Most of the food, is no more real than the wax fruits on your grannies table. This is part of why so many are so fat. Combined with screen hypnosis so many are overweight screen adhering slugs that will likely die before they can respond to total absence of even the fake food. I should know, I resemble the example far too closely for comfort. I go to a cubical farm every morning, stare at a screen, come home every night and stare at a (slightly less brain killing than average) screen next to my family. If I don't struggle hard to get a hold of organic fresh foods I end up eating corn syrup laden polysyllabic ingredient synthetic 'food', and always feel the worse for it the next day. That synthetic stuff is significantly cheaper than all but the most basic of ingredients for home cooked meals (rice, corn, wheat, potatoes, and beans). With cheap TVs, cheap synthetic food, and no realistic push for adult health, would it be any sort of surprise if the poorest population is too _out of shape_ to revolt and to brain dead to see the need before it is too late?
