The problem is that even the generic stuff (which doesn't work anywhere near as well as the original brand by the way) costs $15 a can, and that probably doesn't last more then a month. The solution? I'm going to go with a 50lb sack of wheat bran from the feed store for $12. Very high in fiber, even more so then the generic metamucil.
