Oil reserve...Never believe any of the lying liars. Oil reserve numbers were lied about forty years ago, and that reporting is far worse today. Venezuela was pumping oil near 100 years ago. What is left is very low net energy crap akin to tar sands or fracking oil. As global industry contracts from The Greatest Depression, demand for oil is down ( no need to manufacture stuff for unemployed people ). Low net energy crud doesn't sell. Not our fracking oil ( we cannot export the stuff ) and not Venezuela's. Folks can pick from higher energy crude, and they don't want the Fake Fuels. If socialism killed Venezuela, Sweden and France would have died long ago. Even the Saudi's are having problems with being stuck with too much lesser quality oil. It would be like you liquifying coal and trying to sell it with your competitor selling high test racing fuel. At the same price. I'm not a religious man, so I can't pray for you, but I wish you all the luck getting through your difficult period.James M Dakinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01382139289994087931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-88899283662957886592018-09-25T08:28:53.977-07:002018-09-25T08:28:53.977-07:00i recently lost my husband suddenly.

I have a few old car batteries sitting around, but the thought had never occurred to me to try and salvage lead from them; mostly because I know what incredible nasty stuff sulfuric acid is. After reading the process in the Dick’s Encyclopedia on the fulminate of mercury (percussion caps) I’ve come to the conclusion that this is also a process to be avoided unless you had no other choice, and even then, you’d better know what you’re doing.

Here in the PRK, lead has just about been outlawed, or soon will be. I can see a time when all bullets will be made from Bismuth or Tungsten, and cost a fortune.

Luckily for me, I probably have a 100lbs or so of lead sitting around, that my father had molded into wheel weights for his tractors, from the days when lead was easier to obtain. I don’t know the breakdown of it, but it probably has some antimony and tin in it. Some guns, such as cap and ball revolvers use pure lead balls, and I have more than a few of these guns, so I probably need to buy at least some lead.

Elko MinionAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-38493471936776884872018-09-24T06:29:33.040-07:002018-09-24T06:29:33.040-07:00Do you mean 4th GenWar? Both are luxuries ( with the caveat you can own a car if the property is paid for, as long as you can get into town with alt transportation ). One is an affordable luxury, the other is usually not ( although, granted, the Insurance Banker Cartel really chaps my ass and I hate insurance companies with a red hot passion which might slightly color my logic ). If we were truly, honest Injun prepping, should a car be allowed? Back in my day the worse that could happen to you was to burn circles in your thumbs holding a jumper wire on it or blow up in your mug if you fucked up and put the terminals on backwards. I seen a guy in the army cross wire a set of 36v batteries for a gammagoat blow up and burnt 3 fingers off his hand cause he was wearing rings. The rings turned white hot instantly and then fingers hit the floor. I took my class ring off and never put it back on and I don't wear a wedding ring neither. I don't do any jewelry, nor does my spouse.
