Though some have mentioned that you really want the powdered bleach, because apparently, the liquid stuff does lose its effectiveness over time. Bleach is great, since it doubles as water purifier.

That is the one nice thing about black powder. You only use soap and water to clean. No bore solvent. That Triple 7 synthetic black powder only requires water. I’m going to have to get some of that stuff one of these days.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686829448547770092.post-1725669971462365992020-05-11T08:31:23.655-07:002020-05-11T08:31:23.655-07:00I need to pick up some more ammonia. Swab with ammonia to neutralize, then clean as normal. Boiling water works, but you cannot wait too long. We also pre-cleaned our military firearms in the showers, to get rid of a lot of gunk. It's only fun when you're playing against other people of similar skill levels and where it's not possible to get an unfair advantage over your opponent.

However there are times when one team is out classed. That's not fun for either side. Or there are times when poorly designed maps allow for one side to "spawn camp" and wipe out opposing players as they join the game. Again not fun

But here's the point. If you're on the winning side you can't but help annihilate the opposing team. It's not fun in any way but you still do it. The real point though is the side getting pummeled just stops playing and what happens then? What happens is the whole game collapses.

Substitute economy / society for game.

For my position right now, I'm trying to survive this nonsense but once the crisis passes (it really is just the flu) I'm going to be working to opt out. Any decent sized casino with buffets or restaurants as part of their operations have employee chow halls as the break rooms serving up ample food like a buffet. (Fat and happy employees for docile and above average morale) Usually it is a industry customary/cultural policy for meals provided to the team members at work. Most of whom feed their face past full because it is "free". The corpratists will leverage or introduce the food at work benefit as a larger or near all ratio of compensation, in lieu of actual pay or other benefits. A shrewd carnegie type will go full company town model and corral the hired help into an orwellian complex of on site housing and feeding of worker bees, with all of the control shock collar methods as well. Many proles will gladly be on waiting lists, or allow themselves to be subjected to any indecent acts, for positions in such arrangements. Because food, provided for them, when otherwise outside the company compound it is scarce or extremely expensive at soylent green levels. Whomever lamented that ammunition would be the currency of the new millenium is off the mark.

Food is first.

Stay fed, then stay frosty. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
