GREATEST GENERATION

I always hated the self congratulatory label The Greatest Generation gave themselves.  Like they saved the world from evil Nazi’s.  And should forever more be rewarded for it.  I don’t think poorly of them now, which is what this article is about.  But I’d like to put my dislike in perspective.  I had a very good reason for my hatred.  This was the generation that sowed the seeds of our current evil occupying FedGov.  No, they weren’t the first, nor the last, to help our elite enslave us, but they did so with such glee and blindness and self promotion that it stuck in my craw.

A bunch of idiots thought it was a good thing to go along with Group Think and accept such nastiness as all these new taxes to help fund widening our empire and killing our own troops for the profit of Wall street.  A past generation said, “hump you, Yankee Scum, my allegiance is to my State, not your factory owning elite run federal government”, and more importantly the Yankee masses said, “hump you Lincoln and your draft and your Negro’s you allowed to live in our city” and tried to burn the place down.  Now THAT is standing up to your oppressive elite!

But what did they do just fifty years later?  Everyone goes along with vilifying the Germans, even all those many German-Americans living here, and allowing themselves to be drafted and killed for a BS cause that American had no dog in the fight.  They allowed the bankers to take their gold and their guns, and the FedGov to burn them and their families to death during peaceful protests.  Then the “greatest generation” swallowed the BS about the False Flag attack on Pearl Harbor and go fight and die in a war that their country had no need to be involved in.

The “greatest generation” didn’t have a problem with the fedgov using them as nuclear fallout test subjects, or LSD brainwashing test subjects, or putting them all in the crosshairs of Soviet missiles for the profit of the military contractors.  In short, the American public had turned into passive sheep fighting and jostling each other to be the first in line to be sheared.  It was Gott Damned embarrassing and it produced generations of clones that took whatever humping up the ass gladly and screamed out in orgasmic delight, “thank you sir, may we have another?!”.

And there is a lot of truth to all that, regardless of your viewpoint.  The feds learned to bribe the masses so that they gladly accepted their conditioning, instead of merely using the stick without a carrot.  However, as much as I love to hate, I have to now admit that is wasn’t merely greed and stupidity that drove an entire generation to gladly decline to rebel when they easily could have, before the Leviathan got too big and entrenched.  I now understand why they blinded acted obediently and it wasn’t JUST because they finally got a piece of the pie.  Nor was it because of the trauma of the Great Depression.

In simplistic terms, Americans were a united tribe for a century.  Prior, we had been State citizens that cooperated when it struck us and didn’t when we felt no need to ( the fedgov goes back to the high jacking of the Articles Of Confederation by the asswhores with the Constitution, but although it had an embryonic form it couldn’t impose its full will until Industrialization ).  Since The War Of Northern Industrialist And Banker Subjugation, Occupation And Exploitation, the South was a colony of the Yankees.  It was drained economically ( only recovering to the point that Yankee retirees were not deprived of their luxuries as they carpetbagged ).

So, Southerners were NOT part of the tribe.  They never were accepted.  They were continually used, such as for cannon fodder and continued cheap agricultural commodities and recently as scabs to break northern Unions, but they have never been accepted as part of the tribe.  The accepted excuse for the number of military bases in the South is that the mild winters allow year round training, and even some Southerners see it as a economic boon, but don’t mistake its original intention ( WWII mass and quick training ) with its continued one.  Just a continuation of occupation.  With the number of returning vets, it wouldn’t have done to allow the South to formant revolution once again, questioning Yankee hegemony.

But with the South used for free commodities the factories could hum at high profits ( soon to be joined with free commodities from the Philippines and Central America.  Sorry, LibertarianTards, the free market capitalism you know and love is dependent on free commodities and free money.  That is the “free” part of free market ) and a small bit of that could trickle down to buy social stability.  It was a trickle while the factories ran on coal and hydro, but soon turned into a flood as oil came online ( and the fruits of overseas colonies ).  The tribe was fully formed from these benefits prior to all the nastiness being accepted such as the Federal Reserve, Income Tax, Prohibition, drug regulation and prohibition and etc. ).

Now, it might sound like I’m just looping around and calling everyone greedy and prostitutes once again, but I assure you I am not.  A tribe doesn’t work that way.  It isn’t JUST about bribing malcontents like we do today with the Blacks ( when foreigners and PC Princesses accuse any Whites of being racist because we don’t automatically embrace multiculturalism, refusing to understand we are xenophobic for a reason, they obviously have never been in real contact with any Black tribe member.  “Black” as in a ghetto member culturally rather than geographically.  To fear and hate in return is as natural as breathing ).

Tribes are mutual support societies.  The individuals pledge fealty to the group, placing the tribe above themselves or family, and in return gain an exponential increase in strength themselves.  So when I say that White Non-Southern Americans ( or that Blacks ) were a tribal group, I mean the individuals sacrificed for the group for a reason.  It made them stronger and more secure.  But you don’t just have a one way street here.  It must be reciprocal.  The government shares in the spoils and the individuals place the group interests above their own.

That was the melting pot.  Immigrants gaining interest and benefits by becoming part of the tribe, by sacrificing to the tribe in return for economic security.  That is why Americans of German origin gave up their cultural heritage in exchange for being American ( during the frenzy of anti-German propaganda that the elites whipped up to get Americans interested in fighting in WWI, there included a purge of German language courses in public schools and other measures that could only have succeeded with the help of the local German population.  There were a LOT of German-Americans in the population.  Back during the War Of Northern Aggression a great number of Yankee soldiers were first or second generation Germans, having fled from some fresh hell over there.  I think it was an attempted anti-royal revolution or something similar.

As far as the government keeping peace by feeding everyone, just remember this little ditty.  Desirability has nothing to do with ability.  It is that simple.  No matter how much you want to do something, you need more than a Tony Robbins positive attitude.  I think many folks forget this, as we have wallowed in obscene surplus most of our formative years.  Most of our jobs are nothing more than consuming oil.  It might be hard to picture too little oil being available for everything we desire ( I’d love to be wrong, believe me ).

Once the food cannot be distributed, it is Game Over.  Until that point, you need to understand that everything else will be on the chopping block.  Employment, shelter, transportation, credit, grid power.  Everything is at the mercy of a failing economy and a failing energy system.  To get through the Semi-Stair Step phase, you need to be able to muddle through with nothing from others except some fresh food, and as little as that as possible.  And this is where the Pretty Pony Preppers kill me.  They think two thousand dollars in freeze dried foods are there in case they become unemployed.  Hell, even my favorite Yuppie Scum Semi-Auto Stockpiling Montana living Survivalist ( Commander Zero ), knows enough to stockpile regular groceries for the time prior to the die-off.

This is because Zero, no matter how many magazines and semi’s are never enough, is a pretty smart guy ( I wouldn’t  look forward to reading his “what I bought at the gun store last summer” reports if he was a fool ).  Are you?  Do you have a six month pantry, NOT including your survival food?  Why not?  It costs no extra money in the long run.  It SAVES you money.  Everything except perishables is bought on sale.  Not enough space?  Really?  I live in a 600 square foot apartment ( with no more than an additional 100 in the basement for groceries ) and I have six months of regular eating.  Regular, as in meat every dinner.

Out at the B-POD I don’t have quite as much, call it three to four months canned meat to go with all the grains.  And all that was bought on minimum wage, on twenty to twenty-five hours a week.  Now, it takes just $100 a month to maintain that.  That is for two people.  Granted, we still get some Food Bank food as the NOL still works there, but it isn’t too much more than fresh fruit I could cut back on and factory bread I could replace with home made.  Giving up most butter and all snack chips due to heartburn certainly helped get that food budget way down ( I’m better off with and am actually craving a couple of pieces of dry toast for the nightly TV snack, instead or Doritos or similar fake food ).

No one is saying you positively need to duplicate exactly what you eat now.  Just close enough.  Less than one pound of 79cent chicken or $1.29 pork, for two people, and a quarter’s worth of rice or pasta or potatoes keeps dinner at under a buck a night per person.  The only thing we would be short on come food inflation would be potatoes.  During the day eat your bread and oatmeal and whatever.  Right now, food prices at the grocery store are not bad at all.  You want to wait on that?  Who knows how long it will last ( it is all subsidized by restaurant eaters and Yuppie Scum buying bakery sheet cakes and deli fried chicken ).

And do I really, really need to bring up Junk land again?  I was so sad when I couldn’t find cheap land anymore and then a kind loyal minion brought up LandWatch.com.  The heavens parted and once again $1k junk land is available.  Hell, there is even a couple of $500 lots.  Sure, it is one tenth an acre in the backwoods of Arkansas, but why is that a bad thing?  The counties these lots are in are rural with predominately White populations ( sorry to be un-multiculturalist, but mixing cultures is a Gott-damn-guarentee of race war later on-if you have been warned and ignore that, the human races future gene pool thanks you ).

And yes, Sally, I understand that you feel all vulnerable and butt hurt at the prospect of being without a car, but that is the future.  I don’t make the rules, I just report them.  If you are worthless and weak and cannot handle that, look into Texas tax land in the east, where you’ll find semi-urban lots you can park an RV on and still walk or bike to the bus stop, minutes away from shopping and hospitals ( I can’t remember the minion written blog on this-it was years ago-anyone?  I believe it was the Dallas area ).  Otherwise, you need to plan on driving just getting more and more expensive, eventually out of your pay grade.

Okay, now you have no rent, no grocery shopping ( if you are off-grid, substitute the frozen meat with home canned ) and no transportation costs.  You have stockpiled clothes, solar energy and silver for property tax.  There is your six months on cost free living where it doesn’t matter about government benefits.  Things might last longer than that, but you can easily stretch things with a bit of extra wheat ( again, NOT part of your survival stash ) and by grubbing for new food the whole six months.  Use your cash savings even on high priced food.  The money is just going to get less worthy and the prices higher.

I really don’t think government can hold things together past a year ( if that ) with their welfare payments shrinking through cuts or through purchasing power shrinking from inflation.  They could, but at least you’ve eliminated touching your survival food an extra year.  At least you could survive adequately without money ( or, very close to zero).  It is just another form of insurance and it costs almost nothing.  Hell, the grocery store savings could pay for the land, or at least the canning equipment.

Just remember that the Welfare State was never possible before the insanely luxurious surplus in carbon fuels.  The end of those fuels is the end of the Welfare State.  It might not yet spell the end of the Nation State, and that is what you are preparing for.

If I were some rich puke that got all my money as an indirect government contractor and I listened to Rush Limbaugh, I’d be all, “bitches, sticky paws off MY money”.  Never mind that about a million poor bastards died to make our imperial colonialization in which the world as a whole subsidized you and the vast majority of citizens with free goods and without that wealth pump we would still be a nation of dirt farmers ( all our oil stolen by a real power across the sea ).  Never mind your parents and grandparents benefited greatly from the looting and exploitation.  It’s all your money.

I don’t mean to sound like Obammy with that ridiculous “the government made that money for you”.  What I mean is that you simply don’t see how pervasive and widespread the government is in the economy.  You don’t see how dependent you are, usually indirectly, of government spending.  And that as soon as the economy ceases being able to be manipulated then you’ll be quite shocked and dismayed just how dependent you were.  I’m only asking that you do not allow your political passion for a freedom we lost long ago to blind you to danger.  Is that too much to ask?

And it is far from mere Tax & Spend.  Go back fifty years for that to be a viable argument.  Now it is mostly debt.  Without debt, almost every corporation would be bankrupt ( a fine example of indirect government spending or dictate.  The central bank survives by the interest on the national debt.  What’s one percent on twenty friggin trillion?  But because the government allowed the bank to take over, and protects it, the corporations can also borrow at one percent ).  No local or state government could exist as it currently does without debt.  The FedGov could just print and spend, but everyone else would be screwed.

So you don’t have the simplistic problem of the government not taking in enough taxes.  Without debt, the local government could tax your property at 10% annually and there still probably wouldn’t be enough money for them to operate.  Do you wonder why it costs more and more which sees less and less get done?  More and more debt.  Eventually the interest rate cannot get much lower and spending cuts must accompany increased borrowing.  You might make an argument that taxes will be raised, and it is true that the government never met a stone it didn’t try to squeeze blood from, but we have already gotten to the point that there are very few taxpayers.

I don’t mean too few who pay taxes.  Someone on Food Stamps is paying taxes-they are all built into the price, hidden quite well.  I mean, the wealth engine is shutting down.  Oil has been our wealth machine for over a century ( over a century and a half if you put coal and oil together as carbon fuels ).  Conventional oil is decreasing in supply ( and that is even before the end of the PetroDollar stops imports [ unless it is oil for grain ] ) which means our wealth is decreasing.  To get actually taxes, a share of the wealth from activity other than government spending or credit creation, you need wealth being created.

( and, yes, you knew I was going to waste a space debunking your fantasy fuel fracking.  Which takes conventional oil to pump and all the credit they can throw at it to get it above ground.  All fracking oil does is keep our transportation fleet moving.  It doesn’t create wealth, it uses it.  There isn’t enough net energy contained in it to qualify as real energy.  And this is HALF of our domestic liquid fuel.  Now add ethanol, another near net loss fuel.  See how little real oil we produce ourselves-and that includes the now drastically shrinking Alaska and Gulf Of Mexico fields.  And THOSE two, which saved our ass in the Seventies, surely by now qualify as such lower EROI fuels as to be fracking-like.  I would back of the envelope calculate that of the 18 million barrels a day we use [ it could be slightly lower by now ] we have only about 3 million barrels of conventional crude extracted domestically ).

Which is to say, our crap is very weak and our wealth creation pump is pretty close to shut down.  Why do you think I worry so much about the PetroDollar?  It is the straw that breaks the camels back.  But, to return to the welfare state, you can probably be assured of two things.  Inflation and program cuts.  We all list these as if they are self evident, but what do you do when there is no employment and your Food Stamps are NOT indexed to inflation?  Okay, yes, they are indexed just as Social Security and Medicare is.  By a patently false system that at a minimum reports inflation as only a third of what it actually is to the average peon out there.

Programs probably won’t be cut on the federal level, but you can bet the ranch that the cities and states will not give two thoughts or two craps about screwing the poor ( which soon includes you ) to keep themselves solvent.  Look how quick in 2009 the roads stopped being plowed or repaired, how few police cruisers swung by your neighborhood ( or how few even responded to calls that did not include a cooling corpse ).  Look how quick the states drained the retirement funds which isn’t looking too good ten years on.  The states WILL screw you.  Bank on it.

The FedGove will make cosmetic cuts here and there.  Like when the BLM cut fire suppression or fighting, dumping it on the states ( which then dumped it on the counties ).  But I think mostly you can just count on inflation from them.  Once QE isn’t pumping up the stock market and real estate, inflation is going to channel back to the streets.  And the feds will still deny you pay rent or buy groceries or gas, giving the official inflation rate as close to nothing, a Soviet Dictate Whitewash.  You’ll forever be losing purchasing power, on your cash, on your benefits and on any retirement.  The solutions are nothing you want to hear, because you’ve heard them before and showed distaste and disdain.  Regardless, we finish up tomorrow with that.

After years of working like a bare assed savage to convince you that civilization is collapsing and you need to assume the worst, it is now time to consider the far more frightening Business As Usual.  I still believe in the waterfall collapse ( Seneca Cliff if you follow the Italian Collapse Dude ), most emphatically NOT the long slow centuries collapse of yore ( if for no other reason than this time we have an Oil Collapse, not an Agricultural Collapse ), so we are NOT contemplating the Druid Dude collapse here.  That simply isn’t going to happen.  But you can still have a Waterfall Collapse after getting a Too Long Semi-Stair Step Collapse.

Let’s play semantics, refuge of the lawyers.  A Stair Step Collapse is the type of collapse we have all witnessed for the last fifty years.  Things get worse, we adapt and overcome and get used to less than before.  It isn’t really a collapse but a decline.  A Waterfall Collapse is a long slow decline followed by a sudden drop off a cliff.  The danger of the Waterfall is that you are so deafened by the roar of the water and so blinded by the spray that you have no idea when the long slow downward motion stops and the plunge over begins.

The attraction, or the Good News/Bad News is that while it is a collapse, you’ve prepared.  You just need to tuck your head into your shell and wait out the Die-Off which will be quite rapid.  Not only is the Waterfall Collapse the highly probable outcome ( the Perfect Storm sees cascading failures ), it has the attraction of being relatively easy to prepare for.  So, what do I mean by the Semi-Stair Step Collapse?  I mean, the period right before the plunge takes just a bit too long.  I mean, we don’t collapse fast enough ( there is no such thing as an overnight collapse outside Yellowstone or an Asteroid or global nuclear war or EMP.  They are possible but highly improbable ).

They are the perennial favorites of the Yuppie Scum Preppers who NEED them to happen to instantly wipe out the insane amounts of debt they used to stockpile their mountaintop cement fortress stuffed with semi-auto’s and freeze dried foods, but most likely they see the sheriffs deputy evicting them after unemployment rather than them seeing their Jubilee salvation.  They don’t want to see a repeat of the Great Depression.  Yet, having said that, us Waterfall Collapse advocates are in just as much danger of relying on a strategy depending on a repeat of the Great Depression ( with the benefit of the Safety Net enacted afterwards as being the difference this time ).

We are fighting the last war.  By relying on the welfare state, we might be conjuring into being a dependency that could prove our undoing.  And we ALL rely on the welfare state.  Any Libertarian Retard that claims otherwise is an embarrassing proof that studying economics and politics is no education at all.  The Austrian School and Constitutional Studies are two of the biggest dead end methods of thinking you can contemplate ( aside from the numbers of angels pin dancing ).  No economy can survive without the national military ( no private security firm can compete with free conscripts and free war material the nation state has at their disposal, AND financing, in near unlimited quantities ).  And believing the Constitution is anything other than the power grab of the FedGov over the States is glittery unicorn farts.

We could argue over the feasibility of a true free market, but you can’t argue there ever was one in practice.  Nor can you argue that an energy surplus is required for capitalism, even if it isn’t central bank mercantilism.  As for the Constitution, you had better give up the fantasy that a document acknowledges freedom.  Freedom is only what you win from the barrel of a gun.  Falling back on the Constitution is a lazy, weak, unrealistic way of insisting on freedom rather than fighting for it ( no, I do NOT call for revolution.  Why die for those advocating LESS freedom?  See the quote by Napoleon about letting your enemy defeat himself ).

Who of us doesn’t rely on the nation state for income?  You work for them indirectly, almost every single one of you.  Your company relies on the granting of monopoly by the state, if no other monopoly than that on freedom from prosecution for their illegal business practices.  Or your customers are employees or contractors of the state.  90-99% of my income derives from commission from Amazon sales, which breaks the law on business practices, swindles its stockholders and gets subsidized postal service shipping.  Am I complaining?  Hell no!

I’m also not waving the Free Market flag on my job.  I know the taxpayer is indirectly paying me.  And that doesn’t even begin to cover Food Stamps and Social Security.  Two programs I rely on to be there in case they are needed.  I am NOT pointing a quivering finger and proclaiming shame on those at the government teet.  First, none of us have a choice and second, it isn’t money from the taxpayers but money borrowed from thin air that we are benefiting from ( rich humpers love to proclaim how they are getting screwed by welfare bitches and how it is all their money and how they need to pay zero taxes.  Fine. Don’t call the cops or the fire department, and don’t ask the Navy to escort your imported goods over the oceans after you quite working and sit atop your pile of cash ).

By “fighting the last war” I mean we all have the expectation that as long as government lasts it will retain the welfare state to keep order.  In effect, we rely on uppity Blacks in constant rebellion so that the welfare state stays able and willing to disperse emergency aid to us.  But what if we were to go through a period of NO government assistance, enough to deplete our stores, PRIOR to the collapse?  We deny it outright, because this alternative is too undesirable to contemplate, but you know you can have a full blown decline  prior to the die-off, which lasts so long it becomes itself far more dangerous.  Why/how is that possible and other musings continue tomorrow.

electronic dreams

ELECTRONIC DREAMS

Digital sucks.  But I also love digital.  Back in the sixth grade, I had proclaimed my desire to become a writer.  Surprisingly, that one stuck ( unlike all my other ill formed career wishes as a young lad ), but I never practiced all that much.  You hear all those heart wrenching stories about how an aspiring author laboriously penciled out stories by longhand, or worked for the school newspaper, or dictated stories to dear old Mom to write out.  I did none of those things.

Why?  Because pre-personal computer writing was too slow.  I had a manual typewriter, and I think I might, MIGHT, have gotten perhaps a total of a half dozen pages ever written on it.  After countless pages thrown away with more White-Out than typewriter ink on them, I gave up on ever trying to write that way ( no matter how bad you think my spelling is, it was exponentially worse several million words ago ).  And forget writing by hand.  School demanded enough of that in class and as homework and I had no desire to do that as a hobby.  Plus, I was enamored with fiction when I first started reading, so naturally I tried my incapable even to this day hand at that.

Once computers came along, I knew that my long ago desire to write was actually based on reality rather than a childhood perceived desire.  I had read enough survivalist non-fiction to both have a broad base of knowledge but also to know I could do much better.  The computer allowed my spelling and lack of experiencing thought-to-page process to no longer be a handicap.  In the late ‘80’s I charged my first Apple Mac to an insanely generous balance credit card, for I believe about four months gross wages ( today it costs a week ).  Thus began my fifteen plus year adventure in losing money to write.  It wasn’t a huge expense as far as a college education, and it was the first time since my MOS school that I was passionate about a trade.

If it hadn’t been for a digital editor, I never would have become a writer.  Even using one finger to write, I can type fast enough to keep up with my stream of thought.  I don’t have to worry about spelling or grammatical errors ( yes, I know I don’t worry about grammar even after editing.  I just make sure it makes sense to me, not you.  This isn’t even English, but American.  I respectfully spit on the Grammar Nazi’s ).  So, as a writer, I love digital.  But I hate digital once my writing is done.  I fought giving up on paper printing as long as I could.  I fought publishing online just as hard.

Now, granted, I was a bit blind to the-shall we say-beginners quality of my writing.  The time was that of ‘Zines and I had little to no competition there, so I was acceptable on those terms.  I just didn’t realize that I hadn’t put in enough bad writing to get to the point of good writing ( I don’t agree with the contention you need to produce X million words as practice.  I’d say it was more of reaching the point where you stop forcing a sentence and your mind presents it to you automatically.  It goes from struggling with a term paper to seamlessly telling a tale around the campfire ).

So, granted, a lot of my writing stored in a digital medium deserved to both die and was not worthy of killing tress over.  What I hate about digital is how it has replaced paper, how it went from a permanent ( baring a fire or flood, obviously ) storage medium to a VERY impermanent one.   I was reminded of this the other day when a minion gave me the life span of a DVD ( I had known this but forgotten, a normal condition even before aging ).  Two decades seems fine if you are talking about a transfer of data, but woefully inadequate when you need to save it for later reference.

Digital has a lot of advantages.  I’d rather read a newspaper ( if they still existed in any meaningful sense ) online and not kill trees.  For Pulp Fiction entertainment, I love how e-books allow much cheaper fare.  Granted, there is now no filter to stop the flow of terrible, terrible, horrid and putrid writing.  But that is what Kindle Unlimited is for, to not waste any money on bad writing ( after five months, I finally gave up-yet again-on KU.  It is fine for lower denominator fiction, pure time filling entertainment like TV, but I was beginning to forget what really good writing was like.  Writing that taught as it was also enjoyable.  I need to go back to print and non-buffet books ).

Yet, the problem with digital ( past the creation phase, or that of distribution ) is that everything is treated like yesterdays fish wrap.  Nothing will last.  Should you own thousands of books on a quality drive as reference?  Sure.  Should you wait to print them out until later?  No.  If you are serious about a reference library, pay the $25 a year to Adobe for a PDF To Word converter ( must be used online ) and take all your PDF books and turn them into Microsoft Word ( I imagine they offer other converters-I only put up with MS as it is a standard that allows me to publish on Lulu or Amazon ) and then edit down the books.

Most books by market necessity have filler for that 200-300 page minimum required to get a book sold for the $20-$30.  You can edit down the critical information to booklet size, more than likely.  A history book might need 600 pages of detail to deliver the necessary point and cannot be shortened, but the more hands on instructional books can be condensed.  Then get yourself a dot-matrix printer.  I have never seen even a laser printer that comes close to as cheap as typewriter ribbons on dot matrix are per printed page.  The printer costs two to four times as much ( $200 ) but you’ll recoup that cost soon if you are building a reference library.  And most seem to be manufactured for business or government use and are probably not as cheap/throw-away as retail inkjet ( this is variable, of course )( I’m also unsure of ink longevity.  I think a lot of laser printers have short lived ink, but I could be way off on this ).

If you remember Toffler and “Future Shock”, you’ll remember the fabulous for the time discussion of the coming throw away society.  He got some things wrong, but not by much.  We never went to single use paper clothing, but the cotton clothing you buy at Wal-Mart today is good for little more than six months use.  So that was close.  It has been decades since I read the book, so I can’t remember what he said about information, if anything.  It is a shame ALL information is now digital and highly fragile.  They threw the baby out with the bathwater when too much went digital too fast.  Enjoy the electronic dreams that turn to nightmares once the grid goes down.

I normally don’t write articles “ripped from the headlines”.  They don’t age well, everyone else is doing it and I’m much more specialer.  That said, other subjects inspired by the news is okay.  So let’s tie in the latest school shooting ( as of today’s writing.  I’m sure there will be more by the time I post this in a week ) and how it all ties into the collapse and preparedness.  No, I do NOT believe this was yet again another claim twenty years later for more gun control.  ONCE, twenty years ago, Clinton passed gun control after a school shooting and dozens and dozens of mass shootings later, we still don’t have another episode of new gun control ( only on the local scale, but those commie fecal holes would have used any pretext ).

When do the “pry it out of my cold dead hands” gun freaks give up on this tired scare tactic?  My goodness people, just the thought of gun control doubled or tripled the amount of guns and ammunition in civilian stockpiles.  So the fear mongering is a good thing.  But you need to stop the Chicken Little/Cry Wolf on the national gun control thing, already.  Gun owners accuse gun controllers of using the still warm bodies of gunshot victims for political gain, but you are doing the same riling up the men folk and livestock yourselves.  Not to say gun control won’t be a thing, but school shootings leading to gun control doesn’t seem a high probability after so many years of false alarms.

You don’t even need a scare, other than that of imminent collapse of civilization, to light a fire under your ass to go to your gun store.  Don’t worry if they are going to ban semi-auto’s or not.  Whatever gun you have, go stock up on ammunition reloading components for it.  Have enough for years of guerrilla war, both from the coming civil unrest and nation breakup, crime and post-apocalypse defense.  Then relax.  Take common sense steps to have a hideaway unregistered weapon.  If poor, a pipe gun.  If rich, a pour-your-own AR lower kit and a parts kit ( I say a pour kit rather than 80% receiver since the pour kit allows you to do more than one gun if you so desire ).  You could probably even do it under $400.

So, if it isn’t a tinfoil hat conspiracy to steal your guns, what is going on, besides the continuation of the 1960’s mind control shtick the CIA and other intelligence agencies pioneered?  If there is any effort from that direction, using prescription drugs ( Ritalin and such ) rather than LSD, what is the end game?  I think it is nothing more than job security.  You don’t even need to plan anything.  Kids ( and many grown kids ) love first person shooter video games.  Put them of mood altering drugs at the same time you emasculate them and give them a good high from violence, and what do you think is naturally going to happen?

The drugs are pushed in the interest of doctor money grubbing ( necessary to pay for the insurance and education money grubbing ) and the teachers love a decrease in disruption caused by hormone saturated males ( I’d say teenage males have no business sitting all day “learning”.  Apprentice their asses, already ).  Any violence resulting is welcomed by the LEO and military community.  More crime to pretend to fight ( if we have any time left over from revenue collections on the roads and in asset forfeiture ) and more violent-prone males used to micromanagement.  The CIA?  Well, they just love humping with people for their own use later.

But those are just the direct results.  Don’t forget that cool “divide and conquer” paradigm.  You need everyone fearing everyone else and everyone fighting everyone else for the diminishing spoils of declining empire.  Why would you solve a problem by taking all the guns?  Why not make guns more and more available so more and more people kill each other, spreading the fear?  Let the Darkies get more guns to escalate the Knock Out Game.  Let Whitey arm up and get far more tense, awaiting a gun grab so he becomes defenseless.  Give more and more folks the power to carry concealed so during amateur hour more folks get shot and then the defenseless civilians fear cops and criminals AND the sheepdogs.

Spread fear and discontent.  Let Blacks roam the cities unfettered.  Let Whites turn suburbia into an armed camp.  Just the increased fear and xenophobia and isolation and cultural disintegration alone benefit the elite.  No gun control needed.  What happened the last time there was national gun control?  The country  was flooded with Chinese SKS’s and Russian Mosin-Nagants, all accompanied by cases and cases of steel cased ammunition for each.  Guns flooded in.  I don’t think the point was to control semi-auto guns ( Clinton might have thought so, but the Prez is just a meat puppet ).  I think it was to put a lot more guns on the ground.

Now, what is the takeaway you should have on this “Saint Valentines Massacre”?  Is it to run down and buy more potentially banned semi-autos?  No, dumbass, buy ammo.  That always was and always will be the weak link.  But that isn’t the takeaway.  It is this.  Get.  Out.  Now.  Are these schools being hit every day in the ghetto?  No, they are in WhiteBreadVille.  Your little conehead could be the next victim.  Is “free” daycare so you can both work worth it?  Is being a single mom so liberating you need to put your kid in the crosshair?

But this isn’t JUST about home schooling.  It is about getting out of the urban war zone.  It is about avoiding crowds.  If you need to dump your suburban home and SUV and buy rural junk land and commute an extra hour a day in a rice burner into your city job ( while well armed, it must be reiterated ) so that your child is safe and your wife doesn’t have to work, so be it.  Why is that such a sacrifice?  You are already living in suburbia in a home you can’t afford, to get your child into a better school and avoid ghetto crowds next to your home.  Take it one step further and go from the suburbs to rural.  All that extra property tax you pay for a better school isn’t keeping the gunmen out of there.

Look, the benevolent leaders have already taken your Union job to save on labor by getting everything made in China.  They have already threatened your child by empowering females to leave you on a whim.  Now they are allowing your children to be shot.  They are allowing Blacks to attack you at will.  They are bringing in Muslims to ratchet up the insurgencies.  Who ISN’T trying to hurt or kill you?  Get the hell out of the densest concentration of violence.  Keep your child out of harms way by moving them out of the city.  The wife should accompany the kids.  You can take the money saved on a second car and a higher mortgage and huge taxes and arm yourself and become more self sufficient.

What I am saying is that now isn’t any different.  Shootings, shootings everywhere all the time.  The intensity has ratcheted up, sure.  But what is new is the now obvious delight our rulers are taking in stirring the crap pot faster and faster.  Every time the authorities lie about the shootings or pretty much ignore them after the first few days, the more the legal drug junkies are encouraged to try to reach to new heights of depravity with their own version of going for the Guinness Book Of World Records.  When their life revolves around video games, and hence their life turns into one, the goal is to reach for the highest score amongst all possible gamers.
