Far from shopping or trees and you are safe. They are still screwing up the state government, like LA cholos west of us, but there were also a lot of issues I had with some of the mountain state governments as well. They did rip it off, just as the Spanish took the land from Native Americans as we did from the American Native Americans. They had only achieved independence from Spain and France for several decades before the land was taken due to the U.S. Mexican War. Winners and Losers baby - that is reality.

The Mexicans are slowly reclaiming rights on our side of the border due to illegal immigration. Cold, bleak, and desolate places (The Dakota’s) are places that most of these people would never even consider. There’s a sacrifice on your part in terms of comfort, but to me it’s worth it to get as far away from these types of people as possible.

It helps to put yourself in the mind of a progressive. Some years back I made a comment to someone that I had wanted to move to the rural south. I got the response of:

“Oh no, not me, everyone back there is ignorant”.

That was an awesome answer, because it indicated to me that people such as this person would never dream of moving to such areas and ruining them :D

Of course now I do not think that the south is a good place to be, but this is due to population density more than anything else.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-52122189699017102342018-06-13T18:11:50.521-07:002018-06-13T18:11:50.521-07:00Right, it almost seems tribes are further down the...Right, it almost seems tribes are further down the collapse line. Independent, dependent, each has plus and minuses. One thing I'm encountering which might be applicable-my potential tribe members keep moving away. What if yours does, following that shrinking pool of jobs? Just something to ponder. Loner hermit starts to appeal. Then there is Yellowstone ( but I look at there and Drowning Florida as extra paranoid planning-which I probably shouldn't ). But, I really can't argue that Nevada has issues being next to Cali. But, really, I think most places are on a general downward spiral anyway. Is there really a great place left? You used to have Alaska which at least had the oil revenue tax share to help if you had low income out in the bush, but then the oil is drying up and that is toast. Texas is getting way overcrowded ( +illegals ). You could make a case against a lot of states. If I went back twenty years, would I want any state knowing what I do now? And while I don’t regret my purchase, if I had to do over again, I would not buy so close to Kalifornia. Jim alone, informing me that private firearms sales were abolished more recently, tells you that Kalifornians have already ruined Nevada enough, and that you should look elsewhere if possible.

If I had it to do over again, I would choose either eastern Montana or the Dakota’s, but in all likelihood the Dakota’s. Montana, Wyoming (nicknamed the “equality state”, so I would never move there on principle alone) and the Dakota’s, are the 4 states that are taking on the least amount of immigration (hence, the least likely to be ruined in the near future).

But if you do end up in any of these states, plan on earth sheltered as a given. I've been looking at junk land in Elko as my "retirement plan" since this cess pit of a state has left me without a pot to piss in so to speak... Should I reconsider, lest I be an outcast "Yankee"? Every other "affordable" location puts me in the midst of the wrong tribe, though its getting that way in CA too... Should've bailed out 15 years ago but wasn't awake yet. Now thanks to your teachings Ive got so much more to think about, it makes the decision of where to go all the more daunting! Damn your out of the box thinking and your lustrous hair!
