cohesion good and bad

COHESION GOOD AND BAD
In general, our poor attitude is that “lack of social cohesion is bad”.  I mean, sure, we have a good point.  Back in the good ‘ol days, we had our hang ups and bad practices like everywhere else, but we all shared them.  It was a group hypnosis, which is really what culture is.  Culture is a tribes adaptation for localized survival traits.  We look at Muzzies as big retards, which of course they are because they won’t eat bacon, but for the area they started out in not eating pork was a very good idea.
*
We now all remember the tale, thanks to Jared Diamond, of how the Vikings settled in Greenland and did okay for themselves during the Medieval Warm Period.  Alas, the weather changed back from Gore Warming to regular cold and the ruins there seem to speak of a die-off.  Much was made of the settlers Cow Culture and how they wouldn’t adapt to eating fish like the Eskimo’s did ( Inuit’s, whoever.  I have nothing against the native folks up there but I won’t PC up any more than necessary ).  Why aren’t Indonesian Muzzies eating pork?
*
It is the same difference.  Culture isn’t something successful tribes pick and choose from.  Jungle Muzzies might be missing out on a source of protein that is perfectly suitable for their climate, but in theory they have gained more from the other aspects of their religion than they have lost.  To a visiting Martian looking down on our puny planet, ALL religions can seem stupid.  But they serve a very good social engineering purpose ( aside from the personal benefits of order and comfort ) of unification and self-policing.  The religion only has to make sense from an energy conservation standpoint.
*
And other cultural practices are on the same level as religion.  They made/make sense as a local adaptation to circumstances.  Cows make more sense than off shore fish, if the cows eat grass that would normally go to waste as humans cannot eat it.  Why go through all the resource expense of constructing boats to fish?  A cow gets milked every day.  You can only kill a fish once.  Then you have to go out further in better boats to keep getting fish.  It made perfect sense for Europeans to raise dairy animals rather than fish for the bulk of their protein.
*
When Greenland was settled, there was enough pasturage and the climate was similar enough to the homeland to assume dairying was a super great idea.  Hell, those stupid Eskimos were just ignoring all that lush grass!  The soil was almost virgin and hence would obviously be the best grazing the Viking dudes had seen for centuries.  Betsy loved it and with better nutrition started popping out Bovine Baby Betsy’s like she was a rabbit or something.  Who needed fishing?  They didn’t do much fishing because they didn’t need to.  But then, the natives didn’t start grazing.
*
In the case of the natives, the blind devotion to their cultural norms meant that for several centuries they lost out on land based protein.  Extra, almost free protein.  In the case of the Vikings, their blind devotion to their cultural norms ensured their success until the weather changed.  And yet, today, the natives themselves would be starving as fishing is effected by weather ( granted, if we believe the All Hail Gore Warming propagandists ), had they not been forced to change to a White culture.  But you can bet they wouldn’t have voluntarily done it.
*
Again, culture is an adaptation to local circumstances.  Surplus, as a general rule through history, is NOT the norm.  You think it is because you don’t see the trees AND the forest.  Capitalism is not here because we are smart or it is best, but rather because it was the system best used in energy surplus.  Now that the surplus is gone, the growth is gone, now capitalism has nothing but problems.  It is our Freezing Cow moment.  Culturally, we believe ONLY capitalism is acceptable.  I’m still a child of cultural adaptation, believing capitalism is good.  But it isn’t, really, any longer.
*
Fishing is great when only snow and a handful of moss grows on your ice covered island.  Dairying is great when the grass returns every year.  So you build up an infrastructure to take advantage of the system suitable to your climate.  You teach your kids that your system of food production is the norm, and how to do it.  After generations, all the new tricks of the trade get incorporated into the teaching, becoming the expected norm.  Culture is the software in that food production infrastructure, to go with the hardware of the physical equipment.
*
You cannot simply change that cultural conditioning just because you have a bad season.  The climate always fluctuates.  But your culture, like your religion, is NOT a choice but rather the very reality you were born into.  It isn’t a pick and choose choice, it simply just IS.  That culture assures your people the optimal chances of success.  If fishing worked for your location, fishing will always work for your location regardless of fluctuations in the weather.  You don’t abandon the practice.  It isn’t a choice.  Fishing is simply reality.  That is how humans are programmed.  Binary, on or off.
*
Culture doesn’t allow choices.  And for a very good reason.  People can be smart, but they can also be greedy.  In fact, greed isn’t good or bad-sorry, Ayn-is just IS.  We are all lazy and greedy, as programmed since it is a survival trait.  Culture can move the lever on that programming, adding or diminishing to that greed and laziness, as suits local conditions.  What culture does is level the playing field.  The stupid are not penalized even if the smarter ones aren’t adequately rewarded.  A level playing field maximizes the output and harmonizes relations.  It doesn’t waste people.
*
Capitalists WANT to be Social Darwinists, having the poor die off.  This is not hyperbole.  Under the Puritan religion, God only loves you if you are rich, are trying to get rich, or are in a rich family.  Sure, it started out as encouraging hard work, which is a good thing ( see, I’m still influences by the Protestant Work Ethic ), but since money was the score keeper it quickly evolved.  But of course, those money grubbing Christians sure hate other Mammon Worshippers such as Jews or Mormons.  Silly rabbit!  They are all currently the same- capitalist religions.
*
We all spend great amounts of time hating anything but capitalism.  That is our reality, the ONLY system we acknowledge as adequate, good, just or logical.  But our “logic” is cultural.  Capitalism worked the best, it assured our survival, and now our tribe ONLY knows capitalism.  We even incorporate it into our religion, trying to place its importance and suitability far into the past where it didn’t belong.  It has become fable.  And I’m NOT saying this is bad.  Don’t just assume I’m a communist because I dared to question our common cultural programming.  ALL cultures are the same in this regard.
*
The only reason so many people are questioning capitalism in the first place is because we lack most social cohesion.  Our culture started breaking down fifty years ago.  It is only recently that Other Than Capitalism became more that a very small niche of thought.  The growth of Not Capitalism is a huge indicator how much quicker the system is disintegrating.  And this is where LACK of social cohesion turns from being Only Bad to actually becoming a blessing in disguise.  In actual fact, it has become itself a survival trait.  It is a form of mutation, once it reaches a certain point.
*
And mutations are how the species assures its survival no matter what happens.  With that, we continue tomorrow.

  1. Correct Jim. I only rely upon and use my birth culture as a guide book for operational purposes in the territory that I dwell in. I appropriate and use technical and practical aspects of other cultures to improve my situation or as an adaptation aid in a changing environment around me. This does not mean being a national geographic trust fund baby travelling the world embracing the diversity of goofy looking people. It is more like observing how a foreign peasant uses ropes in sixteen different methods in place of box store implements bought with capitalist slave workers store chits.(usc federal reserve notes) I doze off from indifference during the dogma sermons from the political party officers, and blaring newspeak from the screens. The collapse and die off will be a very instructive curriculum for minionites to either adapt to the coming 'real' changes or perish. Keep at it Jim.

    2. Addendum. Minionites should have been capitalized, of course. Recommend getting those stars and stripes tatoos lasered off now, lest they be discovered during camp intake and interrogation interviews for one's new work assignment or disposal determination. Carry on.

    4. No tattoos! Those things are about a hunnert bux a square inch in Portlandia and the ink is frequently toxic/allergenic/cancer causing. Also, extra identifying things are bad. There has to be a reason the major religions prohibited them from "good people" and were okay with pirates/prostitutes/gangsters having tattoos. Roman Legionaires got the spqr and elite German troops got lightning bolts, which did not serve them in enemy camps. Cultural identifiers, or sub-culture, to help people know what to do with or for you.

    5. Damn inflation! Even tattoos are too expensive. You would think with the competition in that field...

    6. Pdxr13 is right about tatoos. They're not the smartest things to get.

    7. I thought about the advisability of getting mine, for years before I relented. Under clothing, dime sized Circle A anarchist sign. I felt the tribal ID was worth it. Damn thing hurt like a bitch though-just for that I won't get another. Does posting this constitute compromised OpSec? They already have my fingerprints from the military, so, meh.

    9. Someone was once relating to me a conversation that he had with a tattoo artist. He mentioned something to the artist about the rise in females getting tattoos today. The tattoo artist looked at him, winked, and exclaimed:

“You can thank me later for marking the crazy one’s for you partner” :D

  2. Don't confuse true Christianity with those mega-millionaire televangelist clowns. "Name it, claim it, I'm following in Jesus' steps by driving a Rolls Royce, You give my ministry a house and God will give you 100 houses, God wants me to buy this Lear jet to spread the gospel...etc." They are either con men or seriously deceived (it's hard to know what's in their hearts).

    Acts 8:20-23
"But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money! You have no part or portion in this matter, for your heart is not right before God. Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bondage of iniquity.”
    Peace out

Having been a former member of the LDS, this piqued my curiosity. I knew that they were mighty rich, but didn’t know to what extent. I also recall having read that way back in the day, Brigham Young having been sued by one of his wives to the sum of around $3 million. I looked it up, and they’re in the #4 position of the worlds richest religions. Still, for only having around 8 million members world wide, that’s rather impressive. The Catholics are in the number one slot (Imagine my surprise to learn that the papists jewed the #1 mantle away from the actual jews :D ).

In other news, I find all this phony moral outrage over this recent college admissions scam involving several celebrities, to be hilarious! The argument being of course, that hard working and qualifying students are edged out. But the elites have been paying their children's way into prestigious schools from the beginning (Does anyone actually believe that über dumbfucks such as Forrest Gore, or shrub jr, actually made it into prestigious schools on their own merit?). There’s also the fact that such institutions have been allowing in for many years now, a certain number of non-qualified leftist sacred cows, all in the name of “diversity” (No moral outrage there of course).

I see that the left couldn’t wait to find a way to blame Trump for the New Zealand massacre. So much for their effective form of gun control, eh?

    1. The Papists know all about demographics. It worked for them for 2k years. By contrast, the Mormons aren't breeding fast enough to make up for that. Elite schools favoritism? King Kenya had two degrees, right? Dumber than a box of wet feces. And Shrub was even dumber. Might as well laugh about it-there aren't enough tears.
