GUN CONTROL TO MAJOR TOM 2

A big to-do is made of how foolish it would be for the Forces Of Soy to piss off plastic poodle shooters, since red states have all the resources and Blue States have all of the urban populations.  While true, this kind of ignores the entire history of agriculture.  You know the one?  Where CITY states control all the surrounding farmland.  It also assumes, incorrectly in my view, that the point of the kings is to win the war.  The point of the war is just to fight.  Winning?  That’s a bit old school.

Look at Afghanistan.  Eighteen years fighting and counting.  If we wanted to win, we could simply genocide our way there in typically blundering style.  Well, wouldn’t that just put a crimp in our style of intelligence services drug running?  Plus, fighting a war is expensive.  Winning one?  Where is the profit in that?  Ask any banker how much money they make during peace time.  Ask any government how harder it is to control the population during peace compared to war.  Welcome to 1984.  The only good thing about that boot on our face is the substandard material so it falls apart quickly.

So, when you ask, “why would they fight such a hopeless war against the Deplorables?”, or “why fight such an expensive war?”, you are asking the wrong questions.  Why aren’t you asking, “who benefits?”?  The bankers and the government love this arrangement.  They try to control the global oil and everyone makes gobs of hooker and blow money.  And it has worked for some time.  But all good things come to an end, and with the decline in resources must come a decline in living standards for the 99%.  It certainly won’t affect the one percent Beautiful People.

In the past, you kept importing low wage workers, automating everything you could, dividing and conquering and keeping the living standards plummeting while you forced debt higher. Well, those wheels kind of fell off the cart, didn’t they?  No matter where you turn, all solutions to getting poorer have been blocked.  When one wage no longer was enough to pay rent, both spouses worked.  But when you financially outlawed marriage, that no longer works.  When the cities became too dangerous from the OtherColors who the elite profited off of with drugs, the suburbs filled up.  Then they priced those out of existence.

When the only way to retire was to pay off the house, they raised property taxes beyond Social Security benefits.  When you try to deal with the increased stress at the workplace as it became too competitive to get any other work done, they priced medical care out of reach.  And etcetera.  How can you keep squeezing people for profit when the stone goes dry?  The next step is to dismantle the support infrastructure.  The actual roads and power lines and food shipments.  What perfect way to do that?  A rebellion, civil war, guerrilla war, genocide.

This is where the armed citizenry in the red areas ( or, trapped behind enemy lines.  The chair is against the wall.  John has a long mustache click here ) offer the perfect excuse.  Oh, mercy, armed insurrection!  This is why we passed the Patriot Act, so we can waterboard and Disappear.  Rise up, citizens, we must protect democracy!  They wouldn’t actually offer up a very credible threat if they weren’t armed with those scary weapons of war.  Arm them now and use them for war profit.  And recall, our elite are some tight ass skinflints.

They don’t like to spend ANY money.  That is why they appear so greedy and out of control.  They begrudge any nickel used to make them a dollar.  They are so tight fisted that they would only buy the cheapest war surplus rifle for Lee Harvey Oswald to use as a prop gun.  Why waste money, right?  It wasn’t like that was the actual accurate unobstructed in view sniper rifle that was used ( come on!  This is Conspiracy Theory 101 ).  The whole Second Amendment was founded on them wanting a free army.  Standing armies be expensive, yo!  Have the citizens arm themselves!

What is better than a free labor conscripted army?  One that equipped itself.  Don’t take this to mean I believe we don’t have a NATURAL right to bear arms.  Of course we do.  That is what the Bill Of Rights is supposed to be about.  The Constitution, on the other hand, was a usurpation of individual states rights by the federal government.  One that wanted all the profits of such an arrangement without the costs.  The states primarily shouldered those, with state militias rather than a federal army being the primary cost.  I’m looking at this from an accountants view, mind you.

And that is what we have in store for us again.  You want and lust for a return of the militia, but consider how they were used.  Initially, they cleared out the Indians.  And the government then took over the new lands for their own benefit ( which was basically how Russia expanded through Siberia ) afterwards.  Individuals, in the long run, fought and died for the rich.  And we will either be fighting for that government again, for independence, or for the current power holders, as rebels.  Either way, the elite win again.

Think about it.  If the state is pulling away from the Union, we will be fighting that battle on the behalf of that state.  If it is the bankers or federal government behind this re-arming of the militia, we will fight for our freedom as the current elite hold on to their wealth through more war spending.  Either way, we are bleeding so the rich line their pockets.  The ONLY way we are fighting for freedom is if we help the state get independence, then after turn on that state and overthrow that government to stay free instead of replacing the old boss with the same new boss.

Look at what the freedom fighters in Cuba got for their troubles.  I won’t include the Vietnamese because communism was never the goal, but national unity.  They were just commies to get the aid of communist countries.  Most of the time, independence just gets you a fresh face collecting the taxes.  Which was exactly how the American Revolution turned out.  It wasn’t about freedom for poor thee but freedom to collect taxes for me.  I’ll bet those veterans who thought they were free to turn their corn into whiskey felt pretty silly.

How about those Irish guerrillas who thought they had been fighting for their independence from Britain?  Oops.  As it turned out, they were just fighting for an Irish tax collector rather than an English one.  Well, damn, what was the point of that?  Actually, it serves a very good point, in that your wealth at least stays in country rather than going overseas, but try selling that to the poor farmer that has to plow with one arm now.  He won’t buy “trickle down economics” any more gracefully than an unemployed factory worker did.

Alas, the old guerrilla wars for independence aren’t going to be the same this next time.  Whereas before nations formed, the end of the Oil Age just means decentralization and local autonomy.  Just as a state too small fell to bigger prey, next the state too big will fragment.  These macro trends should be kept in the mind of the militia member/guerrilla fighter.  Continued and concluded tomorrow.

I love it when a good idea comes along that I can hold in my hand, admire and show everyone as they exclaim in wonderment how shiny it is.  I was rather pleased the other day with the notion that the bankers know they must eventually pull our troops back to the lower 48 ( not sure about HI and AK ) and hence are as we speak setting up to profit off of a domestic civil war that will keep the federal government borrowing to fight just a little while longer.  After all, the fat lady needs to sing before it’s over.

Or, perhaps the federal government itself knows this and since all governments really only care about their own survival, they have no problem setting up their own future enemies.  Perhaps both the government and bankers are aware and planning.  Or, perhaps more likely as it needs no grand conspiracy in a smoke filled back room, the states really are safely ignoring federal dictates anymore and going their own way.  But even if that is the case, it still helps the feds and bankers in holding on just a bit longer.

I speak of a theory to better explain gun control in this country.  If the progressives, commies, Democrats, Statists are flooding the country with illegals to eliminate White Deplorables, if they have ruined our schools and taken most White Male jobs, if they are so all powerful and demographics is destiny, why are only SOME states so completely anti-gun and other states encourage and welcome gun ownership?  In other words, if the fear porn about Leftists is correct, how can there be freedom zones?  If Las Vegas controls Nevada politics, why do we still have evil black plastic guns after the concert shootings?

( sorry if that wasn’t clear.  Vegas is full of OtherColors from California, Yuppie Scum and other assorted villainy that spend all their time every day trying to dry hump an otherwise great rural conservative state-well, along with Reno, although they aren’t quite as bad.  The Statists Lites that don’t like those two infest Elko, Gawd help us ) I can only see two possibilities.  One, as stated, the feds or the bankers are setting up a second side in a conflict to profit off of as they have through history, for wealth or even just survival.

Two, voting actually does matter.  This is shocking to me, as I have been firmly convinced since the ‘90’s that elections are rigged.  No way in holy hell that the Libertarian Party gets LESS votes after the fiasco of the first Clinton administration.  I guess I could have been wrong about that and everyone did actually panic and vote Republican or Ross Perot desperately trying to unseat the Hilary Machine ( what?  You think Bill was ever in charge? ).  That makes more sense than my paranoid conviction of fraud, I have to admit.  Especially in light of today’s situation.

I’ve discussed before that with today’s complete, total and utter incompetence at all levels of society in every sector, it seems impossible that the bankers or the government are actually capable of successfully duplicating their social engineering experiments of the first half of our empire ( 1913-1963 ).  Perhaps they can’t even voter fraud the electronic voting machines.  For the same reason SkyNet can’t eliminate us, Windows OS.  Or, hell, I don’t know, perhaps even Chinese hackers ( Survival Prepping For Normal People was just talking about the huge surge in computer glitches https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jfAC-HbkpA .  I know, he might be too long winded for some ).

While it does piss me off that I’m forced to accept Occam’s Razor, damn him to hell for ruining perfectly good conspiracy theories, it would be intellectually dishonest if I didn’t follow the truth even when it made my prior projections look foolish.  Logic forces me to lean towards financial control on the federal level ( funding both party candidates so the Imperial Party always wins, with that voter fraud thrown in in obvious ways to keep the elections contentious ).  So, how do we explain lack of control locally?

If the bankers buy and pay for control through their favorite politicians, and they so obviously do, why are they seemingly ignoring local politicians?  The ones that support reckless corporate decisions, unlimited immigration, PC schools, overseas adventurism and yet, somehow, not gun control?  The Statists are either taking over an area, or they are not.  Statists LOVE gun control.  Why would they push all the other PC crap, but not gun control?  And do NOT say, “they fear us patriots”.  That is BS.  Patriots are pussies.  Or at least they have acted like it for almost a century.  Pussies is as pussies does.

Something else is going on.  The 9^th Circuit Court, where the ghosts of Stalin and Lenin are spotted daily, suddenly allows Californians to panic buy high capacity magazines.  Whaaaaaa????  And then Missouri outlaws all federal gun control laws, and is not called on it by the King Clinton liars in the Justice Department?  Even in completely Statist controlled states, semi bans are passed but NOT enforced in any way ( as their PC Gods in New Zealand enforce in draconian manner ).  Did we just go down Alice’s rabbit hole?  Or are we being set up?

Perhaps a partial answer is in the record of states internal affairs voting.  California is a great example.  People clearly vote A, by an overwhelming majority, and then the state does what it wants by implementing B anyway.  Like Brexit keeps being ignored.  Voting isn’t manipulated, but the government is.  So, despite the media’s portrayal, most people in most places are still conservative and normal.  Their voting reflects that.  Some votes are then allowed and others are ignored ( lately, a LOT of county Sheriffs realize the side of the bread their butter is on and have announced they won’t enforce crap state gun laws ).

That is how to get the votes.  WHEN they are allowed to matter.  Hence my theory that some areas are allowed to ignore the push for gun control.  Allowed.  Not, “they voted it in”.  The voting may have matched that desire, but in areas that matter to the elite the vote is either allowed or not.  Not allowed, as in social engineering.  But probably “allowed” as in certain states are allowed to actually abide by a vote and other areas all resources are concentrated to keep freedom out by controlling the state machine.

They are triaging control to the solid blue states, and loosening control by pulling financing from red states.  That is all that is necessary, the financing.  You don’t think California actually wants Dianne Feinstein do you?  Or that Nevada wanted Harry Reid?  They were financed on purpose and voters be damned ( I think Nevada was on the list of desired commie states but was probably unsalvageable after the housing bubble.  Too much funding needed elsewhere with higher electoral votes.  Plus, we must factor in EASE of state government control.  The naturally colored states are controlled with less money ).

I talked about excusable lies yesterday.  While it sucks to be treated with a condescending attitude by the government, like you were five years old and they knew best, the simple fact is that a group cannot be treated as you yourself hope to be.  For one, it is true-the collective intelligence of a mob is below that of the dumbest member.  For two, people most of the time act stupid even if they are intelligent.  Look at all the hysterical Me Too dogpiling to be politically correct and to “prove” Gore Warming by educated scientists.  Group Think is a thing.

Which right wing conservatives all too gladly also participate in.  We are tribal.  That is just how we “role” ( get it? Roll into our Roles.  Am I wasting my A material on you people again? ).  Group Consensus is a survival trait.  Your Overlords understand this.  Just as they understand greed and laziness.  The problem isn’t group hypnosis, it is whether that is a good or bad thing itself.  A stable and harmonious society?  Brainwashing is good.  A greedy elite throwing everyone else under the bus?  The lies are evil and bad.  It isn’t black and white, but grey.

So, while it was bad that our engineered fear of communism went from a power play and economic salvation to the problem of nuclear annihilation, it did serve a ( relatively ) good purpose.  Today’s fear of communists?  Not so much.  That is pure manipulation for control and profit.  Why did the 90’s suck so bad, culturally?  The “communists” here, the leftist college liberals and the proto-politically correct legions, they have been with us since the start of the collapse in the 60’s.  And the excesses of capitalism were there long before that.

What was different?  Well, the collapse of the Soviet Union presented us with a bit of a pickle, didn’t it?  You can’t just shut down the global police.  Just cutting back a bit almost nuked the California ( with its defense industry spending ) economy.  And you can’t admit that the communism scare was all a big fat lie.  Those folks that lost a son in Vietnam or a relative to nuclear testing fallout would certainly not take kindly to that.  The lie needed to be maintained at all cost.  So they started throwing crap at the wall to see what would stick.

Domestic terrorism was tried out with Waco, Ruby Ridge, the twin towers and with Oklahoma City.  Meh.  That didn’t get many folks worked up to a degree the military industrial complex was secured.  Somalia didn’t exactly go as planned, a repeat of Panama or Grenada.  Communist China could have been the new boogeyman, but no one cared ( China only has enough nukes for defensive purposes ).  Plus, they had all those shiny factories over there, so how hard did we really want to try anyway?  Domestic communists were the way to go, apparently.

Home grown commies deliver several benefits.  You don’t spend much funding them.  A bit of college loans does the trick nicely, and you can’t lose money on those!  The fear and loathing on Main Street America keeps the majority following the Imperial Party line.  The obvious alternative to communism is capitalism, and we were just getting globalism off the ground.  It easily hide behind the myth of free markets and property rights.  And it further divides the population, ignoring their true slave master the banks as they squabble amongst themselves ( race, gender, age and now Vietnam Era levels of political discord ).

We are just asking ourselves here, who benefits?  Who benefits from political correctness?  Those that benefit from a polarized disintegrating culture.  The same people that benefited from Social Security breaking up the three generation household ( three times the households, cheaper factory labor ), who benefited from women’s lib ( diluting the work force ), immigration ( the same, making labor cheaper ), these are the same people that benefited from political correctness.  Racial strife, victim status competition and the destruction of the nuclear family completely destroy any unity on any level of society that could pose a threat.

Plus, it was profitable.  Look at No Fault Divorce.  Passed by the bastards in California in 1969 ( or, passed in ’67, going into effect in 1969 ), the entire flock of bought and paid for Yankee Carpetbagger state governors had almost every state passing the same laws in the early to mid ‘70’s.  Divorce became rather common leading to a generation of Latchkey Kids in the ‘80’s.  By the ‘90’s, that first generation of females hatched by the whores in the ‘70’s were looking at divorce not on a psychological level but a financial one.

Oh, look!  Twice as many single unit rentals for the bankers.  Twice as many car loans.  As a bonus, three times the number of immigrants as the first waves bred like rabbits.  The combination of women entering the work force and college, getting into law since they didn’t have to work too hard at that physically, turning into judges and politicians, and they were all rather nicely in position to turn their Sisters In The Liberation Fight into Lawyer Lottery winners!  You go, girls!  Way to cash in you kids for financial gain.  We knew you were whores and you just proved it.

And by the way, those divorce numbers going down?  That is only because you are finding less suckers to put a ring on gals fingers.  It has gotten so bad they had to move the goalpost yet again and penalize males whether they marry or not.  But that also has an up side for the bankers.  More fertile immigrants will replace those Whites unwilling to breed with Harpy Whores. The White Gals are the water carriers for the PC Brigades, as that is what has paid the bills these last few generations.  Too silly to realize she is the next target.

The commies are not taking over as the Progressives and Politically Correct have taken over and ruined every single institution in this country.  PC’ers and Progs are creations of the bankers, to benefit the bankers.  The commies are too stupid to pour piss out of a boot, and are not a real threat.  Only as far as the bankers want them to be.  And you are getting all Patriot Raging Wood, wanting to go fight the commies with your shiny new AR, before it gets taken away from you.  Which is exactly what the bankers want you to do.

The federal government needs to remain militarily dominant to secure oil overseas.  It is not doing the greatest job ( remember, the PC’ers and Progs have destroyed ALL institutions ).  Pretty soon, the military will not be able to afford to police the globe ( as the PetroDollar is destroyed ) and will come back home.  Where it will need to fight the war against the White Deplorables.  What, you thought they would police the border?  That doesn’t use enough munitions to be profitable.  Better attacking Red States, to do that.  Will they lose?  Of course.

But in the meantime, on their way to losing, they make a tidy profit for the bankers ( war loans ).  Don’t believe for a minute the elite give up on wealth extraction until the very end.  Look at England, at the start of WWI and the end of WWII.  Quite a difference, isn’t it?  The Rothschild’s had already set up America to be the new empire.  They jumped ship from England, and used two wars to extract all the wealth that was left there.  Today they are little more than a version of the Bahama’s, a tax dodge for the wealthy.

There will be a civil war between red and blue states ( not exactly along state lines.  There will be enclaves and break-aways.  But good enough for a basic idea ).  NOT because “commie evil bastards want our body fluids”.  Because the commies and the conservatives are the chumps used by the bankers to pick up the last penny between the cobblestones.  To the commoner, the Little Guy, it makes very little difference who funded the bullet fired at you.  But in a macro sense, it does pay to keep in mind your true enemies. Who is behind the curtain.

A Commie under every bed and one in every closet.  Commies, Commies, everywhere.  The “patriot” news outlets, those I frequent as they are somewhat tied to prepping, are all agog about commies here right now this very second awaiting us to drop our guard so that they may enslave us freedom loving whoevers ( many times, the Evil Jewish Conspiracy is thrown in there, as well ).  Books written in the Sixties are toted out as “proof” that the commies have been conspiring against us, a patient crafty folk, these commies.  I’m almost beshatting myself in fear, I tells ya.

Look, I grew up during the Cold War, like the rest of you.  I joined Reagans Holy War Against The Evil Empire, like a lot of you.  “Kill a commie for mommy” was a beloved promise, and hope.  We were sincere.  “Red Dawn” wasn’t a fantasy but a wargame.  I was just as much against the Soviet Union as anyone else.  But then, I grew up out of childhood.  I learned to question the wisdom of my elders, because the sneaky bastards had been lying to me for their own gain and enrichment.  I learned to think for myself.

I’m not saying that the big lies told by the nation are a bad thing.  All tribes need to believe only they are good and just and all other tribes are evil ( even if they can be used to trade with and find a wife from-they can never be trusted fully as therein lies your doom ).  All religions are used by government as a control mechanism.  All governments lie.  But lying to enrich the elite and lying to protect and advance the people are two different things.  As much as I hate and loathe FDR, his lies at least had purpose.

I don’t for a second believe FDR was anything but an evil asshat, totally bought and paid for by the bankers ( the only proof I need is his gold confiscation mere days after inauguration ).  But at least he lied about things which, in some way, still benefited the people as a whole.  Even if the Great Depression was caused by the bankers, there was still no way we could have gotten out of that mess without turning the economy into a total war production machine ( despite what the Austrian economists say ).

There is no way we could have survived the 1971 economic crash if we were not colonialists controlling the middle east oil ( we would have ended up as the Soviets did after Afghanistan ).  As much as I despise and hate Lincoln for being the supreme douche canoe of all time, one still has to ask the question, if the Industrial Revolution wasn’t allowed to reign supreme here, would we as an Agrarian economy been able to repel any attempts at colonizing us by a European power?  Sometimes deceit and lies still benefit the people.

Perhaps the death of our Republic was actually necessary to save the country.  I don’t have to like that conclusion to acknowledge its truth.  As I don’t like we almost had to fight WWII ( although it wouldn’t have mattered which side we were on, really ).  I say almost, as that could have gone either way.  If we had extended credit we could have become either or both sides arsenal ( the only reason we didn’t, I believe, is the R Family control of FDR ) and stayed neutral.  But be that as it may, another lie you almost have to excuse is that of communism.

We hated the communists when it benefited us, when we invaded Siberia around mid 1918.  We loved them when it benefited us at the start of the Second World War.  And I don’t wish to denigrate anyone’s grandpa, but our military back them was little more than cannon fodder ( 6,600 US casualties on D-Day, over 20k at Iwo Jima ) led by raging flaming idiots ( most German problems were from logistics.  What was the excuse for the Americans? ), and if we hadn’t let the Russians kick the Nazi’s asses first, I don’t think we could have prevailed in Europe.

I know, blasphemy.  Such as when I merely suggest the possibility of a moon hoax.  Not even saying I necessarily buy into that ( hard to argue with the BS third tower implosion on 9/11, less easy to conclude one way or another the moon landing ), just questioning if the late 1960’s government was less than honest.  You know, because they never lied to us about anything like JFK or Vietnam.  The government was lying to us from centuries before the Revolutionary War, but we HAD to have landed on the moon, right?

Our whole economy based on “high technology” might be in danger if we admitted that we weren’t the greatest nation on Earth because we have the best technology ( which OBVIOUSLY explains why three quarters of Silicon Valley workers are foreigners on visa’s ).  Sure enough, we SHOULD have won in Vietnam because of technology! ( “we own the night” ), but those evil commies on the left were traitors and eroded ‘Murican Greatness from within.  Nice scapegoat, yes?  That covers up for a failing economy, Peak Oil, end of imperial greatness and allows the illusion of military greatness.

We NEEDED the Russians to be evil again right after the Second World War.  Only full blown balls to the wall military spending had lifted us out of the Depression ( by fudging the statistics, Austrian economists “prove” that the depression was over in just three years.  They claim evil commie FDR prolonged it with socialist spending.  I have nothing against them.  They are good in theory.  But they also must prove their agenda, good or bad ).  And only a Cold War with the spending needed to build a global dominating nuclear army could keep it saved.

So the communists became evil, overnight.  We were tricked, we tells ya!  ( It's A Trap! meme ).  Like every good lie, you needed backstory and “proof”.  I am certainly not saying communism is fun, desirable or Not Evil.  I’m saying that communism never was a threat.  We used the threat of communism as an excuse to impose our fascist government ( a little too close to National Socialism to sell to the public ).  And I’d say it wasn’t the worst form of government we have tried.  Better than the Cattle Baron era.  Better than the current Rabid PC Agenda era.

It was good because it worked, period.  Without all the philosophical baggage, fascism did make for a very good economy.  We had the factories humming and the great suburban Union Wages middle class prospered.  Population surged ( tell me Turd World immigration surges in our globalist economy is preferable to a fascist White population surge.  I double dog dare you ).  The Nazi’s lifted the starving masses-literally-out of the gutter with fascism, an economy based on total war production.  We emulated them.  And we knew to continue that to continue a performing economy.

Don’t forget, it wasn’t the railroads that birthed the American Industrial economy.  It was Total War ( the Northern War Of Aggression ).  You don’t have to agree philosophically with Gott Damn Yankee Colonialization to admit it worked economically.  Realpolitik is a real thing. You know, hence its name.  I don’t think it cheapens my solidarity with the South to point out the brutal ugly reality behind the curtain.  It is well and good to rally to The Lie De Jure as a youth.  Us old bastards are supposed to be a little wiser.  Fun stuff, continued tomorrow.

ready already

READY ALREADY

A few minions have mentioned the Midwest floods, expressing concern over severity and suggestions of further preps for any needy minions.  On the one hand, as Americans don’t eat much grain directly, and the Chinese might be more impacted, this might be yet another Nothing Burger.  If one squawks about it, there might be an extra helping of crow on that sandwich.  On the other hand, what if this is the relatively ignored final straw that breaks the camels back?  Well, to both I say, meh.  You are either ready already or you just don’t get it.

I’m not saying you don’t need to add to your preps.  I’m saying, you are either already ready or you will never be.  Topping off supplies only matters insofar as increasing comfort levels.  If you have the basics covered already, you don’t need extras, even if you never stop getting them.  Did I add ten percent to my battle rifle ammunition because of the Christchurch false flag shooting?  No, I did it because it went on sale ( actually, looking it up I placed my order six days prior-it almost makes me look smart ).  Did I finally order a 80% AR?

No.  And not because I judged the New Zealand news completely irrelevant.  All the Red Flag Laws being passed here would be a more compelling reason.  It is because while it isn’t the worst idea, I was still overruled by the Lizard King.  While doing a up to date price check on everything ( creeping up, in case you need to know ), stressing over where to put financial surplus ( yeah, White People Problems! ), in the end I felt most at peace with the decision to pay back the canned butter depleted savings.

I know that sounds silly.  I actually can hear myself.  Don’t I know that tangibles reign supreme and hyperinflation this way cometh?  Why, yes, yes I do.  But I had to listen to my gut.  The one telling me economic armageddon is here.  It isn’t telling me to buy more guns or to stock up on groceries or to can meat before the prices increase.  I could be way off.  But what else can you do but roll the dice?  Not that I’m playing with the rent or retirement funds.  I’m only gambling surplus.  Because I’m already ready, and have been.

Should you have run down to the feed store the day you heard about the flooding?  Sure.  It wasn’t like they ever have much in stock anyway ( I’ve written about this before, how most stores stock very little wheat.  Our towns second grain store closed their doors, so now the most you can expect is about 300-500 pounds on average to be in stock [ can you say, “just in time inventory”? ] which pencils out to Diddly Squat ).  It never hurts to get a bit more.  But you also should already have what you need, prior.

The whole point of stockpiling is not to live longer.  You can take a bullet the first hour of the collapse, or get run over by a bus tomorrow.  No, the point is ultimately Peace Of Mind.  The GOAL is to be supplied way past the point you’d reasonably expect to live afterwards.  But the POINT has always been to sleep better at night.  If every little thing that gets the news whores dripping crotch fluid, causing them erect nipples and clenching sphincters, if those cause you worry, you aren’t ready.  You should only be using tragedies to remind you to check preps.

Do you need a bit of a Top-Off?  Could those items stand to be rotated?  I told you the last two times about the toilet paper issue, when I got industry reports ( did you know the majority of our exports are NOT food or fracking oil, not Hollywood movies, but rather paper products? ).  What did I do?  I had to find extra room for more TP, because I was already well stocked.  I didn’t NEED more, but it was cheap enough to deep store extra.  I certainly won’t buy more ( except day-to-day replacement ) when prices rise.

I don’t panic.  I try to gaze into the crystal ball and prudently shop ahead of the crowd.  But the hall closet is already full of TP, the freezer is never allowed to get low, I always have six months to a year of dry goods for regular meals, and I already own far more ammo for my bolt gun than a lot of preppers have for their semi’s.  I probably already have more in savings than 90% of the ninety percent of the population who are poor.  I’ve lost track of my long term food storage.

This is the main reason I’m no longer concerned with timing the collapse.  It could happen tomorrow and I’d be fine.  I certainly don’t want it to happen ( I don’t want to get old, either, but I don’t get a vote ).  Now, remember how much I made last year?  I averaged exactly $300 a month.  That is super, as far as I’m concerned.  Minions to the rescue!  I help out with utilities by giving the NOL $100 a month, spend at most $100 on groceries and have the extra $100 to prep with.

This has probably been pretty standard for me, even when making far more.  I don’t spend that every month.  Some months I put that into savings, or stock up ahead of time for gifts, or pay back depleted funds I used to get a super bargain.  Sometimes I do nothing.  Other times, more.  But my whole point is, when you prep frugal it takes almost nothing in funding.  And when you are already ready, it is just a hobby.  It isn’t life or death, and hence not stressful.  But what if you are not ready?  Should you be worried, and about what?

As always, Food First.  And that isn’t because of the Midwest flooding.  Oh, they say, extra grain was in the silos, and they are wet and ruined, so you should worry extra.  Did you run down to the feed store already?  If you didn’t, I hold out no hope for you ever being ready.  We have had a LOT of food scares these last few years the Bison Global Media Empire has been publishing.  Remember that rice shortage?  The drought and ban on exporting wheat in Russia?  The flooding in Pakistan that wiped away a significant amount of crops?

Remember those couple of years with drought globally?  If all of that didn’t motivate you to buy food storage for twenty cents a day ( bare bones grain, minimum calories ), while you make $8 an hour minimum wage ( forty days food PER HOUR!!!! ), you will never be ready for something as severe as an apocalypse.  Don’t want to eat JUST wheat?  Fine.  Have it anyway, just in case.  What, you think you can’t barter it?  Industrial grown grain right now is like industrial mined silver.  It is being given away far below value.

The example given is a fifteen cent cup of gasoline.  It propels a small passenger car two miles up hill.  Now, buy fifteen cents worth of food and try pushing that car yourself, with those calories.  You won’t come close.  Oil has that kind of hidden energy we simply take for granted.  Minus oil, you will be amazed what everything costs.  Especially food.  Food, grown organically, might cost close to zero to make, but the demand from non-farmers makes it very expensive.  Without oil.  Stock all your Oil Miracle items NOW, and don’t ever think you have enough.

If you are not ready for Midwest floods, you cannot buy enough food now.  Not because there will or will not be shortages.  Because one time, if this isn’t it, it will be THE time that the crop failures do bring on catastrophe.  You need to already be ready.  Then, the next time it floods, or there is a drought, or the PetroDollar is crushed, or terrorists blow up the Houston refiners that provide about 20% of the nation’s fuel, you need not worry.  Once you no longer worry, I become mere entertainment worthy of adulation and support.

Identify the trend.  If you believe that the US imperial decline has picked up speed, and that resources are already contracting on a globe swarming with excess population which breeds as fast as the GMO crops can be shipped, it is easy peasy to spot the trends.  In the end it all goes to crap.  If you know it all goes the way of the dodo bird, you know to expect all modern arrangement to unravel.  If you understand that is already happening, Collapse Question #1 is not if but when.  Knowing it WILL happen, how to prep?

Even WITH the PetroDollar still barely afloat and even WITH the fracking oil doubling our domestic energy supply, we are still either at economic collapses door, or nearing there.  With everything going “right”, as much as it can, what happens when any little thing goes wrong?  You know the trend, you can prepare.  The trend is collapse of centralized power and the usurpation of such by local entities.  At first, it will strictly be economic.  All the big sharks in the little pools are bankers and lawyers, or politicians.  They only understand money, as that is all they ever knew.

The beginning of the end is unlawful taxes to insane levels ( as the fed gov inflates instead of taxes, local govs can only increase taxes ), followed immediately by draconian enforcement of same.  This is why you store silver.  That is the only thing that will pace inflation and tax increases ( being able to cash in the silver is another matter, of course.  Have extra to account for black market extra liquidation costs ).  I won’t argue with you here about the desirability of keeping a grid tied house and wasting silver on it.

Regardless of your dwelling or location, silver stockpiled for property taxes is a god idea.  Since silver is cheap right now, but will rise in real terms plus beat inflation, only retards are not buying it for this purpose ( if you are headed to a family members home for a bug out, stock the silver for his property taxes ).  Better to store food now, or grow it now, than stocking silver to get food later.  Same with ammunition.  Prepping for hyperinflatrion isn’t all that difficult.  The huge variable is that property tax by the local mafia.

Now, in addition to taxes, you must worry about that local government becoming interested in far more than just screwing you financially.  Most likely, they will want to become the new supreme overlords of your area.  In almost all cases, unless you are related and can relate and communicate with those people, they will suck as new bosses.  Think, feudal order.  You will have about one chance at combating this New World Order, and that is at the same initial stage of financial rapine, PRIOR to them consolidating power and garnering all critical resources.  You must strike while they control only money.

Right now, most counties have skeleton crews.  And as soon as money troubles begin, they will cut into those numbers even more.  Really, for the economic impact that they wield, county governments are pretty miniscule ( obviously assuming this isn’t a small area packed with suburbs, but more rural ).  How far away is back-up for deputies, and how vulnerable are sheriff substations and admin workers offices?  If property taxes skyrocket and people are losing their homes, how hard would it be to find sympathetic fellow insurgents?  They are under-protected and vulnerable for it.  Just saying.

So, you have real money to protect you, as well as relatively easy forces of arms to push the issue of theft if applicable.  Just keep in mind that waiting too long and they beef up military forces by militia and start controlling waterways, roads, farm production and etcetera.  Where is the state and feds during all this?  They, too, are overrepresented with costly workers producing nothing ( think “safety officers” in schools, safely collecting their pensions after stepping aside to safety during a school shooting ).  Unless your area is strategically important, most likely higher order gov workers tend to their own areas of concern.

This is a good thing.  The trend ( remember that one? ) is towards decentralization.  Right now, we enjoy our federally delivered overseas oil ( fun filled fact-Mexico is now importing oil.  Didn’t I point out 6-8% production decline some time ago?  Helllooo, Peak Oil and Math ), and all the federal money from welfare.  It sure is nice.  And, unsustainable.  That which cannot continue will not.  Why not take advantage of the trend, and declare independence from the consequences of hyperinflation?  Which comes AFTER the benefits thereof.  If you can defeat the Banker Enforcers.

This country is going to split up, it is a given.  In this case, the trend isn’t our friend.  Look, I know I’m cynical and jaded.  But I really was patriotic.  Even with all the flaws, it was our country.  I loved it, even after all the problems and the fall from grace of Republic.  And it can be a great country again.  It just cannot be in its present form.  Those forces profiting off its destruction first must withdraw onto their own rotting corpse of a new land.  Their own perceived paradise.  Not all the passengers are worth saving.

You don’t need some national party or organization.  That will not work, not when the current power holds the money supply.  All you need to do is tend to your own knitting, in your own little corner of paradise.  Decentralization is the trend.  Guerrilla forces just need to keep fighting long enough so that the occupier goes home.  That is what you need to focus on.  Not changing everyone else, but just understanding a divorce is needed and worth fighting for.  And being willing to convince those not of your tribe to immigrate to areas better suited to their temperament.
