Spokane is the future center of power to the East of the Cascade range, paralleled somewhat by Boise. Look at the navigable waterways, where the heavy rail runs, where very-high-voltage lines run, and where the power plants are located. Ignore roads, except as they parallel heavy rail.

pdxr13

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-7512177115841835252015-08-31T07:55:50.057-07:002015-08-31T07:55:50.057-07:00Bigger snakes make for bigger steaks !Bigger snakes make for bigger steaks !Spudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00689059709873763146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-33692291958806214982015-08-30T10:07:42.086-07:002015-08-30T10:07:42.086-07:00“That's bad. Fortunately, it seems that most of Nevada is considered undesirable, and only hellholes in which I would never live, such as Reno and Vegas, are what's attracting the undesirables.

I was in your neck of the woods last fall pdxr13, and drove through a sweet little town by the name of “Myrtle Creek” on the way to Beaverton/Hillsboro for business (Prior to my layoff of course). I would love to live in the area, but that entire I-5 corridor, or pretty much the entire Willamette valley has been ruined by these yahoos. Myrtle Creek was still reasonably priced for anyone that has a halfway decent job (Not me, even prior to the layoff) but out of my budget, so Elko area it was.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-43836886814924029682015-08-30T06:37:00.938-07:002015-08-30T06:37:00.938-07:00Oregon went commie decades ago-there is nothing to...Oregon went commie decades ago-there is nothing to change there now. That's bad. People try to make the next place like the old place "maybe the socialism, crowding, Agenda21, and huge bureaucracy will work in a different place differently?" Some speculation on "climate refugees", but we all know better. The Golden State urban areas are hell-holes unless you have at least $10M and earn at least $1M every year. Even rural areas are subject to the corrupt whims of 3 levels of local official criminality, as well as crushing rules on anything productive from Sacramento. Unless a person is a Hollywood movie support person or a wholesale drug dealer (oh, wait...), gtfo is the only option that makes sense.

pdxr13Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-20174354619820237172015-08-29T12:22:51.421-07:002015-08-29T12:22:51.421-07:00"total victory" won't be needed in t..."total victory" won't be needed in the fUSA, merely enough that the FedGov decides that allowing States to be sovereign is the cheaper course. We need not just "States rights" but a weak Federal Government that can't do much at all inside or outside the borders. Being a You-Esss Congreaseman should be a punishment for ambitious politicians (WA-DC suuucks with the burning and starving and sh!t!), not a way to become wealthy 400x your locals. pdxr13https://www.blogger.com/profile/04663894695994248670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-753029138743646812015-08-29T12:05:25.233-07:002015-08-29T12:05:25.233-07:00Next up, Obammy mandatory Gore Warming insurance.Next up, Obammy mandatory Gore Warming insurance.James M Dakinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01382139289994087931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-90103448803981355642015-08-29T10:05:06.540-07:002015-08-29T10:05:06.540-07:00Politicians will keep beating the same old growth ...Politicians will keep beating the same old growth and jobs drum well past the time when it makes any sense. Then they start saying "this is the way we did things up north" Our usual reaction is to offter to pay for the uhaul to get them back there. But one thing they do know how to do is raise a ruckus at the state level, and we get stuck with rising taxes and crappy atitudes.
