You must "return" as many as you want new ones. Want five more, return five you have. Right now I'm reading "How My Gay Uncle F'd Up Christmas" I think by N Black. So all the device will hold is all you have with the Big Kindle Mothership falls over when the dark days come. Read all you like but you have to return it after so many days. There is a pdf book called Sailing the Farm for free, just Google it, that although deals with self sufficiency on a sailboat, should have some stuff you can use. Plus I down load a lot of the free books.

There is a lot of junk out there but every once in a while you are surprised by a real gem.

My rule of thumb -- I'll start reading a book and after a few chapters, I'll set it down. The next day I'll ask myself if I really care what happens to the characters. If yes, then I finish reading. If no, I delete it and go to another.

A great free book is "Wool" by Howey. Distopian rather than straight survival but a good read none the less. If you like it, the rest in the series are fairly cheap. Plus, he has opened up his world for other authors to write short stories.

Idaho HomesteaderAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-19683541051098293492014-08-26T08:50:34.947-07:002014-08-26T08:50:34.947-07:00Dude, I agree so much on the 1 in 30 being hardly ...Dude, I agree so much on the 1 in 30 being hardly readable. I read something about this at one time and have not been able to find the original nor I have I seen anyone else write about it. What I am talking about is the link between nationalism and the love of team sports. Care to weigh in? I have yet to see an exception to this "rule". Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
