing all the service jobs. I STILL see people cheering Trump, when he just unemployed a third of you. Are you even sentient? So why are Boomers blamed for anything? They took what was offered, from a system they had little input in )
*
Sure, the same folks who watch wrestling or Jerry Springer might believe in UFO's, just as Righties believe Trump cares about them. Or that Rawles knows what the hell he is talking about just because he was an Army Officer ( yeah, so were the idiots who wanted to start a nuclear war ). I just insulted Pastor Joe. No worries, dude. I listen to what you say, not what the degree in the picture frame says, to determine your credentials. Don't worry Yuppie Scum Preppers, I'm just picking on your Unicorn Cavalry Leader Guru Idol this week. By next week I'll have forgotten him and moved on, until offended by some new utterance.
*
Embrace conspiracies. They are fun, they can be educational, and they are most likely far closer to the truth than any Borg transmission.

note: Ouch!  $400 today at Amazon on bike parts, and $100 in a few days if the bike shop delivers ( 2 coaster brake wheels, 2 front wheels, chain, crank arm and arm bearing set, 5 sealant tubes and hopefully 5 tires ).  I can't burn my bridges on a less than instant collapse, so alternate transportation is a necessity.  But, damn, it hurts!  $300 on canned meat and other stockpile items and that payday went quick.  You know I love you guys for it. But I just mention this to warn you, again, to get off your ass on stockpiling bike parts.  The variety is gone, parts are getting scarce and the prices have doubled on most items made of metal ( so far, rubber is steady in price )

  1. I like reading Zetatalk. Not because I believe in little grey aliens, but because if you prepare for what they claim is coming, you should do well no matter what happens. Plus I do get a chuckle from them.

Bicycles are a polite form of suicide where I live at, and after much head scratching, decided to go with a game cart for hauling supplies. I will let ya know how that works out in a few weeks.

    1. My question is, how do you pull a game cart where that isn't as dangerous as a bicycle? Or, it is all off road such as a roadway shoulder? I hear you on the danger-the whole state of Oklahoma was like that.

    2. Walk on the shoulder around here. Even then you stand a 30% chance of some jackass drifting off the road.

    3. AND, the jackasses are driving a LOT worse than usual, which was hard to lower the bar on. Hell, I might get run over before the apocalypse or the blog is censored.

  2. Oh dog gone it...everything is a lie or a conspiracy theory
or a struggle of puzzle pieces from "reliable sources" or
educated guesses. What the hell is going to happen to race
relations after this rioting spree? Gov.'s and mayors seem
to be supporting this craplola. New plate:

I was searching the web for a bike. Poor luck, and probably
too dangerous when touristas are using country roads as a
highway. American made? Trek and a handful of custom builders. May I please ask what you have for a bike? My
last bike was a Columbia garage sale $15. I am having China
made and sticker shock. Amz. reviews are not very good.

    1. I think my bike company went out of business. All you need to know is that it was a bike shop expensive bike. Wally beach cruisers were $120 ( NEVER buy Wally bikes-all but the frame will quickly break ) and the bike store cruiser was about four times that price. For it's price it was a rip-off. Very thin paint, crappy weld on the stand. But other than that, which was just an insult more than it was a rip-off, it held up rather well. If you go to a bike shop ( versus buying online ), ask what middle quality bike has the cheapest replacement parts which are usually available for them to order. Just as you buy a gun because the ammo and spare parts are cheapest and most available. Don't focus JUST on initial price. If you do order online, beach cruisers have a lot less parts to break or buy, and are easier to fix. Just not as easy going up hills. But a bike shop will NOT focus on single speeds, so you are mostly on your own. Not only does their supplier focus on muli-gears, so do their mechanics. I've run into this in ALL bike shops the last twenty plus years. But they won't sell you a crap bike at least, unlike Amazon. Bike reviews are like shoe reviews. No one uses them long enough to give a reliable review.

    2. Motorized bicycle minion here Jim. Yeah, that’s what I have, a Wally beach cruiser. Mine was $150 back in 2013.

Ditto on the single speed beach cruisers, unless you are a bike mechanic. Cheap, multiple speed bikes, will be a constant source of headaches, unless you know how to work on them. Personally, I like simple and reliable, so I avoid them. Hills were my bike’s Kryptonite, until I dropped the rear sprocket ratio. But that was because the Chinese engineers didn’t change the sprocket, when going from the 26” version, to the 29”. So the bike was now geared up with the bigger tires, and still using the same sprocket. After I changed the sprocket, it was fine. And unless you’re Paul Bunyan, stay away from anything but the standard 26” bicycle. The tires cost more, and are harder to find.

I’ve had pretty good luck with mine. But I should add that I don’t ride the hell out of it, and store it in doors. I don’t even ride it on wet or rainy days. Chinese bikes, tremble like a Pekingese, during supper time, at the first sign of moisture, so heed my words :D

    3. Regarding Suzanna's querie, In my humble opinion, unless you're going high end (eg:$1k+) you're best bet is to focus on a used model and simplicity of components. My family of 3 has 5 bikes - a 1973 3-speed with wire baskets is "the grocery getter", my "daily driver" is a 1st generation Specialized Stumpjumper mountain bike that I bought used in 1985. My next is a beach cruiser, single speed/coaster brake model I got new for $120 in 1988. My daughter rides a generic/no name "commuter" bike passed down from family. She's had it 10+ years, no telling how old it is. And finally, the only "new" bike we've ever owned is a 3 speed Schwinn lady's model beach cruiser I bought for my wife last year. She used to ride the 80's beach cruiser, but with really bad knees, even after multiple surgeries, the single speed bike killed her on any kind of incline. My point being, other than tubes, tires and a few cables and brake pads I haven't had to do much of anything to them. I've replaced a couple saddles for better comfort and worn hand grips but the only thing I ever BROKE was the stem and handlebar of the $120 cruiser, which happened less than 3 months after I got it and was as likely a cause of carelessness on my part as the cheap components. I spent maybe $40 on a new stem and handlebar and its still on there 30 years later, trouble free. Unless you're a hard core cyclist, there is no reason to spend a bunch of money on a bicycle. Honestly, I suggest something pre-1990 as your best bang for the buck. Id guess Ive invested less than $1,500 over the last 30 years on bicycles (<$50/year!!) , but the whole family has been outfitted for years and Ive got a small but decent stockpile of spare parts/tires/tubes,etc. Craigslist, swap meets and garage sales are where you want to shop for a bike.

    6. JL-probably good advice shopping used. I've had no luck finding used single speeds, not in my area. Probably all the high class bitches driving. Even the High School looks like overflow parking all the time-I'd make the little bastards walk, as shirt as this town is. Peacock feathering

  3. I use bicycles as a light exercise tool for rides 2 or 3 times a week, casual efforts, an hour duration, easy on parts. The bikes secondary and as much importance usage is as a back up transport, for a disabled vehicle scenario, or as a stealthy in/out mobility mode. Mail run, beer run etc.

Ensure a maintenance regimen is adhered to so as to have them ready to roll at a drop. I change out tires and tubes after about 8 or 10 years even though they are nice and still very servicable. It is like car batteries and tires, for life and death reliability requirements to just change out those expendable parts on a time regimen schedule. This regularity pushes out in time how much longer out those wear and deteriorating parts will keep you up and running, once the apocalypse and stores closed spiciness begins.

Get the much thicker heavy duty tubes, worth it and easier to install by their stiffness. The box is twice the size as standards for the rubber content comparisons. Regrease the axle and crank bearings regular as well, ensure adjusted correct also, double check work. Lube the chain with the same love and frequency as you would apply to your flir topped ar15 secret lover toy.

    Stay frosty whilst peddaling.

    1. I used to change out my wheels before the spokes started popping from the dirt road ruts. Now I have used back-ups I am using before I go to new wheels. I've pushed bikes home ( at an hour, hour and a half walk ) so many times, I'm not as scared about mechanical failures as I was. But yeah, if it was for bug-outs I'd never push wheels or other parts to catastrophic failure.

    2. You can use a stationary bicycle to grind grain. Attach a manual grain grinder to it and pedal. Put a bucket on the ground below the grinder.

    3. Think I read somewhere that a bike had been rigged up to a wringer washer for agitation by pedalling
Good idea on the grain grinder
