Most are stupidly expensive, or infested with affluenza libertards and their offspring with a community of like kind hired help. My checklist is like a page or two long with "requirements", excluding the babbling brook in the back forty yard. Get the best you can and do workarounds of the nuisances. Some of those negatives may be temporary or can be ignored in the larger scheme of things. I some times have to rise above my own frustrations with the attendant homicidal urges, then consider the detritis of humanity around me as human meat shields and diversion distractions, which provides a screen from discovery of my own agendas and operational activities. Hide in plain sight, use those others as a resource like sheep shearing and culling. Be the apex. If we had a believable voting system, AND could vote in a national socialist who could arrest all the bankers, Democrats, and media owners. And executed all federal judges ( okay, not needed, but a bonus ). Then forced California to leave the Union. Then moved all Mexican's there, and all Blacks to a Southern location ( not Florida, but another craphole we can't much use. Georgia? ) and gave them X years of aid before total independence. Then took away the rights of women to vote, and made city living a luxury but farming a subsidized profession for smallholders. Mandatory firearms ownership and practice, with it being illegal to organize the militia by anyone. See? So easy and probable :)James M Dakinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01382139289994087931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-83667314057308867302019-01-08T11:03:59.644-08:002019-01-08T11:03:59.644-08:00“When I tell you we have lost the culture war, I d...“When I tell you we have lost the culture war, I don’t imply you can win it back.”

It’s probably hopeless, but every so often I get this idea that if I could somehow find an area that has managed to be left largely untouched from the levels of insanity that the rest of society has sunk to, I’d do so (My own slice of rural heaven if you will, which would exclude all relations with sisters, farm animals, and ass raping hillbilly’s :D ). But I’m afraid that social media has been piped into the most dank and rural of areas, and that one would be hard pressed to find that of which I speak. As recently as the 1980’s, such areas still existed in fly over country, but you’d hard pressed to find that now. Though you never know. There could be a few such pockets out there that the insanity has managed to leave behind.

The Sea Gypsy option that LM speaks of, sounds as if it could be a viable option for some (not me, as I’m a land lover) I do believe that I have a rough draft guest article in the queue on this very topic. As far as pirates go, the only one’s that you really have to be concerned with, are of the ass variety :D No, but in all seriousness, I do believe that is more of a tropical sort of problem, Jim.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-25014112187563464182019-01-08T10:40:29.225-08:002019-01-08T10:40:29.225-08:00Well said! In your 1...re:
1/9/2019: Rawles latest rant

Bison,
In your 1/9/2019 edition of your beloved 'You Cannot Be Serious!' newsletter, you generously give a link to a book titled INTO THE CANNIBALS POT.

I am pretty sure the Rawles tirade of today accomplished one thing == keeping the pot stirred.

You mention hermitage. I get the impression you/'minions' are open to achieving this by retreating to a quiet unwanted chunk of dirt, hoping to be the last idjit boiled in the pot.

I understand. That was our hope by settling in a fertile rainy valley near Eugene Oregon fUSA. Farm, farm animals, farm schedule instead of city schedule, farm folks as neighbors.

Oops. We failed to consider the tide(s). The goofballs out-bred us. The numbers are too lopsided, overwhelming all attempts at exchanging rational dialogue. I tried, I joined a group of elders allegedly wanting nothing more than locating a large home so we can live in peace == kumbaya == during our dotage. They turned out to be just another bunch of wackazoids.

I had the same hopes before joining the Eugene Peace Choir... the most cantankerous opinionated devious bunch of back-stabbing lunatics, worse than I could ever ever imagine. Thankfully, I ran screaming for the hills just before they balistically detonated from their attempts to get everybody else to be peace... without mentioning the totalitarianism required to accomplish The Agenda.

My comment today to Rawles suggested he stand outside a grocery store with an ironing board and petition, gathering signatures so everybody can vote on the excitement du jour.

I closed my comment by saying I almost made it through my closing paragraph without grinning. Almost.

* * * * *

I still like the idea of retiring now, get or build a boat, and join with like-minded to travel the remains of this particular planet. Sea Gypsy Tribes.

The alleged 'First World' civilizations are collapsed, not 'collapsing'. One door closes, a hundred other doors open.

Maybe it's just me. Stewing mentally and spiritually in the pot hilariously called 'civilization' while desperately holding the lid from sealing you in? Best wishes, I hope you get everything you desire.

I rather relax on a beach with a stack of books at my elbow, a forest or jungle of groceries within a casual stroll. Call me 'simple-minded', I take it as a compliment. No, it is a bad SYSTEM. The system is against you."

There you have arrived at the crux of the matter. Democracy does not work. Period. Socrates knew that fact, stated it, and they killed him for doing so. Book VIII of Plato's Republic perfectly describes the U.S. of today. And of course us Americans had to take democracy to a new and higher level of stupidity and self-worship by giving women the right to vote, something the Greeks never considered.

Democracy is what the Christians have long been on the lookout for: the 'anti-Christ' or 'Beast'. They just didn't know it wouldn't be a man, but rather a SYSTEM.

"Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that didn't commit suicide". -John Adams

That's where we're at: suicide. Socrates knew it about 2500 years ago.Andersonnoreply@blogger.com
